This is the story I'm working on, and hoping to turn into a manga. Right now I've not really done any pics or anything, I've just drawn up a few of the characters and have been trying to get the story down before I move on to putting it into pictures. So yea.....here's the prologue.....

Prologue
At the beginning of time, when the world was still in creation, after the trees and the rivers, came the seven elemental stones. Legend tells of these seven sacred stones of wind, water, fire, light, earth, shadow, and lightning. It is said that anyone worthy enough to collect all seven would become the ultimate warrior, not only able to weild the power each individual stone posessed, but also gaining the ability to cheat even death.
The reward is great, however, so is the risk. Each stone was placed in its own temple. The temples were spread throughout the world, and guarded by mind-boggling labyrinths with countless traps around every turn. Not to mention the vicious beasts ready to tear flesh from bone and the many monsterous guardians who resided there.
The ancients of this world wished for the stones to be a last resort to save, or destroy if need be, all life from any unforeseen fate. To make sure no one unworthy of wielding them could reach the stones, and that the stones would be protected always, they constructed the temples and so heavily guarded these divine relics. The ancients were wise and knew that greed is what drives mankind to all sinful and murderous intentions. Fearing that, in the wrong hands, the power of the stones could be misused and extremely dangerous, they wanted to ensure the protection of the stones would last throughout the ages.
For this reason, they put one final spell on each of the temples. This spell made it so that the price for entering a temple and failing to come out alive is not only death. Whoever should happen to die inside a temple loses their soul, along with their life, and becomes doomed to an eternity of guarding the temple they fell to.
Since the beginning of mankind, as the ancients predicted, people have sought after and coveted the power of the stones. Many have entered the various temples in attempt to possess just one, but only those wise enough to turn back before going too far have managed to come out alive.
Now, centuries later, many people have forgotten the legend, while others have simply given up on it. However, there are still a few warriors left who would seek to fulfill the legend and obtain the sacred stones. They must battle and overcome all obstacles in their way, including each other. All the while, being cautious not to underestimate their opponents, for the sacred stones are not the only means of obtaining great power in this world.
