So we've seen the hooded figure in a much closer way. The things to look at are his eyes and how the cornea is black. This indicates to me that he is an edo tensei and could possibly be under genjutsu (just like how the other edo's could be controlled by the original user)
The face also looks like it has been stitched up, which to me further proves that he is indeed an Edo.
There are these little tiny rods that are attached around his eye. They look like a smaller version of the chakra rods created by Nagato. The only issue is that only a rinnegan could use this technique. But could the same be done with a sharingan?
The hooded man also had that weird creature/summon with a sharingan that was spying on everyone, and it seemed like it was sharing it's vision with both the hooded man and Shin.
So maybe Shin isn't suggesting that the hooded figure is his father, but the controller of the Edo is. What do you guys think?
