So we've seen the hooded figure in a much closer way. The things to look at are his eyes and how the cornea is black. This indicates to me that he is an edo tensei and could possibly be under genjutsu (just like how the other edo's could be controlled by the original user)

The face also looks like it has been stitched up, which to me further proves that he is indeed an Edo.

There are these little tiny rods that are attached around his eye. They look like a smaller version of the chakra rods created by Nagato. The only issue is that only a rinnegan could use this technique. But could the same be done with a sharingan?

The hooded man also had that weird creature/summon with a sharingan that was spying on everyone, and it seemed like it was sharing it's vision with both the hooded man and Shin.

So maybe Shin isn't suggesting that the hooded figure is his father, but the controller of the Edo is. What do you guys think?

I'm honestly at a loss regarding shin, I don't believe he's an uchiha. I think those eyes were given to him.

I had a thought that he has his eye stitched open to keep his sharingan from closing forever maybe he used Izanagi and thats his loophole all of Danzo's sharingan on his arm closed after they used the technique maybe forcing the eye to stay open would be a way around losing the light of the eye

I believe that too. He must have been given the sharingan and given "a new purpose" in life. That is why he cares so much for the honour of the Uchiha clan, it's the only thing he has in this world.

Hmm that would be weird though. I think their eyes would just turn white just like Itachi's did instead of physically closing them shut. Cause simply keeping them open to stop a limit on a powerful jutsu like Izanagi would be hilarious xD

It certainly continues the norm of a sharingan being earned in pain and suffering but I think it's getting a bit old that's all, but hey kishi has done well so far.
