So I thought came to my mind, tomorrow is the day all Pokemon fans have been waiting for when, but again I thought came to my mind, are we getting a trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon along with scans from Corocoro on the same day? I just had to share my thought haha, but Pokemon fans, if you were able to choose what kind of animals the starters will be, what will they be? I will love the starters shown tomorrow no matter what, because I love all Pokemon, but I want to say the three animals I think would be really cool to see as starters would be a dolphin for a water starter, a sheep for a fire starter, and last but not least a gorilla for a grass starter :)

I always get both haha for every generation including one more or two more depending on if there's a third installment.

A scorpion starter would be pretty amazing and I could definitely see a wolf as a fire starter. I think we both saw the same dolphin pokemon fan art haha

What's wrong with the new style?
Well, I just don't like the "cutiefication", respectively, the exaggerated chibi-style of most new Pokemon since gen. 4 or 5. It's been even worse in gen. 6 lately. In addition to that, the mega-evolutions are a disgusting feature in my opinion and turns the Pokemon-franchise into a Digimon-wannabe. The new designs of Pokemon add to that issue too. A good friend of mine played X and Y and she said that the games become way too easy, especially since the item "Exp. Share" gives experience points to your entire team now and you get multiple Pokemon donated ingame everywhere.

Alpha/Omega averted the cutiefication in my opinion, and were more true to bringing that era into 3D. But I can understand your point in regards to X and Y (yes, X and Y were sinfully easy). But some of the things you're pointing out were actually a return to Gen 1. The way the Exp. Share worked in X and Y is the way it worked in Gen 1 (although Gen 1 was more unforgiving about dividing your Exp), and Pokemon Yellow probably still has the most free donations of Pokemon. xD

I'm not a fan of Mega Evolutions either. They're cool, and I geeked out over them when they were first announced, but they make teambuilding less fun (you can't not feel like you're missing out if you don't have a Mega in your team :( ) and they were implemented poorly (Mega Evolutions within the same Gen that aren't compatible between games? What a f*ck up).

Maybe it's just because Alpha/Omega was a remake, but that game does make me think they're capable of performing a return to form, though.

Never played the first Gen, only the remakes of it. But I think the way "Exp. Share" worked in the most games was fine.
Yeah, let's see if they change the games again. I doubt it but I'll still give Nintendo a chance, otherwise I'd just ignore the whole topic, as well as this thread. ^^
