A little more on Sasuke

Yup, on the other hand naruto has a bunch of groupies babysit him while he's training. And sasuke has to put his life on the line in the training since hebi days

They are teachers, not babysitters. People who help guide and develop. Standard procedure when training.

Sasuke got the same treatment with Orochimaru + getting implants & injections to increase his powers.

The reason we don't get Sasuke training arcs is simple, he isn't the main character, Sasuke is a deuteragonist not the protagonist.

Once Kishi was asked why Sasuke doesn't get his own movie, he replied that he isn't the main character. Doing an arc about Sasuke learning would be like doing an entire arc on Shikamaru or any of the other characters training.

Its not like we get a Sakura training arc either or a Sai training arc.

We saw a flashback for Guy, kakashi, Sakura, Lee etc and it followed their training and how they achieved certain skills. Yet Kishi won't make one for Sasuke...come on, even an explanation in brief would be nice. He used to make little flashbacks about Sasuke...just saiyan

They each got less then a full chapter except Guy, none of them got an arc or a several chapter flash back.


The Kakashi Gaiden, was more about the introduction of Obito, a new villain who is one of the biggest villains in the manga, that was more about set up for Obito's entrance rather then the backstory of Kakashi.

The one's who say they want to see sasuke train, are the 1 who don't understand his character. The only training arc that makes since is the time-skip where sasuke(as a kid) trained with orochimaru.

Like you said sasuke is a genius and because of this what takes normal people a while to master, takes sasuke little to no time to master.

Now to those who think sasuke gets non-stop free powerup, you are mistaken. Sasuke developed at a young age his sharingan then chunin exams showed his 2 tomoe and fight with naruto 3 tomoe. He lost the Cs mark he got from orochimaru and after fight with Itachi(and learning everything about his brother) developed his ms. Then overuse ms and then get itachi's eyes implanted, thus resulting in ems. Last power up from sage results in advanced rinnegan. 2 given power-ups only

Naruto same 2 given power-ups. Kyubi and sage gift.

Everything naruto worked so hard on sasuke could've learned so easily and less time... Thats why sasuke is the gifted genius and naruto is an idiot

By fighting the Kage, Sasuke almost lost his sight and then needed to have Itachi's implanted. I think this was Tobi's real intention. To make Sasuke as strong as possible and use him as a pawn.
He only really weakened Aye who was stupid and hot headed. Once Gaara arrived, the fight was over as he used a strong defence to buy time and preserve Aye's remaining limbs. While Gaara had no intention of fighting Sasuke, it was clear watching Sasuke face off against Onoki and mizukage Mei, that he was no match. Had Tobi not come to get Sasuke out of there, it would have been the end of him.
Knowing Sasuke's lack of power will always be enough to drive him to wanting more, he sent him. He knew Sasuke would be beaten and thus would request Itachi's eyes.

Which was Sasuke's training he developed new techniques got stronger more confident...You just proved my point that Sasuke's training is actual combat

Sasuke is gifted but Kishi should have gave him another arc to develop his skills. Naruto has all the manga time so it's Kishis fault. Although according to the DB, Sasuke trains for fun.

Naruto worked for Sage Mode; Sasuke only had to cry to get Mangekyo Sharingan.
Naruto had to work and fight the Nine Tails to master Tailed Beast Mode; Sasuke had Obito implant Itachi's eyes.
Naruto had to work to befriend all Bijuu and get their chakra; Sasuke was just enjoying his freebies at the moment.
Then the Sage gave them power-ups, but Naruto only received the Sage's Rods and Senjutsu and Sasuke got the Sage's Senjutsu and an Advanced Sharingan. Come on now, how is Sasuke not getting free power-ups?

You know Damn Well Sasuke had to cry to unlock his Mangekyo Sharingan.
He stole Orochimaru's Body as a power-up prior to that, which was good, but was the only power-up he worked for. Then he lost all that "hard work" when Itachi defeated Orochimaru.​

This should seriously be done in the Anime.​

OT. Sasuke worked hard with oro, those techs you mentioned he worked for them, chidori variants and kirin were all gotten through training, if you fail to aclknowledge it, then thats your problem.

Training Arcs? For What Purpose Exactly? Sasuke along with his off-panel training develops his skills in battle which Uchiha have a knact for. Compare Mangekyou Sharingan Sasuke that faced Killer B(Amaterasu), To the one that faced the Raikage(Enton/Flame Control), to the one that faced Danzo(Susanoo), to the one that Faced Team 7(Combination of Susanoo/Enton). He develop techniques during his match-ups. It takes time to become accustom to the Sharingan Eyes.

What amazes me in saying "Sasuke cried to achieve the Mangekyou Sharingan" but then being comfortable placing the word "Work" in the sentence saying Naruto had to befriend the Tailed Beast. The two are both clearly emotionally linked. Sasuke had to actually kill his brother first and then familiarize himself with the truth. The Sharingan is an eye that reflects emotion clearly his emotional and mental development would affect his powers. The Sharingan tends to improve in stage or achieve a new power in battle that has to do more with ones feelings, in other words a fight that means more to the Sharingan User or how much the Uchiha cared about that battle. Another Hint of this quality is the Most Powerful Uchiha has a Love for fighting and "Feeling the Fight."

As Much as Naruto Fans previously tossed Killer B v. Sasuke scans around as slander to his character you would think they would know the most that simply achieving the Mangekyou Sharingan does not make you Itachi. Reason why Itachi did much more respectible against Killer B and the fact that you have to get accustom to your Mangekyou Sharingan usage and that's why debates about Mangekyou Sharingan Sasuke that faced Danzo is a much more debatable match-up against Killer B than the Mangekyou Sharingan Sasuke Killer B previously faced.

To Conclude, The Mangekyou Sharingan is an eye for the genius. The Moment you awaken it your eyes ascend towards blindness and the more you use the Sharingan the swifter the ascendance. So if Sasuke was not in fact a genius and had to work extensively to learn how to use Mangekyou Sharingan techniques. He would be blind before he learns one.

What I am doing is simply criticizing Kishimoto for not putting more time and effort into a character which should be very relevant to the show. The only reason I want more Sasuke-time as it were, would be to see how the techniques developed.

I do not care if some people think he is a genius, smarter than or better than Naruto. This doesn't change anything. I also don't really care if people choose to think he could have done everything Naruto did but better..which is wrong on so many levels I can't even begin to fart that one out.

They are two different characters who are both of vital importance to the show. I am simply saying I would have liked to see where the moves Sasuke learnt came from, know a little about the origin of the techniques and frankly I wanted to see more of him as the simple MS Sasuke (which was the best IMO) a lot more of his EMS powers as we barely saw anything other than him being inferior to Itachi (or so it appeared) and now that he has the Rinnegan and one EMS Sharingan(nice one Kishi) I would like to be able to understand this character choice better.

I have questions concerning a character who intrigues me, as a true fan to the show and all the thoughtful characters in it who are the creation of a clearly gifted/talented writer. I would simply like to understand the characters in equal depth, significant to their roles of course.

I will not just D-ride someone and state they do not need training time or that they just know how to do things cause I want them deep inside me...no! I would like to know why and how the characters I have been following for the better part of 10 years, have gotten to the point they are at. This was not meant to be a fan fart war.

No one said he doesn't need to train they said he trains but he picks up on things faster than normal people does even then on an older post you was saying Sasuke took injections and what not to become stronger...which he didn't btw. No one is mad, though i guess it's only on my pov
