A Jinchurriki in Sage-Mode ... My theory is like no one else's...

1. Fukusaku was training Naruto for the sole purpose of helping him get stronger.
2. Naruto wants to learn new techniques, so Fukusaku taught him Jiraiya's technique of Sage-Mode.
3. Naruto practiced and perfected this ability!
4. He has gone through all the training Fukusaku can offer, and can learn NO more from him.


Naruto using Natural Energy: Both from the Environment & the 9-Tails (The KEY is that BOTH are Nature Energy)

9 Tailed Fox, Balanced: When the Natural Energy of the 9-Tails is EQUAL to his own... ONLY his eyes change.
9 Tailed Fox, Imbalanced: The Natural Energy begins to overwhelm him, and we see "The Demon's Cloak".
9 Tailed Fox, OUT OF Control: Naruto's physical form becomes that of the 9-Tailed Fox.
--- Important --- This means that Jinchurrikis, by cooperating with the tailed beast, are able to take the PREFERRED FORM of the Natural Energy... WITHOUT it being permanent. Naruto is the ONLY Jinchurriki that we know of that CANNOT control its beast.

Sage Mode, Balanced: Only Naruto's eyes change.
Sage Mode, Imbalanced: Naruto can not use Natural energy.
Sage Mode, Out of Control: Naruto will turn into a frog forever.
--- Important --- What this means, is that if a Human tried to use Natural Energy, he will turn into a animal. I believe that the 9-Tailed Fox won't let that happen, and Naruto will eventually realize this and blackmail the fox.


What I see happening, is Naruto will go and speak to the 9-Tailed Fox. This time Naruto won't be asking the fox for help. Instead he will end up threatening the fox into submission.

Dialogue:
Fox: So you finally realized that you need my power because you are too weak?
Naruto: Yeah right! Maybe when I was younger, but I am no longer a child. I am a lot stronger now!
Fox: You are nothing without me, you are a worthless pathetic fool.
Naruto: Shut up! You made me hurt one of my friends, and I will never let you do that again. That is why I refused to use your power. And now I have become strong enough to fight without you.
Fox: Hahaha... Is that so? So then... why are you here?
Naruto: I have something I want to say to you.
Fox: Ha! And what is that?
Naruto: We both don't like that fact that you are sealed within me, but we are both stuck together. You already know that if I die, so do you. Right now we are both being hunted by the Akatsuki, and if they capture me, they will force to to do everything they want you to do. Right now my friends are in danger of being killed by the Akatsuki, and I will do anything to save them.
Fox: So you want me to lend you some of my power again?
Naruto: No, I am actually telling you, that you no longer have a choice in the matter.
Fox: Hahaha You actually think you are strong enough to make that kind of threat to me!
( ** 9-Tails growls and chakra bubbles start coming out of the gate ** )
Naruto: Hell yeah! Just watch what power my new training has given me!
( ** 9-Tails gets angry and the chakra bubbles intensify and start to surround Naruto, to take him over **)
( ** Naruto begins to meditate to gather Nature energy, but something strange happens. The chakra bubbles start to swirl around him. The Fox becomes startled and and confused to what is happening. He tries to pull his chakra away, but it can not. Naruto opens his eyes in Sage-mode and stares down the 9-Tails!)
Naruto: I told you, you no longer have a choice in the matter! So I'm telling you that you are going to help me to save my friends. And if at any point you decide to prevent me from doing so, I will just gather energy from the environment, and risk both of us turning into a frog statue...

ALSO!!! I THINK THAT MY AVATAR IS WHAT NARUTO'S EYES COULD LOOK LIKE

As for Rasenshurrikan... if the 9-Tails can heal a huge stab wound from Chidori, it can heal slices from Naruto's technique... think of Naruto in the Kyuubi cloak, making rasengan when fighting Sasuke... its all possible.

OMG Finally somebody thought of that. I have been saying this since the beggining of naruto's sage training: Naruto should use natural chakra to his advantage by using it to also control the fox.

I have had that same theroy in a lot of my other post. I think it will happen very simular to that but i think the relationship will be diffrent. I believe the fox has respect for naruto now, he has said release to seal from the outside door and i will give you all my power. its his spirt.

now i have believed that the sage arts were the key to balance with the 9tails. the naruto and the fox must learn the correct flow level.

i also like the idea about what his eyes will look like. with the toad and fox marks

Fukasaku doesn't really have existing knowledge to teach him, but he is there to help him discover new ways of doing things. I wouldn't say he's worthless at all. I have a feeling that after all the sage mode work is done, Fukasaku will start with, "And now the next stage in your training is...[key scroll toad appears]" That's just my view though.

i have to agree with you here..
i think kishi wants to make us think like naruto will be arriving soon enough in konoha but then suddenly something else pops up..

in my eyes naruto isn't even needed in konoha at this moment.

Team Gai is on the way to konoha aswell so that shud be enough back-up.

I think he pulls the nature energy out of the outside world because the Fox's chakra is dangerous reduces his life span, and he loses control over himself not being able any more to make a difference between friendes and enemies. That's why jirayia told him not to use it, and Naruto says he will never resort to the Kyuubi again (after he hurts Sakura). The fox wants to take control of Naruto's body, thats why its dangerous.

In sage mode he stays the same person, perfectly conscious, and his life span isn't reduced at all.

Sage-Mode only gives him a constant increase in power, if he has Fukusaku there to constantly gather it for him... otherwise he can gather it to a certain point, and it will be used up in a short ammount of time. Fukusaku said that Sage-Mode would help him recover his Spiritual and Physical energy much like the Kyuubi's power would...
Naruto has the ability to control the Kyuubi's energy, as seen in the last anime, it was the first time we saw him using the Kyuubi eyes, but they were Blue instead of Red... so you're wrong when saying that by using the Kyuubi it harms him and shortens his lifespan... it only harms him when Naruto is unable to control the Kyuubi... During training he was utilitzing the Kyuubi's power... that why when he was overcome by the Kyuubi cloak, he went straight to 3-Tails... and he now has control over the Kyuubi up to 2-Tails... In theory, if he is able to control the Kyuubi up to 5-Tails, and keep his eyes Blue... then he will have complete control over the Kyuubi and ALL of its power...
Don't be mistaken... when Naruto says he doesn't want to use the Kyuubi power... he means that he doesn't want to give into it having control over him... he admitted to letting the Kyuubi take control of him to go into 4-Tails to kill Orochimaru... but Naruto learned that by doing so... he risked the life of Sakura... he won't ever give into the 9-Tailed fox again...
