I've seen quite a few people question the quality of Naruto movies and quite frankly some believe they can make a better one.

Now the question is:

What components would make a good -scratch that - a great Naruto movie?

well written relevant plot - most(all I've seen) Naruto movies have a mediocre plot structure where it has no connection to the manga. Standalone plots are hard to get behind and hard to fit in an 1 and a half hour movie(anime adaptations only, obviously many movies are done in 1 1/2 hour and done well but trying to tie in to a massive work like Naruto means pacing like Marvel does, they tell parts of a whole story with each movie yet have a core to focus on throughout the movie)

Lasting characters - How much can you and how easy is it to get behind characters you know are going to be gone by the end of the hour? Utilize an existing character or have a plan to incorporate the new character into the story(which can't happen now)

Limit the size - think of the movie as an 1 1/2 hour episode, not everybody can fit into that story time, don't force them. Some of the movies feel too cluttered with cast.

This last one is just a personal opinion but turn down the Michael Bay dial. Not everything needs to result in massive explosions.

Naruto not whining about the moral of the day for half of the movie.

Pretty much everything he sair, with extra attention on point 3:
Studio Pierrot, we know that movies are mostly a cash grab and fans love fanservice...
But seriously: calm your tits. Just because Gaara, Shikamaru, etc. are fan favorites, it doesen't mean they HAVE to be on the movie...
With that se run on the Spiderman 3 problem: to many characters and se stop caring about them.

I dont get how his eyes are sealed, there was no sealing jutsu placed on them :(

His eyes are not sealed. Even though his body was the perfect host for Kaguya, the transformation into her rekt his body. His eyes are very pale due to lack of chakra.

It's just the way his eyes were drawn - to show that he's been weakened. He's not blind, neither have his eyes been sealed. Lol
