The one i love is far from me, a distant figure, a memory. A kind and gentle love is she, but all that love is not for me. What do i do to make her see; that i am the love that haunts her dreams.

Her voice is sweet and warm to hear, it gives me joy,i cannot bear. For what it is that draws me near, it is her smile; that makes it clear.

But she is an angel, a shining light, and i am the darkness that has no right. I am not the one, you meant to love, for you are the one who's high above.

A love like yours is hard to find, a love like that was never mine. A dream is all that i will hold, a story that is left
untold.
