Interestingly enough, even though almost everyone has said (and will say) truth, we all lie to ourselves (and others) so frequently...
People say painful truth, but look at how people respond to media. People are always more apt to believe a convenient lie. Such is politics.

Acknowledging something is best doesn't necessarily mean the people doing the acknowledging live by it.
