A clever foreshadow?

I was reading an old chapter and noticed this:

Omoi worries he'll be captured, held hostage, subjected to torture and forced to fight his friends through manipulation. Sound familiar?

To me this sounds just like what happened to Obito. He was participating in a war, second world war I believe, and was essentially captured and held hostage by Madara. In addition, Madara messes with his mind (something Omoi foreshadowed perhaps?) and directly caused him to later fight his friends.

Sounds way to similar to me to be a total coincidence, good job Kishi!

How is this a foreshadowing? Its common thing that happens to POWs.

Hmm perhaps, but most importantly, Omoi expresses fear of being manipulated in order to fight his friends. Aside from edo tensei's, I don't think anyone other than Obito experienced such a change from being manipulated by someone.
