A "change" for Naruto?

I like your theory but Naruto has Plot No Jutsu on his side. Its his ultimate jutsu, so his death is very very unlikely.

After seeing tons of symbolic representations regarding Team 7 & the Sannin through at the series, I noticed something that might hint at a possible "change", if you will, regarding Naruto & Sasuke.

If you go to page 11 of chapter 635, Orochimaru says "People change, either that or they die before they can", talking about Jiraiya. After that, Tsunades adds if Orochimaru might have changed Jiraiya would still be alive. But, what caught my attention was Orochimaru saying " In that case, then *HE* might have changed" still talking about Jiraiya.

We all know that Kishimoto made Naruto and Sasuke's characters to resemble Jiraiya and Orochimaru respectively.

Now given Sasuke's "change" to protect the village as opposed to destroying it, does that hint at a possible change in Naruto? Or possibly Naruto's death if Sasuke does not change as he said he would?

i didn't say that he would die. i simply asked if anyone thought this dialogue between Orochimaru and Tsunade hinted at a possiblity.

he didn't say anything about him becoming evil, he just said do you guys think naruto will change in anyway. changing don't mean u automatically turn evil, him changing could be him having an epiphany and looking at things in a different way

What I would like to see, but probably won't happen of course, is that Sasuke turns the Shinobi world against the Bijuus again.

All of Naruto's work to be recognized would've been for nothing. Sasuke would want to kill Naruto and by some method try to eliminate Kurama. So Naruto would have to live as a rogue ninja trying to stop Sasuke with his most trusted friends as allies (the rest of the Konoha 11, Tsunade, Bee,...)

But like I said it probably won't happen .

Yes a change will happen to naruto, we have proof of it aswell.
When sasuke said he wanted to kill the juubi by leaving the fire on it naruto was shocked and didn't like what he heard.

Sasukes intentions are good because the current ninja system is based on the bjuu balancing the powers. But naruto has met all tailed beasts and said he would unite them just like bjuu said the so6p said will happen.

Naruto by the look of things won't have any alliance to a single village and will be outcast abit like superman to the world.

Naruto will change, and why does everyone think hokage is anything important for naruto now he's bejond that and he knows he has greater responsibly than simply watch over one village.

It actually makes more sense that sasuke watches over konoha, the first uvhiha to be hokage, it would bring about a change that konoha needs. Abit like how the frist black became the president of America, it holds greater meaning for future generations.

If Orochimaru had changed, Jiraiya wouldn't have spent all his time running after him. The two of them could have worked together to defeat Pain and Jiraiya would still be alive.

If Sasuke had truly changed, Naruto wouldn't have to run after him anymore. But he hasn't -- as evident in chapter 634 where Naruto tried to admonish Sasuke for trying to kill the bijuu. Even though Sasuke claims to have returned to Konoha, him and Naruto are still not on the same side. So either Sasuke will change for the better (truly this time) or one of them will die, according to Orochimaru.

It's actually an interesting idea, I could see the village siding with sasuke to destroy the bijuus, naruto would obviously be against it but I believe shikamaru would back sasuke up. Destroying the bijuus would end the power struggles and would begin to change the dynamics of warfare. In the naruto verse it's the equivalent of destroying the possibility of weapons of mass destruction; chemicals, nukes, antimatter etc... However naruto would naturally side against the village so it comes down to the two ideologies: practical vs. humanitarian. In any case I could actually see sasuke becoming homage and naruto leaving the village, but there are so many possibilities it'd be nice to see a fanfic about this. And as a side note I think Sakura will choose to help naruto however sasuke will use reaaoning to gain support.

I like this Q but change does not have to be good vs evil , naruto has change but not waiver hebas gone from bringing sasuke back to saving his village to stopping evil so his priority has change because he stopped been selfish his more a teen player and believes more in himself and the whole naruto movement has changed a lot characters thru the series. Go back to what itachi told naruto then read what he told sasuke b4 he ascended. Even though orochimaru is waiting for sasuke path naruto is the person that would eventually change sasuke

What it looks like is that Naruto living or dying is riding on whether Sasuke manages to change. I can see how Orochimaru and Tsunade's conversation is starting to set things up. If Kakashi dies it reinforces the idea further: If Obito changed sooner, then Kakashi would still be alive... . Then there is always the possibility that the rule will be subverted.

Naruto said that he'll never change (and never be trash). When Tsunade told Orochimaru that if he had changed sooner Jiraiya would still be alive, Orochimaru said that Jiraiya also would have changed. If Sasuke changes so that Naruto lives, Naruto will change, if their conflict follows the same rules.
