A "change" for Naruto?

After seeing tons of symbolic representations regarding Team 7 & the Sannin through at the series, I noticed something that might hint at a possible "change", if you will, regarding Naruto & Sasuke.

If you go to page 11 of chapter 635, Orochimaru says "People change, either that or they die before they can", talking about Jiraiya. After that, Tsunades adds if Orochimaru might have changed Jiraiya would still be alive. But, what caught my attention was Orochimaru saying " In that case, then *HE* might have changed" still talking about Jiraiya.

We all know that Kishimoto made Naruto and Sasuke's characters to resemble Jiraiya and Orochimaru respectively.

Now given Sasuke's "change" to protect the village as opposed to destroying it, does that hint at a possible change in Naruto? Or possibly Naruto's death if Sasuke does not change as he said he would?

That was just dialogue from Orochimaru and that guy is as crazy as they come, Naruto is very unlikely to die, its rare that in Shounen the hero dies.

i didn't say that he would die. i simply asked if anyone thought this dialogue between Orochimaru and Tsunade hinted at a possiblity.

Agreed. I doubt it's happening.

If Naruto dies and Sasuke becomes Hokage I'll be convinced that Kishi's crush on Sasuke has overtaken the plot.

But honestly the only change I see coming is Sasuke's views as instead of hating Konoha he seems to be changing to the idea that anything that's a threat to Konoha should be destroyed.

And the change in Naruto is he's beginning to see things differently and see that Sasuke might be to far gone.

I think that Naruto will die a hero. I kind of hope that this happens because it would just be a good way for the series to end. A lot of legends end with the hero dying, and that imortalizes them. Look at King Arthur.

Main characters die all the time.
Examples; Harry Potter, Gandalf the Grey, various members of the X-Men - some of which die repeatedly (Xavier, Jean Grey, Scott Summers), Neo & Trinity, Aerith, Zack Fair, Romeo & Juliet.

Makes it more epic. Although it's not so permanent in naruto-verse, and there seems to be a second chance for more than a few to be brought back by some convenient use only once jutsu.

I wouldn't be surprised if Naruto died in the last episode/chapter - in some way that saved everyone, or even just Sasuke. Would fit the pattern.

But anyway - I get what the original post was indicating by way of a possible theory concerning the Sannin. Seen more than a few hints there in that last chapter.

Most of those guys came back to life anyway so they don't really count.

Every time a action book or manga comes out everyone says the hero will die in the end and then he doesn't.

I think Sasuke will die, I mean if we talk this way, in everyteam that has been a parallel to team 7 ( the sannin and team Minato) someone has already died. Team Minato= Rin. The Sannin = Jiraiya. It would make more sense if Sasuke died if this parallel was like this.
