This is a quote from Sasuke that is going to be in Naruto Movie "The Last" and does this sound sorta out of character for Sasuke? I mean not only is he protecting someone, but he is doing it on behalf of someone else. I mean who can we really say Sasuke is obligated to enough to protect someone in their behalf. Did Sasuke become a nice guy or something?

What is your opinion of this?

I think the word protect is meant to throw you off guard. Because after he said protect in that sense we automatically assume he's talking about a girl. That is very out of character for sasuke. I have a feeling the villain in the last will be targeting a specific person possibly Kakashi if he becomes hokage.

I think it may be Kakashi as someone pointed out that he referred to the person like he does Kakashi or something like that. I'm really not a fan of that, I think it'd ruin his character if all of a sudden he's a completely "good guy" again and just returns to Konoha because Naruto manages to TNJ him.
