9th and 10th Nakamas???

The reason i never counted luffy was cuz luffy said he was gunna get 10 nakamas. He didnt say his crew would have 10 people in total he said he was gunna get 10 guys so it doesnt include him.

So if this is meant to be the theres 2 more people left to join. You never know maybe theyll be more than 10 but now that ive seen peoples comments in the thread im convinced the last 2 will be vivi and jinbe. Cuz those 2 promised to join



I already stated that her purpose would maybe be cleaning. But it could turn out to be something we didnt expect or nothing at all. Did you expect ussop yo be the sharpshooter of the crew? Did you expect robin to be the history teacher of the crew? Hell what purpose does zoro fulfill crew wise besides fighting? All he does is sleep, train and gets lost. You arguement on asking what point would she serve is invalid.

2 years ago compared to all the strawhats she was weak. But that was 2 years ago and theres alot of possibilities that she gotten alot stronger. She could be a df user, use the 6 powers of cp9, haki, have impact dials, became a swordsmen, a sharpshooter or learned fishmen karate. But anyways even if she was still weak as shit she would find a way just like ussop and nami who werent physically strong as the others always found a way!

Her saying she would join next time asked is no different than jinbe promising he would join next time asked. So if what she said was symbolic than what jinbe said is also symbolic. But if jinbe is meant to join because he promised than vivi is also cuz she promised too and before jinbe did. You arguement about it being a symbolic is invalid

Yea well judging by somethings said like the old supernovas were making names of themselves while luffy and sh were training and that kidd sunk 2 of Moms ships, i figured the supernovas gotten pretty strong. But eh you wanna underestimate em ok. Cuz luffy is just gunna go to NW with no problems or conflicta and make the story real boring huh. Thats what you expect

And besides theres more than the supernovas, theres the yonkos, marines and some more crazy stuff we dont know yet.



Actually the whitebeard crew werent weak, maybe weak compared to the commanders but thats cuz the commanders like marco and jaws were strong as hell. So you expect marco to abandon his crew to join luffy? Really?

nah not happening she only join the BW just because she want to save her country and he has no reason to join SH yeah they are friends and the SH pirates consider he as their nakama but a princess joining pirates crew will make the WG attack arabasta :shrug:

I could also point out that them being numbered up to 9 Members on their return to Sabaody is not a coincedence or to merely show who came first, second etc.

No, if this is meant to be only 1 member is left to join.

After further consideration, I can only see another person joining not 2.
I don't have any predictions on who it might be. I think they'll create powerful allies in the NW, so they don't need to go beyond what Oda has already put forward.

I still think Silvers Rayleigh will join, if at all temporarily. He has the experience in the New World. Luffy likes him and has his respect. He is pretty powerful and can teach the crew other stuff as well. And he is the older person/mentor the group kinda needs. The strategist if you will.

Doubtful.

He's not coming back to Piracy, he's hinted at that plenty of times.
As an Ally, maybe.
As a SH? Never.

He suggested the idea of 2 Year training, it'd be a waste if he joined them.
And the story would go stale if he did join them, even temporarily.

The Govt. has always been aware of him.
But they're more worried about Active Pirates while keeping an eye out for those old Legends.

His motives are still unknown.
Him joining the SH is pretty... How should I say this... Wishful.

Him going to the NW for some reason, whatever it may be is possible.
But him joining the SH just to get there is not a smart idea if you know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure no one wants that, but consider this.

From Chapters 100 to about 513(before they got separated)
They got 4 New Nakama.
That's from the entrance to the Redline or from the 1st part of the Grandline(Redline to Redline)
On their last leg of their journey, I don't see why they would need to add more than 1 since they trained for 2 years.
But if it's not Jinbei, it will most likely be a new character we don't know about.

its highly debatable whether 1 or 2 spots left..he did say at least 10 nakamas..and he was looking at his 2 hands (10 fingers) then and maiden island when jinbe was tellin him to stop crying over his loss and live for what he has left he was counting his crew with his fingers (10). and u've also point out a good reason for 9

i think honestly it could either be 1 more or 2 more.. but if its 1 more than i doubt it'll be jinbe or viv. but if 2 more than i strongly believe it'll be jinbe and vivi..

if it is 1 and 1 only i do hope its a fishman or a mermaid, just because of the power that has been displayed with them summoning fishes to aid them and fishmen karate. maybe Hachi will join them in the last second like Robin did.. idk.

thats my only guess but anything can happen.. one thing for sure the next memeber has to be considered to be some type of monster.. have anybody noticed that each member has been described in some point in the manga as some sort of monster or some type of horrible person.

Jimbe will definetely join...about the 10th Nakama: I think we don't know this character yet, we will meet him randomly. It would make no sense to let someone join we know since hundrets of chapters, other pirates like some supernovae and maybe some Whitebeardpirates will probably make a big alliance the SP to fullwill that what (I forgot the name...) the old Nakama of Roger, that was on Sabaody Archipel with Rayleigh, predestined.

Without assuming that she miraclously jumped from being slightly stronger than a fodder to someone who can fight against new world pirates in just two years while helping rebuild her country, what do you possibly expect from her? Devil Fruit? That's kind of an asspull and it wouldn't help her much unless it's some hax fruit which would make it even bigger asspull and that would be just stupid. Alabasta's strongest fighers were low/low-mid tiers at best, she's not going to become stronger training with these guys.

We don't need another weak member dragging along with Straw Hats. Whoever it's going to be he/she will be around Jinbe/Brook/Franky/Robin level.
