Hinata represents nothing on Women's day: she's the shy, submissive, damsel in distress, not independent woman stereotype. I can't support that.

If you have nothing to say, don't comment, or just skip the thread, or create or your own thread where you can mention Hinata as much as you want.

Good thread Vulpini, props for mentioning the real women. I'm glad you didn't mention the one who's sole objective in life was getting noticed and becoming a housewife. To mention her alongside real women would've degraded this thread.

Not necessarily for that scene, even as a child she stood up for herself and beat down those that tried to bully her. She wouldn't let being an ousider get in her way or stop her from standing up for herself. She never let being the 9 tails Jin or being it's host get in her way or get her down. The only reason Minato was a great Kage was because of Kushina and others as Itachi put it. Even though she was dieing after the 9 tails extraction she still cared enough and was willing to take the 9 tails down with her to protect her family. And as a mother she took the 9 tails claw to protect her child not worried about her husband over her child's safety.

We csn understand why Hinata shouldn't be in this thread. Being a woman isn't a good enough excuse in Hinata's case, but Kushina deserves to be in this thread for the above reasons.
