8th Gated Gai is at least equal to Tailed beast mode Naruto [manga fact]

Hello guys, I would to talk about hype behind 8th Gate, and how it compares to current top tiers. After the lastest chapter many people believe that 8th gated gai is close, match or even surprass Ten tails host Madara. Actually the sheer alone fact that 8th gate is comparable to Ten tails host sounds laughable and very ridiculous.

^^ Gai was close to use 8th Gated Gai when he along with Kakashi get surronded by Tailed beasts under control of Obito readly to launch 5 TBB at them point blank.

^^ BM Naruto easily replied all of TBB at the same time, which looked like he just used sheer amount of speed to do that.


Many people also have short memory, as They forgot how powerfull become BSM Naruto:

^^ SM Hashirama compared his own chakra amount to Naruto then corrected himself that Naruto has much more raw power due to Nine tails chakra being mixed with his own.

My top 5(excluding Sage, his mother and Edo Tensei)

1. Ten tails host Madara
2. Ten tails host Obito
3. SM Hashirama/ BSM Naruto
4. 8th Gated Gai
5. EMS Sasuke(Bm Naruto)

Makes sense. Good use of logic.

I mean, regular Madara plucked out Kurama like it was a cake walk. Gai's handing Madara his rear end on a silver platter.
But regardless of who wins, the person opening the eighth gate dies. So it doesn't really matter either way.

I guess you missed the surprised looks on madaras face and him saying he wasn't this excited since fighting hashirama and that was in Madara was weaker, that alone is proof Gai is on another lvl than Naruto and Hashirama atm. You shown naruto rasenganing obito who is weaker than current madara and he did that thanks to tobirama. You also forgot night elephant gai used which madara couldn't move.

in short: SM Hashirama >= 8th Gated Gai >= BSM Naruto

or 8th Gated Gai >= SM hashirama >= BSM Naruto, even taking the most generous version fro Gai he would be only slightly above SM Hashirama, but serious Ten tails host Obito anihilates him med diff, at the most, while serious Madara jin could destroys him low diff.

Gai has only chance against not serious Ten tails hosts... but only for brief moment to keep up with them, while they can test their abiltiies.

Face the reality, In front of Ten tails hosts's overhelming power nothing expect teamwork of the strongest good guys matter.
Just wait and see as in next chapter Madara get serious then finish Gai in no time.

your list is pretty spot on but i tend to put gai in the top 10 but not top 5 because anybody in top 10 could push him to the 8th gate and that counts as an automatic win for them because he dies automatically and some of the top 10 shinobi could beat him while he's in one of the lower gates before he goes into the 8th gate...but nonetheless he is top 10


also i do not agree that bsm naruto= hashirama...mokuton > bijuu power

it wouldnt make sense for a shinobi that has mokuton to be equal to someone that has bijuu power, i dnt think hashirama would need to go into sm to beat naruto...hashirama has too many jutsu to subdue and neutralize naruto's jutsu and naruto would lose chakra from using jutsu and from mokuton chakra absorbing abilities...im almost certain naruto and sasuke are equals and are right under hashirama and ems madara but they are just 16-17 years old they will surpass everybody soon or later...

technically gai would have died in his 7th gate form but minato saved him from the black orb so if it were not for minato intervening then u nor i would even be able to see the 8th gate power and minato saved gai again from several black orbs which if they had hit would mean gai would have only hit Madara that 1 time.


then we have to take in mind madara said " can u still dance? do u have more techniques?, and i want to have some more fun "... those can be interpreted as madara toying around with gai just to see the full extent of the 8 gates power but...

they have both Pushed The Jùbi Jins to a Limit where they had to go serious. But Gai did the MostSTuff alone wasn't it for the last part, thats why i Put Hima bove BSM nardo and Because he has More raw power next to TBB for naruto.
