I think if Gai got to those levels he would be more like punching holes in people rather then increase in any type of ninjutsu. Way I see it, your basically ripping your life force apart inorder to destroy your enemy, so it seems like a combo of 3rd raikages lightning shield and FTG. Meaning he's here, then he is a bloody mess over there with 50 dead S ranks in-between. Or if kishi has a sense of humor he will just explode.

i think the opening of the 8th gate gives you an insane possibly the most powerful taijutsu ever cause if you think about it
6th gate - allows MORNING peacock
7th gate - allows DAYTIME tiger
8th gate - allows (Night time er Evening) + (insert badass animal here) = MOST DEVASTATING TAIJUTSU EVER... Then unfortunately... Guy dies

i think the 8th gate will be used to defeat Tobi. Maybe guy will hit so hard and move so fast it will be strong enough to hit tobi before he can dematerialize and be strong enough to take him out completely. Or maybe guy and lee do double 8th gate.

Well the fight's not over. Most of the fight has been centered around Naruto but now he's weakened a bit. I think we'll see more out of them.
