8th gate let down

I know we are all egearly waiting for Gai to reveal his 8th gate:Gate of death and therefore his death.

so far all his gates have increased his speed and strength exponentially

but as we all remember from his one appearance he summoned a turtle

though unlikely could the 8th gate be just a defence+strength boost as by that gate does he need to be any faster?

but more likely it will either be a flash of light so we don't see it (sort of off panel) or a major let down

what are you the poster's, the trolls and sane people of Naruto base think is going to happen with the 8th gate (and hopefully Gais death(if he doesn't die afterwards it's just going to end up as kishi teasing us for years with a forbidden tech which could be used at anytime))

I think the 8th Gate increases all your other jutsu to Forbidden Levels. A simple kunai jutsu might be able to have devastating results with the 8th Gate

i believe with 8th gate he will essentially be in a "stronger than tailed beast mode" level , he wont get any faster but will get a lot stronger and at the end of it will never be able to wield chakra again but wont die

Hiruzen's death was blah, RIP -- I guess. Asuma's death hurt -- I cried. I felt like I was running with Shikamaru, but just couldn't get there in time...Jiraiya's death scene hurt more -- I cried more. I wanted to knock the spears away...but Gai's...that one is going to sting even more I think. Think about it, Gai doesn't have one hateful bone in his body..he just lives for the moment. I'm tearing up now...aaaahhhh!
