6th gate gai matches Bijuus and 7th gate gai surpasses Kamui in speed.

The 8th gate is far greater than the 7th gate.

It's like comparing SS2 to SS3. There is just no comparison. None whatsoever.

If it weren't, then why is Base Gai, along with the entire SA complete fodder compared to a very incomplete Juubi and then all of the sudden, Gai is able almost to keep up in speed with nearly Perfect Juubi Jin Madara( which greatly surpasses a nearly complete Juubi)?

The only explanation is that Gai is millions of times beyond his base form at this point.

He owned that clone and he was basically going to own the real kisame with but used daytime tiger to find the intel, as there were too many messenger sharks. Gai owned the sharks and kismet as well.

As for how strong it will be.

We know this,

in the 6th gate, gai is able to reach supersonic speeds(much faster than sound in air). Don't know how fast the 7th gate is but it looks like its not enough to take on a juubi host.

So thinking the 8th gate would be as fast as time-space jutsu(fast as light).

So gai would be like minato but ridicular fire power at the same time.

If Gai can actually fight the present Madara that would (/will) just be stupid, it doesn't matter if the price is his life, someone like Gai should (if the story would be consistent) have absolutely on chance against Madara

Kishi should have showed the 8 gates against another enemy, that's a problem with Madara, most characters can't have the time to shine and if they would have it would make no sense

Agreed, Hirudora may do some lame jokes sometimes, but he is awesome most of the time. Anyways, the only one that can surpass Hirudora will be the secret technique in the Eighth Gate.

I wonder where you get those numbers, as they are not from the Manga. Madara never went serious against Guy with his Susano'o and if he did then he would use his Perfect Susano'o which is able to change the environment to such a degree that maps have to be redrawn. Morning Tiger may perhaps be something like 5x as powerful as the Morning Peacock, judging by its size, range and damage. ( Though that is just a theory )

Those were Madara's words, seeing how Blue Steam wasn't even able to give Madara any problem what so ever nor did it even do any damage to him is a clear fact that it had little to no effect on him. Red Steam may double the chance that Guy can win, but it will not even place him close to current Madara.
