8 branch technique=tail beast???

does anyone this 8 branch is close or equal to beast beast??? We knows it presents chinese dragon myths and big AF!! Also, for it to have been Oro's stronges technique I'm sure it had some OP ability.

gamabuta was taking on shakaku and manda beat gamabuta and thats stronger than manda so yes its on tailed beast lvl

Can't be said, since we don't really know what it's capable of. If the only thing it can do is attacking the enemy with its teeth, it is definitely not. But there might be more to it, which we will never find out.

What makes it deadly is that Orochimaru can act from one of its mouths, making it hard to dodge in the long run - there are nine beings to watch out for, after all. It's also some kind of protective for him.

Anyway, there are some inconsistencies about the technique. The third databook clearly states that its size is superior to that of Manda - but the version we saw against Itachi was at most as big as Manda's head. Does that mean the size depends on Orochimaru's Chakra level, or is that just a grave mistake made by Kishi?

From the pages I seen it looked 10x the size of Manda, but his chakra levels could have an effect on its ability.

Btw I never noticed that Itachi was familiar with this jutsu

since it said his chakra broke free...does that mean that he has enough chakra to become his own "tailed beast"? like...i'm probably rambling but...ppl always say oro's chakra isn't that great...but apparently it can make something of that size...i'm confused

Oro had one of the best chakra levels in the series, whoever said that knows shyt IMO.

We saw that one of Yamata's heads is as big as Orochimaru. And we saw how tiny Orochimaru looked on Manda's head. One of Manda's eyes is as big as Orochimaru. Now, if we're comparing those two, it's clear that Manda is way bigger. The Yamata no Jutsu he showed against Itachi was at most as big as Manda's head.

Oro had one of the best chakra levels in the series, whoever said that knows shyt IMO.

Actually Orochimaru has a Chakra of 3.5, which is just average.
