6th Coffin = Unknown Uzumaki

Maybe the person in the 6th coffin is an Uzumaki from Madara's time that was top of his clan (think about it. Every clan has that 1 OP shinobi). Madara might know of his ablities. Also it would be nice for an Uzumaki to give Naruto some advice on his heritage and ablities.

Sorry for not searching first. And how is that dumb. The main character is Uzumaki (that should tell u enough). Both Childern of prophacy... Uzumaki.
All 3 Kyubi Jinks... Uzumaki. Sealing techs are boss. How did Minato stop the 9 tails... Sealing tech. how did the 3rd hokage stop the first and second Edo's ... sealing techs. How do all jinks harnest the power of a bijuu ... sealing techs. Do the math buddy.

Not truth, high stamina/chakra and durability/longevity and all of Kyubi's hosts were from Uzumaki Clan ... also they had "best seal techs." Dead Demon Seal etc.

Uzumaki didn't have Dead Demon Seal. The technique was used by Hiruzenand Minato. Not once was it used by Uzumaki clan. You can't say that because it is a strong sealing technique it is from uzumaki.

I will post why it sounds unlikely:

1. Uzumakis are known to be good hosts and one of the best was Mito Uzumaki. There were no mentions in the manga of anyone better and I doubt Kishi would introduce a new Uzumaki that no one heard of or spoke of. It would look bad, like he's just thought about it and the manga wouldn't be consistent.

2. Naruto already knows a lot about his heritage and abilities and is growing in front of our eyes. Another character that we know nothing of coming to impart wisdom onto the main character would not please the audiences. Remember, that manga needs to follow certain cliches and it has done it so far. Look at the war, doesn't it seem waaaaay to obvious that every ninja is encountered by his family member/friend/worst(best) enemy?

3. The Eddy village was anihilated and it seems highly unlikely that if someone as strong as that would be around, Eddy would disappear. Also, remember that the two strongest clans were senju and uchiha. No mention of Eddy, and Madara's fiercest enemy was Hashirama, not an unknown guy from Eddy. Again, as I said in point "1", it seems way too stretched to insert a new character that Kishi never even hinted to exist, just for the surprise. A lot of stuff in the manga would stop making sense and it would be discontinued.

If in fact it would be an unknown Uzumaki, I would immediately lose interest in the manga due to lack of consistency. With that said, I still believe that it's either Madara or Izuna.

EDIT : Not every clan has 1 OP shinobi.

the onli reason his name is uzumaki and not namikaze was to hide his identity...plus the show is called naruto not naruto uzumaki, so i dont see why 1 side of his heritage is more important than the other..

I liked this post a great deal, concise and nicely laid out logical points. I'd rep if I could. I have to spread rep though...

I'm not really sure where the idea that every clan has 1 over powered individual comes from, every clan has a strongest, but that's not equivalent to overpowered. For example, Kimimaro was the strongest, but there are plenty who could defeat him, and he wasn't overpowered even with his curse seal.


Further, personally I like it because it's consistent with my post in another thread explaining why Uzumaki Mito would not be a strong enough candidate for the 6th coffin, albeit she might be a good regular IWR. She's neither powerful enough, nor does she have relevant info on the current Madara among other issues. Who knows how outdated her Fuuinjutsu are, or have been improved upon by the likes of Hashirama, Kushina, Hiruzen, and Minato, just to name a few.

Moderators - pseudo-utopian rep suggestion ( maybe just fun or dull reading lol ):

Moderators, if you added a history term with a step and exponential decay to the rep, it would work much better, and need only one ODE and a few params, even a linear ramping term would be useful to make it so the better posters can get rep faster by recovering faster, for those that care. Personally, I like to give, which is why I propose it.

Embedding it in HTML is probably a huge pain and resource drain that I don't know about or understand. If used, however, the term would step from rep0 to 0 with a rep step size and decay exponentially back to rep0=1 in the time when one isn't receiving rep with a history rate constant.

However, I don't expect this to ever happen because I don't understand your difficulties and obstacles, and you probably already thought this up already and realized the difficulties that I can't as I only code to solve equations and write algorithms. Anyway as a scientist/mathematician, thanks for humoring me if you read this. Thus, this is not a criticism, more like an idea of a utopia I suppose. Further, I appreciate the job you do, as the NB is special.
