First, do you agree that they're the strongest characters? If yes, what is your top 6 in particular order?

Its hard with One Piece, Everyone is all hype. Whitebeard is the only one with feats.

Roger, WB, Shanks and Dragon are pretty much considered the top dudes in OP. after that idk.

Potentials:
Kong: Kong could potentially be above admiral level, as commander-in-chief of the entire marine, with authority above even a fleet admiral second only to the gorosei he is probably incredibly hax, but this is all speculation, since he's in the Marines and holds great authority one can assume that he's way up there.

Shiki: I terms of raw manpower Shiki would annihilate most pirates, even had his own bloody battle against Rogers, largest man fleet to date, but we don't know how he was by himself in his prime, but to command a fleet that huge prime Shiki must be above blackbeard most likely.

Dragon: as commander of the largest anti government force against the world government, he's potentially way up there, we haven't seen him fight yet, but it is possible that he is yonko level to be commandeering powerful power like Sabo. It's pure speculation but he could be way up there but he is considered such a threat the world government labeled luffy a threat just because of dragon.

It didn't as far as I remember. One shockwave form sengoku's hand was able to badly injure the blackbeard pirates, what's even more scary is that it didn't contain any haki.............now imagine what happens if he add koka to his shockwaves..............

I definitely think he can. His durability in buddha form would be one hell of a challenge for shanks who is a swordman( the size). I honestly can't judge who would win though, shanks lacks feats and so does most of the OP people and thus I can't decide

What i don't get is this: Kaido is said to be the strongest creature (probably in pure power), and you say that no one is ready for him (because appearently he's overpowered as hell) but how come he isn't the strongest op character then if no one is ready?

Kaido (i would say shanks but i def think he was stronger with 2 hands tho hes now profiecent at one handed combat i feel kaido is stronger by portrayal... also ppl say oh kaido ran away from shanks so hes stronger but tht is not case, it was a calculated move kaido was going to end whitebeard/kill him, plus was going in marine territory fighting shanks before hand wouldve have left him very damaged seeing as each yonko is close in strength perhaps except blackbeard)

"Currently" I don't believe blackbeard is up there. I feel he's the weakest yonkou but this will change as the series goes on because him and his crew have been portrayed to grow in strength alongside the SH and rest of the worst generation. He's most likely the strongest supernova but for progression purposes I have him at being the weakest yonkou... plus my boy Aokiji is carrying them (well not confirmed)
