I hear alot of people talking about shippuden comming to an end VERY soon, but I just dont see how. There are SOOO many things that can take place, and there are a TON of things that could lead to many more story arcs,plots,etc. You just simply cannot think one dimensional when you're talking about Naruto (In terms of Story Plot) Here are a few.
1.Tobi's 'Eye of the moon plan': Some people seem to have forgotten about this, you really think Tobi is just going to abandon his 'plan for world domination'? Heck no, Tobi obviously is determined to do this. This goal isnt something that can be executed or stopped in just a few manga chapters. Who says that Tobi will stay and fight? He can easily retreat and things could take a HUGE turn in the manga.
2. Sasuke's vengance against The Leaf Villiage: Come on people, its OBVIOUS that Sasuke will stop at nothing to get revenge on The Hidden Leaf Villiage. You think he is just gonna go "Ok, its time to attack the leaf villiage" and then it will just happen? Nope. In order for Sasuke to pull this off, he is going to need power ups, allies (or some genius plan),preparation, etc,etc,etc. And if you think Sasuke will abandon his goal of getting revenge for the Uchiha clan, then you obviously havent been reading the manga U_U.
3.Kishi has a shitload of characters he can develop: Alot of people (including myself) have been "complaining" about how SO many characters have'nt been getting developement, specifically Konoha 11 (excluding Naruto). You think Kishimoto has just abandoned these characters? Hell no, he HAS to be saving the developement of these characters for another story arc. One that would do their developement "justice". If he developes all of the characters all at once, then there wouldnt be many opporotunities for other story arcs,etc.
4.Naruto is NO WHERE near becoming Hokage: We all know that Naruto will become Hokage, so the question isnt if he will become Hokage, the question is WHEN will he become hokage. EVEN IF Tsunade were to die, you really think naruto will just be appointed hokage just for the hell of it? I dont think Kishimoto would be so sloppy as to do something like that. Naruto still has A LONG way to go in terms of developement and other things. This is a trial and error thing, Naruto just isnt going to become Hokage overnight. Just sit back and realise how many things can take place before this happens.
5.TIME SKIP!!: This is actually my #1 reason why I dont think shippuden is ending anytime soon.Who said that Kishimoto had to make a completely different ****ing series just so a Time Skip could occur? Look how smoothly kishimoto transitioned time skips from the original Naruto. So now we are underestimating the genius of Kishimoto? I hope not. Plus, do you know how much another time gap would do for the series!? It would open up new story arcs left to right! A whole new "era" of Naruto can come into play. New antagonist, new allies, new goals of both, etc,etc,etc,etc. Not to mention he could introduce a whole new roster of characters with a time skip.
6.WHY the hell would Masashi Kishimoto just stop!?: Naruto is more popular than EVER at this point, so you can basically say that Masashi Kishimoto is 'in his prime'. Naruto is still relevant in the world of manga, hell its one of, if not the greatest manga OF ALL TIME! You think Kishimoto is just gonna wake up one day and say "well, I think Im done with everything, so Im just going to make Naruto hokage and stop making a shitload of money, expanding the Naruto fanbase, and make millions of people sad/angry that naruto has ended, and stop doing what I love to do even though Im still able to do it." I dont think Kishi has ANY intentions of ending Naruto at a time like this when there is just SOO much he can still do with this EPIC story.
Some of you just need to have faith, and start thinking outside the box. Do some of you realise how much Naruto still has left in it story wise? Just becasue the current story arc has "elements" that insinuate a complete closing in the story, doesnt mean that the story as a whole is comming to an end. Who knows? All we can do is wait and see what the future of Naruto has in store.
