So then first I want you to tell me why do you actually want to learn Earth? Dont give me some bs excuse just tell me why you want to learn it.

I've always found Doton to be one of the most interesting elements, simple because of it's versatility. It can be both offensive and defensive, which makes it very useful. (Note that I'm mainly speaking from experience from the manga, since my experience in the RP is quite limited xD)

I also just like the concept of being able to manipulate the earth itself to your advantage. Heck, what other element can sandwich the damn Jūbi?

Another reason would be the fact that in order to get a Deidara bio, something that I have wondered about whether I should pursue or not, one must have mastered Doton, along with the Raiton element, so I feel that I might as well study that element sooner than later.

Exactly what I wanted.You seem to have a pretty good understanding of the element but I want to see how much you really know.What elements can combine with earth to create a new one? Also what are the strengths and weaknesses of earth? One notably good earth user in Naruto?

Doton+Katon=Lava element
Doton+Suiton=Wood element
Doton+Fuuton+Katon=Dust Release

Aside from that, I don't think anything has been confirmed yet. I recall seeing something about the Magnet Release being a combination of Doton and Raiton, but I'm not certain if it's true or not. I know for certain however that Doton is one of the elements needed for Blast Release, meaning that if I'm correct about the Magnet Release, that element would be Fuuton. (If not, then Doton+Fuuton=Magnet, and Doton+Raiton=Blast Release, although I do feel that it's most likely the other way around.)

The Doton element is strong against Suiton, due to the fact that it absorbs water, and is by nature more solid and heavy, while water is a fairly light liquid.

However, it's weak against the Raiton element, due to the fact that earth is a good conductor, resulting in the ground being fractured by the electricity.

An example of a notable user of the Doton element would be Kitsuchi. Through the Doton element, he has, for example, been able to:

Another example would be Ohnoki, the Tsuchikage, who possesses the ability to use the Rock Fist, Rock Clones, and the immensely powerful Jinton.

I'd definitely prefer performing the jutsu myself and answering the questions, since it'd give me a more in-depth understanding of them all. ^^
