1. He didnt allow Madara to use Wood clones. JJ wood clones are too powerfull so Kishi restricted them.
Madara stopped using them by using limbo clones. Limbo clones> Mokuton clones
2. Bijuu PS. Madara have chakra of all bijuus so his PS would be too OP so Kishi nerfed Madara there
That would make him a huge target if he did that.

3. TBB . Kishi didnt allow Madara as JJ to use TBB
That would take a bit of time to charge up. Also Naruto & sasuke were pressuring him alot.

4. Mokuton. Madara stole senjutsu from Hashirama and became JJ his mokuton would be Too OP so Kishi nerfed Madara.g
Once again, Naruto & sasuke would've countered that easily.
5. Limbo clones. Kishi nerfed Madara badly by not allowing limbo clones to use Jutsus.
That's just how the technique was designed, No "nerfing" there.

6. Rinne sharingan. Kaguyas power of Rinne sharingan is dimensional shifting. Kishi didnt allow Madara to show us His Rinna sharingan power.
It can only cast mugen tsukuyomi.
So in the end Kishi nerfed Madara badly.
His was too OP so kishi didnt have another way to beta him so he nerfed him.

Ha believe me he wasnt restricted at all. He was getting his ass handed to him and he couldnt handle naruto, sasuke and even a freaking plant for crying out loud.

1. Basically, it's just shadow clones with a wood element that can trap an enemy. It's not particularly lethal. This also goes against Madara's mentality of "split power." He only uses them to distract his enemy or to play around with them. He'd never go all-out with clones. It goes against his policy.

2. No proof he could do such a thing. That feat may be restricted to Hagoromo and Sasuke. And before you cry "that's a nerf", giving different degrees of skill for powers is not a nerf. Even if he could use PS as a Juubi Jin, it wouldn't be as strong as Sasuke's biju susanoo, which already had Rikkudo chakra on Madara's level pre biju absorption.


3. We all know he could. He just didn't have a suitable opportunity. He was constantly being blitzed, and it's even debatable that it would be interrupted. Remember how long Obito's TBBs took?


4. No, not really, and he has demonstrated use of it. What do you think he was doing with IT using the holy tree? It's not a nerf if he's actually used it. However, given that the holy tree has been fodderized by Naruto, it's doubtful it'd be much of a factor.


5. No, it's called a writer setting limits. Just because you don't like them, doesn't mean it's a "nerf." It was a new technique. Nothing should be assumed until shown.


6. Straight up bullcrap. He couldn't use it as confirmed by the databook because his chakra wasn't nearly large enough. A nerf is when someone should be able to do something but doesn't. Guess what, he was never intended to in the first place.
