U ain't name 10 people yet I see?
lol wut

btw, some epic overview of chapter I totaly agree with 100,1%

Byakuya dying, and Kenpachi showing that he’s the only one to be winning his fights thus far.

As Nodt has proved that he’s an opponent to be feared; especially with this chapter when we see him using Senbonzakura against Byakuya repeatedly until Byakuya appeared to die, slammed deep into a wall; his sword shattering as he looks on at the defeated bodies of Rukia and Renji, before he asks for them to forgive him. It was a truly sad moment, and the panelling leading up to it really does suggest that he did in fact die: the shattering zanpakutou, the hazy eyes, the final words behind a black background, and then a final shot of his bloodied body… sounds a lot like Gin’s death if I don’t say so myself. So I personally think he is dead, since others are debating it. It we were to go by last weeks ending then I wouldn’t have been too sure, not that anyways. But now? I’m pretty much convinced.

His death will serve as a wonderful plot point from here on out; especially since it will affect a large number of characters (mainly Renji and Rukia) and may later cause them to get a new-found level of power through their vengeance. But as for now, it seems to be switching to Kenpachi who has already defeated three Stern Ritter that are piled on his shoulders, and it doesn’t seem like he’s at all phased by it.

Kenpachi, if anyone, has had he best display of power since the timeskip, having now defeated both his opponent in the prior arc and in this one too with great ease. Sadly though, I can’t see him winning against either Buckbeard or the Second-In-Command. It’ll be interesting to see though, what happens from here.

But basically, Soul Society is royally screwed at this point. Who wants to predict the next shinigami deaths? I’m going for Komamura (which will allow us to see his past with Yamamoto hopefully) and Isane (which could be the cause for Unohana to join the battle).

yea but it's early in this arc an it's byakuya we talk bout.
Talking to you is like talking to a wall. Yes, I know it's early in the arc...but this is the final arc.

Yeah, it's Byakuya. What's your point? That your favorite character can't die?

To be realistic, out of all the Captains Byakuya has gotten the most screen time. We've seen everything he can do and what kind of person he is. We know...basically everything about him. We've seen him fight, we've seen him win, and we've seen him lose. Byakuya's death is nothing to be surprised at. In fact, killing off such a popular character is exactly how you shake the readers. I don't want him dead any more than the next person, but shit happens. This is the final arc. People are going to die. Get over it.

Naw this is how u lose readers...byakuya most likely gotten stronger so no we have not seen all he can do+he told ichigo he was the second one to see his senkei we will find out from him who the first was.

Strong important characters that get a lot of screen u don't kill off like that he is shown to much..

no Nlee is right, byakuya had gone stale, we knew everything about him, his personality, his abilities and to some extent his past. Kubo knew this and as a result he was a perfect candidate to be killed of in order to shake the readers and show how strong and brutal the stern ritter where, he was relativly popular but he couldnt be developed any longer meaning that kubo could get the desired reaction from alot of fans he wasnt wasting any great ideas or suspense by killing him of i mean think about it, he was an old captain and he didnt really have any way to improve on his skills all of which we had seen so its not like there where any cool and unforseen abilities he could reveal this combined with the huge amount of stuff we kne about him and the gargantuan amount of screen time he got to build up his character and to make the fans like him made him a great character to kill off.

Lol u saying this cuz of the byakuya vs urahara thread lol...

But no there is always a way to improve like his white imperial blade how do we kno he knos it's full power..he can only use it for one attack don't seem like something that's at it's peak if u ask me.

Characters who get lots of screen time don't get killed off if they do they find away to come bac so I'm not worried.

Lol an sence when do u kill off an important character an that important charater not putting up a fight at all don't seem right to me.
