lol wutU ain't name 10 people yet I see?
btw, some epic overview of chapter I totaly agree with 100,1%
Byakuya dying, and Kenpachi showing that he’s the only one to be winning his fights thus far.
As Nodt has proved that he’s an opponent to be feared; especially with this chapter when we see him using Senbonzakura against Byakuya repeatedly until Byakuya appeared to die, slammed deep into a wall; his sword shattering as he looks on at the defeated bodies of Rukia and Renji, before he asks for them to forgive him. It was a truly sad moment, and the panelling leading up to it really does suggest that he did in fact die: the shattering zanpakutou, the hazy eyes, the final words behind a black background, and then a final shot of his bloodied body… sounds a lot like Gin’s death if I don’t say so myself. So I personally think he is dead, since others are debating it. It we were to go by last weeks ending then I wouldn’t have been too sure, not that anyways. But now? I’m pretty much convinced.
His death will serve as a wonderful plot point from here on out; especially since it will affect a large number of characters (mainly Renji and Rukia) and may later cause them to get a new-found level of power through their vengeance. But as for now, it seems to be switching to Kenpachi who has already defeated three Stern Ritter that are piled on his shoulders, and it doesn’t seem like he’s at all phased by it.
Kenpachi, if anyone, has had he best display of power since the timeskip, having now defeated both his opponent in the prior arc and in this one too with great ease. Sadly though, I can’t see him winning against either Buckbeard or the Second-In-Command. It’ll be interesting to see though, what happens from here.
But basically, Soul Society is royally screwed at this point. Who wants to predict the next shinigami deaths? I’m going for Komamura (which will allow us to see his past with Yamamoto hopefully) and Isane (which could be the cause for Unohana to join the battle).
