Right on :D Would it be condescending and materialistic to say that this ancestral programming is outdated at this point? Lol Our imaginations are surpassing our physical capabilities.
I wouldn't necessarily say it's outdated. It's our imagination that's driving us forward technologically. Just at what point will our imagination plateau is what I am interested in.

Id certainly say there are still many things us humans do not understand about our world or our universe. Science can only explain as much as the humans studying it can understand or comprehend. People give God, spirituality, alternate/different realities, lucid dreaming, transcendence, reincarnation, etc all bad names or act like they are strictly reserved for drug users when in reality, could we even begin to understand these concepts if presented to us?

Many people bear witness to having experienced alternate realities, time lapses, spiritual beings or glimpses into other universes, having conversations with actual God like beings, angels, demons, other spirits or spirit guides, psychic abilities or honed senses of perception within 5 or more senses, etc and with the growing number of people claiming these experiences is growing every few years. Some of this stuff has even been around sense way before drugs or technology was around to fuzz up our brains.

I haven't personally experienced much of this besides lucid dreaming and having some crazy intuitions i was right about. The more in tune though you get with these things, and search for clues and hints outside of normative society and explore it yourself...you get a much more rich sense of whats going on. I am excited to see what all i can uncover myself, for this aspect of human intelligence is what i find most fascinating..the part we know nothing about lol. We can discover this quickest by learning to tune into our 5 senses we know well, to open up the ability to heighten our 6th and 7th senses. You WILL not be able to recover such experiences though with the mindset of this can't exist or isn't logical or something. We are only limited to the information we are told and can see/get ourselves and one of the biggest issues with humans is giving ourselves too much credit when we haven't even scratched the surface.

Its laughable that we try to "prove" their isn't a God when we cannot even begin to understand what God is. Our concept of him is mostly based around what these "religions" have came up with, but if you read any of the religious texts that have existed in the last 3000 years...these are so contradictory and full of "human" influence its not even funny and you can tell they were written and altered by man.
Sorry, didn't mean to get off on a God topic, but yeah i totally believe there is much more to life and our senses than we can understand...and most we will only learn to understand either by exploring these alternate levels of perception and thinking, or by dying and experiencing what happens in the afterlife. I believe whole heartedly in reincarnation, and the job of trying to become a God like being or a perfect pure soul to be relieved of the hells of certain realities. It is hard to explain, but makes perfect sense to myself personally lol

Wow, This post made me really happy. I'm glad you think that way because for the past 4 or 5 years, I Myself have been going through much of the same self discovery. I have not really been able to do any lucid dreaming or things like that, but I have had some pretty intense meditation sessions where I really get a warm connection to the "stillness" Or just feeling vividly in the present moment. I think for me its a great deal of a spiritual discovery, but also at the same time a mental and physical, because I am experiencing these things and it is changing a lot of the pre conceived Ideas I have had about the world. And It's cool because the topic of god is very much tied into the whole what we can see, and cannot see discussion. A lot of the paradigms set in our civilization are based around what people are Indoctrinated into believing whether it be from a religious or scientific systems of belief.

I see dead people.
that's f*ckin' awesome tell me more
