I would like to think that even Yamato's skill with Mokuton would be enough to take on the Gold Dust Release. Considering Asuma didn't exactly have any special skills, he probably wouldn't last long, but Yamato actually has a fighting chance.

I'd go with Yamato and Asuma, ending with Asuma dead and Yamato very exhausted.

But gold dust wave is of considerable size

And all metalic weapons are going to be rendered useless cause of magnet release

gold dust wave would overpower wood. and he can form a wall for defence. his really only method of offence is capturing them, weighing them down and suffocating them with the dust.
