1-We don't know what the outcome of this conversation will be. So before we jump to conclusions let's see what Kishi has planned.
2-This isn't going to be the end of NaruSaku. Kishi seems to putting of the entire couple thing for while. And don't forget that Naruto hasn't even seen Hinata since her confession, if Kishi was 100% going to pair them Naruto would have jumped on it by now.

Sakuras confession was much more confrontional and toned down, whilst Hinatas was head-on and extremely sentimental...

Based on those two it's sort of obvious which one seems more romantic, and with corresponding purpose.

Sakura got DISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously, there aren't going to be any couples for a while now, what with a war being declared. After their convo is finished, naruto will likely zoom away and stay by himself for a little while. and everybody else will jump on Sakura asking " what the hell were you thinking?!!! You've just made it worse!!!" This convo is likely to be completed in the next chapter, before we get to killer bee's fight. Honestly, the next chapter will probably be extremly decisive and some weird plot twist will happen...I just got a feeling

We do not know shit for sure yet and this is not a prediction thread but still Sakura didn't get owned. It was Naruto who was really mature about all this nothing more. And Naruto realized that Sakura only tried to save him from the burden that is Sasuke. It is kinda true that this looked like more of a fling(yey your, you killed big bad Pain now i like you) but the what is important is the thinking and psychology behind what Sakura said. This is most likely what's going to happen. (not about the deaths, but about becoming like J-man)

If you think about it they are already exactly the same...

1: Constantly being turned down by someone with an attitude problem. (Tsunade for J-man, Sakura for Naruto)

2: Unable (thus far) to save his childhood friend from becoming evil. (Sasuke for Naruto, Orochimaru for J-Man)

3: J-man's lost his sensei (the 3rd Hokage) at the hands of another one of the 3rd's students (Orochimaru). And Naruto lost his sensei (J-Man) at the hands of another one of J-man's students (Pain).

Seems to me that the story is just repeating itself.
