3rd raikage vs Any of the current kages

He'd destroy any of them. Jinton well be to no avail against his speed, and great distances can be covered with it or black Raiton, which he was said to have created. The only one with small chances is Gaara.

Let's take a look at the current 5 kages

Gaara, Onoki, Tsunade, Mei, A

Can A or Mei beat him? Likes are no, probably not. Will Gaara, Onoki and Tsunade beat him? Yes, all of them.

Firstly Raikage is purely physical, he has absolutely no way to hit Gaara or Onoki so they cna countlessly beat on him from eternity in the sky, he dies eventually. Second, Tsunade can heal from anything the Raikage will ever to do her, and she has Katsuyu who will split up to avoid any physical damage. He'll also die eventually.

So he can beat 2/5 current Kages imo

He has no long range attacks, and can't reach him in the sky. He will be killed easily.

Mei may be able to burn him to death(the lava and acid melted Susanoo),

lava didnt and the acid attacked a ribcage susano, not this guys raiton armour

Gaara can't crush him. His sand is not powerful enough. Even Kimimaro withstood that, and he is nowhere near 3rd Raikage.

implying gaara now is equal in power and force to SRA jin gaara...even though its obvious war arc gaara > early part 2 kazekage gaara

-Oonoki wins with jinton,there's no much to say here.
-Mei could surround herself with the acid mist.That would really limit his short range fighting style.Even if he gets near,Mei could use short range attacks to intercept him,such as water encampment pilar or lava release.The third should be really careful or he'd lose.
-Gaara. I doubt he can crush the third if he's using that shield,but that's not a priority.As someone said before,dessert imperial funeral would suffocate the third.He isn't escaping from this.He can't move,he can't use his body.Sealing tags would work too.Don't forget about the sand clones which can be used to catch the third,just as he did against the mizukage.
-Tsunade.This is a taijutsu battle where the raikage has the best defense and offense.But tsunade shouldn't be understimated since she can regenerate herself in order to last so much more and could even summon the Slug to help her.Her main advantage here is the durability.I think that she also has a great chance of destroying the raikage's shield,we all know her monster strenght which broke susano.
-A. No need of explanation. They both fight similarly but A is like a weaker version.

This is my opinion of course.He has the best chance of beating the kages who focus on taijutsu.Against the mid-long range ones(Mei,Oonoki and Gaara),probably not.

He'd likely beat any of them rather easily. Ae, Mei and Tsunade aren't even worth a discussion in my oppinion, since they're too slow, haven't enough offensive power to hurt him or would be outlasted by his stamina.

Onoki is too slow. He could only win if he somehow manages to land a hit with Jinton, or fly up high enough so Sandaime Raikage can't reach him. But there's still Raikage's black lightning, so I'm not sure about this one.

Gaara's defense is probably not strong enough to stop the hell stab, I just wonder if Raikage could dodge those huge sand tsunamis, and if not, if he's able to escape the sands. Oh, I see that I already posted here.

well he has golems and rock clones to serve as a distraction, and if he gets hold of third raikage he can instantly make him weigh nothing, or several tons

Raiton Armor>Ribcage Susano'o? Since when has Raiton armor tanked a mist attack? In fact, A breathed a specific attack just like this: the pollen. and fell unconscious. Acid mist has little to nothing to do with his raiton armor. He would melt.

darui was stated as having inherited third's exact technique. just because we didnt see minato using rasengan before the tobi fight doesnt mean we dont know he had it.
