3rd Hokage is the strongest hokage?

Think of it this way isnt the 3rd hokage the strongest?
he took out the 1st and 2nd while fighting oruchimaru which was badass.
technically if the 1st was prob one of the strongest naruto characters (he beat madara) then the 3rd is crazy strong for taking the 1st 2nd and oruchimaru down.

1st + 2nd were stronger than him ... but because they didn't have mind of their own or use their abilities to full extent, 3rd Managed to pull it off ... and also orochimaru was the one fighting Hiruzen through 1st and 2nd ... in a real fight, 3rd would've his ass kicked if he was fighting 1st and 2nd hokage ...

They were holding lots of things back ...

1) He only used 1 tree attack and a Genjutsu (in Manga, in Anime Tobirama used the Genjutsu) ... But When he was alive, he made Bijuus his bitches and beat Madara with EMS + KYUUBI ...

2) Tobirama didn't use his S/T Jutsu, his own Edo Tensei, or that lightning sword he had in real life ... and in the fight he used only 2 or 3 jutsus ...

They were holding back ... + because they didn't have mind of thier own, they didn't think strategically, and just charged in like naruto.

I agree. FTG is a flawless technique. It doesn't use chakra and if he has more than one kunia your dead.

In his prime, Hiruzen could have went toe to toe, and probably won against any ninja in Naruto's history. In terms of vs Minato and his FTG, I dunno. Hiruzen had the intelligence of Kakashi, the chakra of Naruto, the fighting ability of Raikage and lets not forget his summon Emna.

Iruka stated him to be the strongest Hokage in the village's history(in his prime), and that's including Minato.

Sarutobi has gotten praised by 1 shinobi so far in the naruto manga. Minato and Hashirama have been praised by many including Jiraiya, the 4th Raikage, and Madara who have a lot more credibility than Iruka. We've never seen Hiruzen in his prime so it's impossible to say how strong he was back than.

Minatos smarter than kakashi. He owned raikage. And his chakra is always high because most of his techs don't use chakra. And let's not forget iruka did say that about hiruzen but hiruzen turned around and said minato was the strongest ninja to ever come out of the leaf. and if that's not enough for you then kishi said minato was the strongest. But him and hiruzen share the number 1 spot for the strongest dead shinobi. Both of them are crazy powerful. But minato died before his prime. He was still in his early 20s. If he wouldn't have died who knows how strong he would have become.

Hiruzen has only been praised by 1 shinobi? Just off the top of my head, he's been praised by Iruka, Asuma, Kakashi, Naruto, Kurenai, Gai, Jiraiya, Itachi and the list goes on and on and on.
