3 tomoe Itachi VS Tsunade

Some Itachi fans (even reasonable ones) were saying that Itachi stomps in an old thread. I didn't want to revive it though so I am creating this one. I don't see how Itachi stomps if Tsunade has regeneration on. Some were saying he decapitates her easily, others were saying Itachi is better in taijutsu lol. There were also others that thought Itachi can outlast Tsunade. So who wins?

Tsunade. Why? Because she has more chakra reserve than Itachi due her being part Senju part Uzumaki, the raw power that she has + enhanced with her chakra, she's a medical nin and a regular genjutsu won't work on her because of her knowledge of the brain, perfect chakra control, forehead seal.
Plus she has Katsuyu.
Not to mention the other healing techniques.

i think even with only 3 tomoe sharingan the match is a toss up. could go either way imo. give itachi his MS and he wins with low-mid difficulty. if she can somehow fight with her eyes closed then i would give it to tsunade.

Some people thought it is a joke in comparing Tsunade with any form of Itachi and were willing to say that Itachi wins without even having to use his sharingan because Tsunade was no threat to him at all.

She doesn't need to close her eyes. She can look at Itachi's waste and below. She is pretty intelligent so I think she may be able to pull it off although Itachi is much faster while Tsunade will struggle to get a clear look at Itachi's movements. Tsunade also can't read Itachi's handseals so she has no clue what he is going to do next. However, I believe Tsunade can break out of genjutsu or else if people think Itachi can solo kage level shinobi with genjutsu alone, I guess Kurenai/Tayuya>any kage.

i agree that she can also break out of genjutsu, but i dont see her getting through layers of genjutsus. itachi normally has his sharingan activated and being a master of it i would think any movements from tsunade would be pretty predictable. though databooks say itachi has low chakra, his style is rather conservative with genjutsu. three tomoe sharingan is overlooked imo.

three tomoe will allow itachi to see the image of tsunades attacks just from the slightest muscle tension her body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows itachi to conserve much needed chakra in battle. he will synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before tsunade is even in that spot, essentially allowing him to strike out and hit her before shes even there.

it would be more fair if only tsunade had intel of itachi. you dont want to give itachi knowledge of his opponent...
oh and kurenai/tayayu cant be compared to itachi in genjutsu period.

Me? I am the one defending her actually. There was a previous thread in which people thought that Itachi rofl stomps easily but I was pretty pissed that some reasonable and smart Itachi fans thought that Itachi was way out of Tsunade's league even if Itachi only had three tomoe.

Since Itachi would be too busy trying to behead Tsunade, he won't have the time to dodge.

Yes but Itachi will need to stay mid or long range to beat Tsunade since CQC is too dangerous. Also bare in mind that none of Itachi's jutsus can kill Tsunade so Itachi is faced with a dilemma of what to do.

Are you sure Tsunade stomps? Sounds like you are underrating Itachi or overrating Tsunade but I do agree that she is the clear victor in this match up.

BTW I do know that you made a thread in which you explained that MS Itachi would have trouble fighting Tsunade. I don't think so though since Itachi has been portrayed to be at a much higher level than Tsunade. Tsunade has no counter to amaterasu, Yata Mirror, Totsuka blade and Tsukiyomi. All in all, I don't want to underrate Tsunade but since Itachi has many counters to Tsunade's abilities, MS Itachi stomps even though Tsunade is underrated by many and strong.

even a sannin such as orochimaru was caught in genjutsu. im not trying to use the transitive relation here but when you look at it, orochimaru is very intelligent and also has a 5tier in genjutsu yet he got caught in one, getting his hand cut off. imo i think this is a horrible matchup. im not trying to underrate tsunade like some people do; i believe she would stomp plenty of characters but like i said, dont give itachi knowledge of her; i think thats the biggest mistake.

Actually I think both Tayuya and Kurenai are very intelligent but yeah you are right in the sense that Itachi is on another league here. Yes I do agree that any form of Itachi would give high level ninjas trouble. Itachi will give Tsunade lots of trouble and that is for sure.

I don't really know why Kishi gave Oro a 5 in genjutsu as he has no feats in genjutsu. A no knowledge battle would hurt Tsunade even more since then Tsunade would get trapped under Itachi's illusions even more easily. Also Tsunade has better chakra control and is more intelligent than Oro. Oro has a bad habit of underestimating his opponents unlike Tsunade. Oro was getting owned by genin Sasuke and it was his immortality that saved him.

- She can summon Katsuyu and put a part of this in her pocket so that it could disturb her chakra if she is in a genjutsu

Itachi still has his superior speed but lacks of strength or powerful techniques. Since he has knowledge on Byakuyou, he would most likely avoid close combat and try feinting her with Karasu Bunshins, but i think it would be useless since Tsunade can't die.

More the fight would last long, more Tsunade would be at her advantage since she has superior stamina, and if Itachi struggle, his speed reduces also and it could give opportunities for Tsunade to punch and finish him of.

So like i've said it's a tough fight, but i see Tsunade winning at the end

yes i agree with most of what you're saying @icelerate. i believe Orochimaru underestimating his opponenets is what makes him orochimaru; he knows he's immortal so he isnt afraid to get hit. i dont think him getting hit by genin sasuke necessarily means hes getting owned. even later on in the time skip when sasuke eventually beats orochimaru, he admits it was because oro was sick. anyways im getting sorta off topic..

we cant disregard their character, how they act, their style of fighting, and history of previous battles they have gone through. tsunade is currently up against madara with the kages at her side. compare itachi and madaras style/character, its different. no im not saying itachi is stronger.

Itachi. Tsunade to slow to land a punch on him, on top of that Genjutsu would drop her. We already seen soon as Itachi looked at Deidara & Orochimaru they were already caught in his Genjutsu and with a simple kunai he cut off Oro hand but this time he will cut off Tsunade's head.

anyways didnt mean to make that comment but..

when we speak of knowledge, what is that knowledge that she knows of itachi? is it just that he has the sharingan? that he has fire based techniques?
in this case im guessing she also has knowledge of genjutsus such as ephemeral?

i havent seen tsunade ever fight by looking at someones feet/below face.
i would think her summoning katsuyu would give more than enough time for itachi to pull off any of his fire releases.
