[Discussion] 3 Gripes You Have With Fairy Tail?

1. no one ever trains to get stronger they just get asspull powerups, (second origin, eating different elements, erzas asspull armours. etc)

2. predictable fights: good guys gets beat up, power of nakama, eat their element or any element, or some asspull powerup and then beat up bad guy

3. fan service, a lil is good but there's just too much n*ggas arn't reading a hentai

1-The pointless fanservice. Hiro depends of it for his manga to sell.

2-Having an inconsistent power scaling. Natsu easily lost to Future Rogue and all of sudden beat him mid-difficulty after eating fire.

3-Cheesy pointless drama. Its obvious that the main characters are gonna live. Theres no suspense to it. For exmaple, Lucy, Wendy and Gray in the current arc.

4-Natsu is a horrible main character. No development wahtsoever.

5-The story and characters is weak

6-Lots of wasted potential

1) Alot of manga have ecchi yet doesn't get the half the sales/popularity of Fairy Tail so your statement doesn't hold.. Plus people here are overly exaggerating the fan service.. The only times it was over exploited were chapters 327 and 355..
Unless you meant the placement of the Fanservice at unnecessary parts then that's fine.. In which hardly has there been any in the Tartaros Arc and I don't include Erza's torture scene at that..

2) We must have been reading something different.. F Rogue and Natsu were only stale matting and Natsu was jacked up on Hell Flames from A Flame.. You could've used a better example.. And Rogue was beaten when Atlas Flame blitzed Mother glare and F Rogue to the eclipse gate.. But yes the power scale has been inconsistent

3) so you need to die in order to create good drama? Uhh sense when? You don't need to die in order to create suspense.. None of the drama in Tartaros has been cheesy

4)he's average at best.. And there is more to a good character than development.. You should know that

5) clearly opinionated since alot of people think otherwise

The hate for the series is getting overboard especially when it's greatly improved and is more interesting

1.) Literally the most textbook generic anime i've ever seen.

2.) Degrading stupid fanservice and no respect for any of the female leads.

3.) OPs that give the entire plot and all the matchups away.

Power scaling and repetitive fights. Yet to hear anything about dragons and I think Hiro is obsessed with the number 7.

Also this baffles even now. How could Sting and Rogue who have both a Lacrima and original dragon slaying (Dragon Force at will) still lose to Natsu when he is just a regular dragon slayer? I definitely want an explanation on this. Natsu got second origin but Dragon force is suppose to be OP as fudge. So two dragon force 3rd generation slayers should not have gotten beat that easily by natsu without even using lightning or dragon force. That perhaps threw power scaling out the window and then blew it up.

Bad character developement for Natsu being a protagonist.Here I am not bashing/hating Natsu...just saying U_U.Natsu fanboys can Justify this by saying his character developement not yet started..like when it is already 390 chapters :leaf:

i completely agree with this. was so mad they were beaten quite easily. Dragon force is supposed to be Op yet Natsu beat them both thanks to Nakama power!!!!

i think fairy tail could be summarized with this:

every arc will hype you and then lets you down terribly, fairy tail is an anime for kids, especially little girls who will still appreciate teletubbies and sweet valley high. (and hentai)
