he was also known for his MASTERY of WATER REALEASE TECHNIQUE he can make it powerfull where there no bodies of water.

He is also shown to have great physical prowess and a considerable amount of skill in the area of taijutsu, as well as good teamwork with his elder brother, Hashirama Senju.

Im not saying the 2nd Hokage are powerfull than the 1st Hokage but from the previous hokage's, 3rd Hokage are just lucky bcuz 2nd Hokage didnt use the Space TIME Ninjutsu we all know how powerfull that jutsu was ur kinda like invinsible when u use that.

He IS underestimated by alot of ppl i mean he INVENTED edo tensei and was said to be the strongest suiton user, not in his time, but OF ALL TIME but i wouldn't say hes the strongest hokage...

Hard to say. First of all i didn't knew he could use space time jutsu, and so far i don't know how he used it? Secound, i've never seen him in battle(besides when he was a puppet under Oro, and i do not consider Edo's to be even near as powerfull as when they was when they where alive). 3, conclusion, he could be even more powerfull than the Sage(prove me wrong). He can't be under/over-estimated. By the way, since the anime's just going around making fillers i'd kill someone for 5episodes about the first/sec/third hokages era and their wars and battles.

dude, i think its hashirama (1st hokage) he did well, when he fight Madara and the 9 tails he didnt even died, when u see Minato vs Madara + 9 tails, u know what happens...

Minato is definately the Strongest Kage because Iruka stated that the third hokage was the Strongest of the Kages but he asked iruka to stop talking in past tense because Minato has surpassed him and come to think of it when fighting orochimaru he said that he has to stop the third coffin no matter what this indicates that he is afraid that the third coffin might be Minato
