Wow, just arrive back at home, watched the Australia vs. NZ highlights, and I never thought the game would end this close. Thought Australia was gone for sure, after watching their shit batting performance this morning. But man, that was an impressive bowling display by the Australians, one that gave themselves a good-solid chance to win. It would have been a miracle if they got the final wicket, but credit goes to the Kiwis for their great win.

A great day for Cricket. Yes the total number of overs bowled were just 55 combined and yes the sum total of score was just over 300 but the level of cricket the two teams displayed was on a different league altogether. Easily the best match in this world cup so far.
I wouldn't be surprised if I get to see these two team fight in the finals.

Lel Bangladesh doesn't even deserve Test status given their shocking record in all formats of the game. They are the only major South Asian cricket-playing country to not win a WC. Of course, that may be too high a standard to judge them by, but even not considering that, their records in Tests is outrageous.

Agreed, there players seem to be lazy cricketers who are happy with the spotlight they are getting. They seem to show no intent of improving as a test playing nation. I personally believe Afganistan, Ireland, and Nepal have a chance of becoming great teams in the future.

I doubt that's gonna happen . Indians ,Aussies and English board have destroyed any mean of expanding this game !! There has been talks of 10 team world cup so that means no minnows will be featured in next tournament .

I don't see a reason for Bangladesh to be stripped off of test status though.
