West Indies is too unpredictable these days.
They have talented players and waca will offer bounce for pacers, but Indian bowlers can use it as well.

Ireland are a dangerous side. I actually fear there team in this tournament. Pakistan will need to bowl well to them to get them out. The Irish men put a lot heart in there cricket that's for sure. Scotland seems like another decent side. Almost half of there players play county cricket. I expect them to come good in the near future as well. What really impressed me about them was there fielding. Its nice seeing some lovely fielding.

India's winning streak goes on but why i think, WI could have done bit more at least to give a fight and there was go for the kill written all over it .

Terrible captaincy by Holder in the final moment of the match. There were still 20 more runs to get and one more wicket would have pushed India to back foot. And he chose Samuels and Smith over his 2 premium fast bowlers (3 if you include Holder too). Incomprehensible.

Taylor and Roach had 4 overs and Holder 3, if they've bowled at least they would've taken few more wickets then it will be a respectable defeat .

Yeah totally!. But who cares? Clearly ICC doesn't.!

And about the "next world cup 10 teams thing", don't bother ICC, just get an automatic bowling machine (like the one they use in tennis practice). Then every team can select a 11 member team (all batsmen) and beat the crap out of the cricket ball.

10 Nation Team is not a world cup Period !! Then why do you have Champions Trophy ? Not good for expansion of Cricket !! Mind you Cricket doesn't make much revenue in Ireland and other Minnow Teams .

If Cricket were to expand Olympic Games is the best place . Expansion hurts the monopoly of Aussie and Indian Businessman pockets . Cricket is basically a Commercial sport !

You're right. But, all sport has become commercial and is all about the big bucks now. Why do you think the IPL is so popular among cricket players, inspite of their chock-a-block schedule throughout the year? Lol

The real cricket is Test Cricket , 2005 Ashes was the best sporting event ever. I kinda agree with recent trend in football when they awarded Qatar to host 2022 . Honestly FIFA should fry egg on their face! Blatter and his corrupt cronies must be thrown out .

Completely agree. To simply put, it's destroying the sport. Players like Pollard and Bravo are not playing in this world cup. But hey wait, they will be playing in the IPL!.

^^ Edit: 2005 ashes was and sadly will be the best test series/Cricket I have ever watched.

I absolutely agree about the 05 Ashes series. Freddy Flintoff, Pieterson, Warne etc all created a fantastic atmosphere and the entire series was top notch. Too bad that trying to find matches today with the same quality of that Ashes series is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. :|

Look like their narrow minds can't grasp other things than money .

Yeah ! that's what we gonna get at the end and probably this is not good for teams like Ireland and Afghanistan that have potential to become good cricketing teams and more good teams mean more competition that is good for growth of Cricket .

The best part is Wasim Akram will now shut his mouth completly. The dude doubted Safraz Ahmad before the game. Here is what he said:

Frankly speaking, Australia's tour of India, 2000-01 is the best test series I have watched.
Then comes, Border-Gavaskar 2004-05 series and then Ashes.
India vs Australia produced some really fantastic clashes, probably better than Ashes, because the quality of players both teams had. I mean look at names,
India- Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Laxman, Sehwag, Kumble, Harbhajan, Shrinath...
Vs
Australia-Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting, Martyn, McGrath, Lee, Warne, Waugh.
Too many legends to count.:|
