All these J Cole fans calling me a d*ck rider because I don't like sons album as much as they do. I have listened to as much J Cole as you have and my opinion is comepletely unbiased. These are facts yo. As of right now J Cole is not living up to what he was meant out to be. He is no Nas. He is no Kendrick. He is just J Okay Cole.1. Gods you really didn't listen or just don't know rap music. Rakim(whom J. Cole said in January 28) was born on January 28th. Rakim's MC name was God MC. J. Cole then proceeded to say all those other names aren't God MC's, because their birthdays do not fall on January 28th, like his and Rakim.
2. When did Cole ever say he was the king? He said he snatched the crown, and destroyed it. There are no more kings.
3. You went this deep on my personal opinion. FHD will be a classic. Just because you don't understand what he is saying in it, doesn't mean it's not. GKMC was an amazing album. I have been listening to that shit for 2 years. I said FHD is a breath of fresh air because that is exactly what it is. After this horrible year of rap music, at the end of it, we are all relieved that the God MC has blessed us with some Coleworld music. Just because you fail to see it, doesn't mean it's not a breath of fresh air.
4. Lmao I'll just quote J. Cole here. "You sleeping on the one that you've been dreaming about".
5. Not even going to address this because I already have. ^
6. Quit trying to dismiss my opinion because it does not go with yours.
You said GKMC > FHD because... You said so? Completely dismissing my opinion of it being < FHD.
Now you're saying MBDTF > anything in the past 10 years. So you're saying even greater than GKMC or MNIMN? I personally like GKMC more than MBDTF but as I've continued to say, this whole thing is about personal opinion. I can't tell you for fact that something is better than something else(unless it's obvious like a Kanye Album vs a Ja Rule album).
7 Come on dog... You really aren't that good at listening to meaningful rap. He didn't diss Em, or anyone else besides Iggy. The meaning behind the 'diss' is that those white artist took the sound black people made and have made a fortune off it. Elvis did it, Justin Timberlake did it, Eminem did it(and even admits he did it on Without me). Macklemore took the best rap album over GKMC and as most people know, that was some bullshit.
Again, you don't listen, so you don't understand. The fact that you believed Cole was saying he was going to shoot someone for his watch shows you how in-depth his storytelling ability is. The song is called A tale of 2 citiez. Come on dog... It's a song about 2 different people in the same city and how they perceive life in it.
The first verse is about a kid who grows up wanting to go to school and have a nice family and get a white picket fence. His friend gets robbed at a light by a guy in a car telling him to run his watch.
The second verse is about a kid who wants to push weight and make it out the hood. He robs a kid at a light and tells him to run his watch.
How can you think albums such as GKMC and MBDTF are good when you don't even listen. This leads me to believe you are either a d*ck rider and just jump on bandwagons, or you really just don't like J. Cole.

1) Do not compare J Cole to Rakim. So if Drakes birthday was on January 28th that makes him God MC? So if that trash bin Tyga's birthday was on January 28th that makes HIM God MC? Rakim started everything and J Cole has yet to give us a classic album. No comparisons whatsoever.
2)"There ain't no way around it, I am the greatest" Lol You funny Cole. You funny. *thinks back at how J Cole made a response to the Control verse in TKO Remix and how his verse was overshadowed by Pusha's verse*
3)Yo... no... just no... so basically this is what you trynna tell me....

If so you have never been so wrong. FHD IS AN OKAY ALBUM BRUH
Has it made any improvements to Cole's library. No. He has better stuff on his mixtapes which is why it's disappointing to see we still don't have anything to call a future classic.
4) Guess I'll just quote Riley Freeman here "Nika you gay*
5)Kanye has 4.5 classic albums sooo that quote doesn't mean anything Lol
6)No GKMC>FHD because it's original and it's basically a classic movie in the form of classic music. And yes that's right MBDTF is the best thing released these past 10 years the production alone beats out anything that's been put out this gen.
7)What was meaningful about anything he said in that song. Except for whites winning awards line that song was just full of mediocrity verses. He should have named all those other rappers EXCEPT FOR EM dude has dug himself a grave. Em is the better rapper. Nuff said. Also Nas's Life is Good lost to Drake's Take Care. Why didn't you go after Drake, J.Cole?

Dude wasn't supposed to be talking tough to begin with. The white iPhone rap he was spitting on Born Sinner makes all this big talk seem funny to me yo it's like dude was besties with Drake going out to Best Buy copping each others albums. Now it's all yo I got the crown out of no where even though I always looked up to Drakes style and try my best to do my singing thing on every song. In a perfect world we would get a Kendrick and Push Collab album. Sadly this world feeds on mediocrity and instead we are getting a Kendrick and Cole album.
