Every day the chances of an encounter with extraterrestrial beings greater. Monthly scientists discover new planets outside our galaxy. The famous astronomer Carl Sagan even thought that the universe contains many billions of planets. With such large numbers should be almost impossible, that no other intelligent life exists. Do not think that we perish in a battle with green males. Scientists believe the more likely that ET accidentally destroys our planet

We already have numerous threads about the year 2012 and about the destruction of the earth, though not from this kind of perspective.

What do you mean by that sentence? As I have never seen or heard about a scientist who said or believed something like that. Most of them believe that there is indeed life on other planets, but as in microscopic life and not necessarily a very advanced civilization. I can hardly believe any scientist would say something like that.

I once heard a scientist using this phrase: there are even more galaxies than there are grains of sand on all the beaches on earth So even if you take the most pessimistic view on other life, you still have millions of planets that should contain it.
But with this is meant microscopic life in the least.

this is rather more believeable to many ppl. Especially religous ppl. I think this is more exceptable/easier to cope with then the wolrd ending by a battle with aliens or any thing else for that matter.

Dude, they are using the oldest trick in the book for every documentary: only use things that are benefecial for the subject. Then it always makes sense. They only posted things that are connected to that ridiculous theory and that support it, but barely anything that goes against it while that evidence completely drowns their "evidence" as the ratio of is probably something like 1/1000. But they just posted the 1 and nothing from the 1000.

It's always a possibility as we can never be sure of things in the past, however there are 10 000 more theory's and evidence that make a lot more sense than that O_O

There is a difference between actually believing something and just liking it. I also like the theory of Atlantis and one universal civilization that predestinates the Egyptian, Mayan etc cultures O_O
But that doesn't mean I actually believe in it.
