1. No, all you can do is state "that was anime" to argue your point, but it doesn't change the fact that Kishi has changed the power scaling in the manga between the time skips and more recently has gone all DBZ on certain characters. Part 1 and Part 2 are just terms used to describe the events that occurred before and after the time skip, that is all.

2. You are 100% correct on this one. The word fodder is thrown around far too recklessly.
Itachi is the same from Part 1... Kisame is the same from part 1.. Jiraya is the same from part 1.. Don't see the power scale change. Just seeing stronger people .

Yes, people are getting stronger, but you're missing the point. The ninja you mentioned above all exhibited over powered moves in part 2 that people would have never dreamed of seeing in part 1. What people intend when they say "power scaling has changed" is that pre time-skip, stuff like throwing Kunai around on a rope and igniting it with fire release was deemed as an elite jutsu by many. Back in part 1, doing a back flip, throwing a shuriken and spewing some water would warrant a "wooow that was epic" reaction from those viewing, as they were the highest level of moves/jutsu being shown. That kind of attack in part 2 would be deemed pathetic. Nowadays you just get spirit bomb sized attacks and meteors flying everywhere.

It's most likely down to Kishi not realising how strong he will have to make everyone later on for his plot when he first wrote part 1, and thus creating this gap in "power scaling" that everyone talks about.

1. The whole thing about "Power scale difference" between Part 1 and Part 2.. And especially when its used in the manga.. cause in the manga there is no "Part 1" or "Part 2". Only exists in the anime.
And this "power scale difference".. Don't see that at all.

2. The word 'fodder' being used like a joke. "Tobirama died by bunch of fodders". " Everyone in the war is a fodder ".. "Raikage took on bunch of 10k fodders". o_O. Apparently Elite ninjas.. can be considered fodder without us seeing them fgiht.

Well said sir.

Simply in part 1 we only saw genin fight(for the most part) and saw little of the higher ranks fight. And the genins, were already all higher lv ninja. They simply were not promoted to their higher ranks yet. Look at naruto for instance. He is kage level but still a genin.

And ya people are quick to label a unknown ninja as a fodder, just because they dont posses super powerful abilities, that destroy half a battle field. The only people i would label as fodders would be ones who exist solely to die, and who get killed by a single say kunai to the stomach. Simply people who possess offensive abilities of mogei and the other member of team ebisu.
