2 reasons why I believe Naruto and Sasuke need to be depowered a bit

When was it ever balanced, take away the powers they got from the Sage they are still the strongest ninja alive.

Also it was beaten into the ground that they would surpass their predecessors, that is something that the manga has been big on.

Did you think it wouldn't happen by the end of the manga?

Naruto's dream was to be stronger then the Hokage, even Kakashi commented that Naruto has finally fulfilled that dream.

They can still surpass their predecessors even after getting depowered a bit.The manga doesn't need power creep to set to the point where nobody poses a challenge to Naruto and Sasuke.

Prime Naruto can beat Kaguya. He only needed assistance to seal her. Her body is comprised of chakra entities like the Juubi so of course he can't kill her, but he can wear her out to the point where the only thing he needs assistance with is sealing.

EDIT: Maybe beat was the wrong word, but he can threaten her very highly by himself.

Ok this is how I see it

Kaguya > Prime Naruto

Kaguya > Prime Sasuke

Kaguya = Prime Naruto and Prime Sasuke

DSM Kakashi, Sakura, Prime Naruto and Prime Sasuke > Kaguya

You do realize that we never saw Sasuke use the other Rinnegan abilities because Kaguya would have just absorbed them right.

No, if you pay attention Sasuke still has the Rinnegan, and Naruto still had the mode on after he lost the seal.

Ok this is how I see it

Kaguya > Prime Naruto

Kaguya > Prime Sasuke

Kaguya = Prime Naruto and Prime Sasuke

DSM Kakashi, Sakura, Prime Naruto and Prime Sasuke > Kaguya

How can you think this? Sasuke was only a distraction this whole match.

DSM Kakashi, only happened so that he could save Sakura and get some relevance.

Sakuras punch at the end was for plots sake.

And Sasuke was only necessary for the seal.

Naruto did the real fighting. Furthermore, he was improving this entire match and still beat her mid diff. Without any assistance wouldn't really make a difference, except for maybe high diff.

Let's be honest,Sasuke had a poor showing during this whole arc.He would stand no chance against Naruto if they fought and neither would Madara.

His poor showing means nothing, he is equal to Naruto in the eyes of Kishi, and he will make them near equal if they fight. Madara has both Rinnegan and Hashiramas DNA. If he gets like 4 years to practice this power, he will easily be a match for Naruto, meanwhile, Naruto has shown what he can do with his power, the only thing he could really train is Goudodama versatility.

If he had like 4 years of practicing, Shinsuusenju coated with PS might actually become reality.

Naruto just made bunch of noise and useless explosions, ok ok he did cut her arm off when she had another flashback of all those nude guys.

That's because nobody is supposed to pose a threat to them (or Naruto anyway). I mean he basically beat Kaguya by himself, with minor assistance near the end. Nobody will bother threatening him anyway after he saved the world.

He's supposed to be the second coming of the Sage, the strongest man on earth to bring peace.

But to answer op...
1) The only villain would be Sasuke. Nobody else.
2) Nope, that's only assuming they maintain the battle centered plot. The Last could be exploring the lives of K11, their chemistry with each other, and more on their relationships.

After reading past chapters again I just thought of something:if Naruto and Sasuke kept their Sage power ups then nobody and nothing will pose a challenge for them.This makes things problematic for the Last movie if there is going to be a antagonist.

I personally want the power scale to be balanced.I've not even asking for Sasuke and Naruto to be fully depowered so what's the problem?

There really is no problem. It's just another Naruto fan whining because they don't want to see Naruto lose his "planet busting" powers. If Naruto loses his DC powers then his fans will throw a fit.

As for this thread, yeah, I agree, but I believe that the power scaling has been inappropriate ever since Itachi first introduced the Susano'O.
