Well there's been alot of contradictions and myths in the manga and anime since the beginning and i was thinking maybe the 8 gates leading to death is also one.

The Eight Gates.
The Gate of Opening (開門, Kaimon), located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so 100% of their strength can be used whereas normally, a person can only use 20% of their muscles' strength to keep them from disintegrating. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus.
The Gate of Healing (休門, Kyūmon; English TV "The Gate of Rest"), located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energises the body.
The Gate of Life (生門, Seimon), located on the spinal cord. Allows the user to use the Reverse Lotus. The increased blood flow turns the skin red.
The Gate of Pain (傷門, Shōmon), located on the spinal cord. Increases the user's speed and power. May cause muscle tissue to tear on use.
The Gate of Limit (杜門, Tomon; English TV "The Gate of Closing"), located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power.
The Gate of View (景門, Keimon; English TV "The Gate of Joy"), located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user.
The Gate of Wonder (驚門, Kyōmon; English TV "The Gate of Shock"), located below the stomach. Further increases the user's speed and power. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. Unfortunately, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibres are ripped to shreds, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches them.
The Gate of Death (死門, Shimon), located at the heart. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. Opening this gate assures the user's death shortly after.

In anime One person was able to use all 8 gates and not die, his name is Shinnō because of his medical ninjutsu he was able to heal himself to the effects. Knowing that now that has me wondering can a regular ninja use all 8 Gates and not die.

Despite having little care for human life, Shinnō demonstrated remarkable medical knowledge and prowess without the aid of chakra. With only basic medical tools, he performed flawless surgeries to save people from near death. In addition to the human body, Shinnō also demonstrated great knowledge of the human mind. He had repeatedly shown himself able to understand how people think and exploit it to suit his needs. He used this ability against Amaru, saying that people never suspect the one that saves their life. With this advantage, he is a very skilled manipulator, acting as a kind-hearted doctor for 15 years, while discreetly harvesting a large amount of Dark Chakra from the villagers' hatred with the Zero-Tails. He pretended to sacrifice himself for Amaru in order for her to succumb to the beast's control and release the Dark Chakra for him.
In terms of ninjutsu prowess, Shinnō's skills focused more on his knowledge of chakra and human physiology. He could easily injure a person to the point of appearing dead, using a technique to resurrect the person, even if it was himself. He also knew many Reincarnation Ninjutsu, which he taught to Orochimaru, and a reason why Orochimaru wanted Sasuke to bring Shinnō back to Otogakure, believing that the doctor may help extend Orochimaru's host's vitality.

With his knowledge of Dark Chakra, Shinnō was shown as able to unleash a powerful transformation to take a human being well beyond the normal limitations. By combining his signature Body Revival Technique, which grants tremendous self-healing might, with the Dark Chakra, Shinnō was able to transform into a superhuman body that can freely access his chakra without hand seals or any apparent effort of chakra build-up. This grants him great raw physical strength, demonstrated when he brutalised Naruto with punches that sent him flying all over the room and shattering the rock structures from impact, as well as incredible speed that make it look as though he teleported to Naruto's backside. This form manipulates the understandings of "Destruction and Rebirth" of muscles that makes it stronger to increase the body's strength. He was even able to unleash Dark Chakra in forms of powerful widespread or condensed shock waves or bolts for tremendous internal damage and claimed to be able to freely access all Eight Gates without any drawbacks as long as he still had access to enough Dark Chakra. Upon being injured by Sasuke, Shinnō merged with the Zero-Tails to gain its powers and Dark Chakra, as well as manipulating the flying fortress Ancor Vantian. Thanks to Sasuke's efforts, the Dark Chakra began to cause Shinnō to wither away both mentally and physically, explaining Shinnō's increasing instability as he neared his end.

Anime Character Guren was also able to open up the 8th Gate or something real similar , She spoke of Tenketsu grabbed her heart and stated life or death. If anyone knows what Tenketsu is that's your chakra points in your chakra network ,the 8th gate is located at the heart the gate of death and she calls her technique life or death think about it.

Take a look at there eyes there all plain white after using that technique so that makes me believe she did open a gate . After opening it look how the water repels away from the body in a similar form.

Guren was able to survive after opening up the 8th gate probably because it was a watered down version or bootleg of it, Another reason can be because maybe she skipped the other 7 so her body wasn't crippled or taken damaged like it was suppose to. So what do you guys think If Might Gai went 8 Gate Mode would he Die ???

Orochimaru used RDS release, should have died but didn't, but then again that's orochimaru, the number of times he should died and still hasn't..my point is it's possible so don't be too shocked if something happens and one of the greatest charachters in the manga survives.

I'd like to point out that both Guren and Shinno, who were used as the basis of this theory of contradiction of weather or 8 gates causes death, are in fact filler charecters... Guren is part of a filler arc in naruto and she doesnt exist in the manga, and shinno is from a movie... and as we ALL know... Filler charecters tend to bypass the whole "naruto logic" thing and do whatever the eff they want. Its absurd to create any kind of cannon theory based on filler.

None else can cheat the death like Oro , I just don't see How Gai will survive . Minato , Kakashi and Lee know what will happen after 8th gate is opened that is why Lee is crying that is why Minato said to Gai to no open it. Gai cannot just survive magically after the 8th gate....The only way for him to survie is Naruto to come out in time do something magical otherwise Gai will die.

In order for anime/filler needing to do anything they need approval from kishimoto like seen in last chapter,Raiga & the kiba fang swords were but introduce long before the manga so that logic is flaw it's happen countless of times.

It kinda makes sense. Filler would have to have some info from the author in order for there to be some cohesion in the story line, for anime only viewers. I forgot all about Raiga from Pt1. Isn't he the nutcase who cried before killing people and was super OP with lightning chakra?

I wouldn't be surprised if he survived, wat with the Five Kage surviving Madara's assault and Obito cheating death after using Rinne Tensei. It's pretty clear that Kishimoto gets too attached to his characters to kill them
