he didnt die of old age thats for sure, because when oro summoned him, he looked young.
I thought it was well known knowledge that he died in the first Shinobi war. After his death, the village decided on making his brother the new Hokage. That second part is just me trying to put two and two together.

I've used all resources but Senju's death is still mystery, it's kinda weird but Madara has his DNA, so where's the real body of Senju?

Nobody knows. Maybe his injuries against madara was severe and that couldve halved his life. Or he run out of chakra in a war and got killed by fodders. No different to the 3rd raikage

He died in a battle sometime before or during the 1st ninja war I think it was during the war though
No, it was confirmed in Danzou's flashback that NiDaime along gave Hiruzen the title of Hokage. Kishi originally had both the first and second promote him, way back when Hiruzen died, than changed it later on. So the first was definitely dead when Hiruzen became the third.
