Anyone who thinks 17 is as strong as super saiyan blue doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. Its so obvious that Goku wasn't going any where close to all out on him, he was heavily suppressing his power.
Unless you think Krillin is close to God level too, its pretty simple.

Wouldn't anyone think of what you said is to excuse Goku? Goku didn't go all out on 17? I'm not convinced. I never watched all DBS. Just few episodes here and there. The big events. The important episodes.

#17 asked at the end of the fight if Goku was still nog at full power and Goku admitted to still not having fought at full power (#17 also still held some back btw).
So its not an excuse.

And 17 held too, so I expect the fight will be draw or Goku lose stamina after long while. Such as 17 and 18 were limitless in power. It takes a ridiculous strength to break through androids such as them.

Android 17 was stronger than SSJ Goku and he wasn't going all out against SSB Goku. I agree that it makes no sense for 17 to be close to Goku, but unfortunately Toei is full of garbage writers who make asspulls just to hype up popular characters.

17 wasn't going 100% either and Goku himself said he didn't plan to use ss blue but he did and was putting in some apparent effort which shows 17 is clearly on that level. It's retarded but that is what the anime showed. if 17 isn't even on SS blue level and say at ssj3 level then why did Goku bother transforming? Goku even states Dende was right about being glad 17 isn't an enemy which implies 17 is really around Goku's level.
Just wait for the tournament arc, I PROMISE you they will have 17 fight with opponents on the level he should have no right being. Lord knows what they're going to pull with Roshi lmao.

I doubt there was much reasoning why goku went to blue, People are just reading into it too much. Like when Goku went blue on an out of shape, out of practice krillin who just lifted a few weights lmao.
These eps feel more like filler that the animation stuido shat out to pad episodes and create hype for the tournament. I just hope the manga does is better (which is has been doing over all so far) or it just cuts this crap completely and jumps to the main event.

I believe that both are not going 100% but here I think its like Goku just going about 10% but 17 at 50% to equal 10% SSB Goku power output. If 17 go 100% Goku will be at 20% of his true power and if SSB Goku up his power output to 100% no 17 will not able to match him bcus Goku is to far from 17 limit.
Like say Messi going 5% of his potential to play soccer with school children so those school children have a chance to enjoy playing, take a ball from Messi although we know its impossible for them to matching Messi and take a ball from him if he plays to his full potential

I watched a few YouTube videos trying to figure out all the chatter about 17 and unfortunately he is on Gokus level, its BS and its an ass pull but what can you do.
17 wasn't even the perfect android that Dr.Gero wanted, it was suppose to be Cell. But now all of a sudden Toriyama says 17 has great potential and is now Gokus level of all people by just fighting fodder poachers in the woods?
