Sales are dropping of just every product that isn't necessary to survive since 2008. And Naruto's sales aren't dropping more than other mangas. Many mangas aren't even reaching publication anymore. This was really a bad point to support the thesis that Naruto is crap, really.

Which isn't surprising since Naruto isn't crap at all as far as shonen go.

Sales say alot about the popularity of a manga, new manga's like Magi, Kuruko no Basket and AoT are outselling Naruto. Hell even HxH who didn't put out a chapter in a year and half is outselling Naruto.

I never said that Naruto is a crapy manga, but this manga has seen better days, you can not deny that. I'm a person who buys good volumes and i would never pay a penny to see friendship speeches between Obito/Naruto, Jubi god of the NV that only makes tailed beast boms, Madara that is sitting around ect.

I don't deny that this manga has seen better days but none of the things you mentioned is what ruined it for me, I think the mass resurrection of characters is the worst move Kishi has made (twice) so far, not Obito or the Juubi or Madara. Follows the clanky management of female characters like Sakura or Hinata. Finally, things that are happening lately, like Sasuke's change of heart and Sakura's new powers and so on, while not bad per se, feel definitely rushed and compressed, likely for editorial needs.

Other than that I see nothing wrong with Naruto really, or with Kishi's writing. And I certainly can't agree to all the criticism the manga gets on the base, which comes from people who are never satisfied and usually asks for anything and the contrary of anything in the very same day.

That said, given that you speak of manga sales so confidently, point me to the source so we can discuss with equal informations.
