This isn't a black or white problem. This is a American problem. Thats a person killed by the cops for everyday of the year and then some. This article was written in May of this year. I think the number is somewhere over 500 now

Most of the crimes they're arrested for are drug related and prison in America is not working as a rehabilitation center like it should be, seeing as two-thirds of prisoners are likely to reoffend.
African Americans serve virtually as much time in prison for a drug offense (58.7 months) as whites do for a violent offense (61.7 months).

5 times as many Whites are using drugs as African Americans, yet African Americans are sent to prison for drug offenses at 10 times the rate of Whites.


Why? Because of these "Get tough on drugs" and "War on drug" policies we have, combined with a for profit prison system, have allowed for a justice system which is clearly unfair and should be fixed. Economic and social isolation have also contributed to this as well.

Why are prisons for profit? Because large businesses are allowed to influence our politicians and get them to pass laws which largely don't benefit us. This case is one that afflicts a particular portion of society

If we adapt a "We The People" type of model, I think we’ll be successful in our mission to bring about change.

Attack an officer with 3 others there? Its to my understanding that the cop wasn't rushed. Theres a reoccurring theme in these incidents. The crimes being committed aren't ones you usually get killed over. The cop isn't Judge Dredd. The officer's job is to bring criminals in so that judgement can be passed upon them by their peers in a court of law.

Of course these officers should be charged for using lethal force. What sense does it make to kill an UNARMED suspect?

Are you seeing a magical thread between companies selling their products ,a vast majority of which are indifferent because their goal is to sell as many units as possible, not buying them will fix a problem?

The ones you should be aiming for aren't consumer grade businesses. There the ones that own prisons, oil companies, ones that actively push for laws that don't benefit the American public. The ones that push for harsh drug prohibition in America.
