Old Written Test Example;

Assume you are explaining all of these to the same student.

1. Suppose you have a student who has no understanding of chakra whatsoever. Explain what chakra is as if you were explaining to your student, assuming they have no prior knowledge to help them. Explain thoroughly and in such a way as to keep questions asked by your student to a bare minimum (avoid vague terms and explain yourself fully).

2. Suppose you are introducing a completely new RPer to the Wind element. As there are various aspects to chakra manipulation, how might you teach them to exhale wind techniques from their mouth? What about manipulating the air around themselves? Feel free to utilize existing canon jutsu as an example (no need to copy/paste the full technique from NB). Also include a brief description of the element to explain all of its capabilities

3. Suppose you are introducing a completely new RPer to Ninjutsu. Explain to your student the different applications of non-elemental Ninjutsu, as well as what the NarutoBase Ninjutsu list primarily revolves around. Once again, explain so that as few questions as possible remain at the end of your explanation. Feel free to utilize existing canon jutsu as an example (no need to copy/paste the full technique from NB).

Assume you have a 'seasoned member' of NarutoBase as a student. Someone who knows the basics but needs help becoming better.

4. When fighting in the RP, it is more than likely that one will come across the standard 'nuke-throwing' phase, which is simply the use of various elemental techniques back and forth to try and overpower one's opponent. Knowing that chakra is a valuable resource, explain the importance of conserving chakra and the best way to do so in a fight.

5. It is fairly common that people waste the three allocated jutsu slots during a battle. Suppose that your opponent uses an A-Rank Earth technique: how might you successfully counter this to not waste a second jutsu slot?

6. Timeframe is an important and vital concept in the RP and those who lack understanding of it can often cause arguments in a fight. Read the following passage below and number in order the sequence of events that occur, regardless if they were supposedly interrupted or not. More than one action can be included per number.

His foot dug into the ground - he could not be sure of his footing today. Kabuto took several steps back, his eyes still focused on his opponent's stance. Then he brought hands up, deliberately, flashing through several familiar handseals. Of what he knew of the Sharingan, it could detect chakra - if he could split himself into three different forms, then it would become harder for his opponent to detect him. (To make the battle less confusing, only two Shadow Clones are created, named Black and White.) Almost immediately, he commanded one of his clones to activate one of his favorite jutsus. The shadows disappeared and rain began to fall - Kabuto shuddered, both with the excitement and the cold. An ominous feeling hung over the battlefield as the sun vanished in the sky, only to be replaced by gloomy clouds. He found himself gripping a kunai within his stash of tools, taking deep breaths of the cold air in order to stabilize his blood pressure. The grass weakened beneath him, transforming into mud, and he dug his ninja sandals within the ground, maintaining a defensive stance, ready to react to anything that would happen next.

Battle Scenarios and Judgement Calls

7. After ambushing Chris' house in an attempt to steal his secret stash of weed, you are sadly caught red-handed. Frozen in spot, a white snake rises from the ground, wrapping itself around your body in a technique you are rather familiar with. You can see Chris rapidly approaching from a distance, bringing with him all the wrath of a drunk Dionysus. What are two ways, given that you are completely immobilized, to *release* yourself from this unfortunate scenario? (And hopefully escape)

8. After a small scuffle with his eternal enemy, Detective L was sent flying back about twelve meters from a simple blow by his opponent. Sputtering angrily, he shouted at Noni as he proceeded to form the Tiger handseal. "You fodder! I'll get you for that (I AM THE BEST OF THE 2013 GEN)". He then stopped the ground with his foot, causing a slicing jet of water to rise up and make a straight beeline towards Noni. What is wrong with this scenario?

9. You are assigned a battle test to proctor because the other senseis are all busy and each have at least on battle test of their own. The ability that you are to test on is Toad Sage Mode on a custom biography. Which test bio (s) would you use for the battle test, and as proctor, what kind of jutsus or scenarios would you use to assure the testee showcases full usage of their bios?

10. What are some measures of caution that you might take against Sound users (assuming you are aware of their ability)?

Sensei of the Month Award

The Sensei of the Month Award can be won through monthly checks. The Sensei Mod (in this case, Detective L), will create a new thread at the end of a month. In this thread, the Sensei will post either their training, links to checks they have done or battle tests they have conducted during the month, to be checked and graded. These are graded based on effort, uniqueness and overall competency of the Sensei in the specific role regardless of the amount. The one who does the best, irregardless of their primary choice, will be eligible to win the Sensei of the Month award.

With this award, the Sensei will be able to acquire several perks, or the possibility to take a specific biography test for example, or even to gain a unique perk that is linked to their biography.



The first issue to address is the Bio updates since LOK became Foreman has rendered a significant portion of existing rewards obsolete; I will list those out. Also, seeing as bio updates have also decreased the volume in bio testing it makes obtaining some of these abilities take obscenely long times; I will also list those out. The second issue that needs to be addressed is, as mentioned before, the new system doesn't really take into account SOTM and the divisions. That's a bit more of a complex issue but I think it's easily solved. I'll start with the easier one.

Battle Test Reward System

This is less of a 'fix' and more of an update. Personally I don't see this system as broken and I think it is fine to leave it independent from SOTM. Abilities offered through this system need to be removed or adjusted to take into account for less test volume and simply the ability's usefulness. So here is my proposed adjusted list:

Abilities (custom bio)
Eight Inner Gates: 6 times. This will allow you to add EIG to your bio of choice without permission. Use a Rock Lee or Guy bio when proctoring a test.
Snake/Toad Sage mode: 3 times. Use any of the canon bios that have this ability for the test.
Mangekyou Sharingan: 4 times. Use any of the canon bios that have this ability for the test.
Tenseigan: [/b]6 times[/b]. You can apply this to a custom Hyuuga bio if you wish.
Kaguya Clan: 2 times.

Bios (you will need to drop one of the two bios you have in order to redeem one of these):
Hashirama Senju: 5 times. This includes sage mode.
Minato Namikaze: 3 times. This includes sage mode.
Senju Tobirama: 3 times. Does not include Kinjutsu.
Nagato Uzumaki: 5 times.
Obito Uchiha: 8. Includes MS only.
Mei Terumi: 2 times.
Muu: 3 times.
A, The Fourth Raikage: 3 times.
The Third Raikage: 4 times.
Kinkaku and Ginkaku: 3 times.

Changelog:
-Reduced SSM/TSM. These were turned into mod permissions from tests, so obtaining them is slightly easier...in a different sense I guess.
-Reduced MS. MS is a seriously meh ability that only becomes good once you get EMS. Having it require 8 tests is just overkill given its quality and overall usefulness.
-Reduced Tenseigan. Higher than MS, given that it is a gravity-based ability. But still reduced slightly just because there are so few bio tests that use a Tenseigan bio, if any. I actually haven't seen a single test use a Tenseigan bio bar the sensei test that Korra did...which was closed prematurely because of how he used it.
-Minato: Slight reduction.
-Mei: Slight reduction.
-Muu: Slight reduction
-Removed Onoki (No longer a test bio, requires single mod permission)

Note: I didn't reduce Nagato. He's still a Rinnegan bio and he also gained the ability to submit S/F-Rank Fuuinjutsu. So it felt pretty balanced that he require 5 tests.

Prize Route
Fuuinjutsu: 8 times.

Leg weights: 2 times.

Five Additional CJ Slots: 5 times

Reducing all of these felt pretty fair. 15 times to Fuuin and 20 for Kin is just insanely high seeing as they require mod permission now and they really aren't that good on their own. Removing all custom bios is necessary at this point seeing as you can skin any point you want into whatever you want. Most of these reductions just take into account that there are fewer tests these days and that a lot of these abilities require a high number of tests for an ability who's strength doesn't reflect this.

Also a suggestion to add to this battle rewards system. Maybe make it so you can, requiring two more tests than the default for an ability, fulfill the requirements and apply the ability to a Hiruko bio.

Sensei of the Month

So SOTM is sort of broken now with this change. It's also broken because it isn't really maintained, but that is a separate issue. I think the biggest issue right now with SOTM is that for people who only check and do battle tests will be at a significant disadvantage compared to people who teach. I outlined this issue in my suggestion post back when this thread was first posted saying:

At the time, I didn't have a viable solution in mind. The issue with this is is how each 'action' is weighted. If that is taken into account in a fair way then I think the issue SOTM faces becomes far less complex and is actually simple to manage. Essentially it boils down to judgement calls (which it already did). It is very difficult to weigh these perfectly and I also don't think an exact number can be put on them. This is because it isn't simply a quantity thing. It is a quality question as well. Someone who has 50 students wasn't guaranteed to win SOTM, just as someone who completes 10 tests or does 15 fight checks shouldn't be either. So a lot of different factors need to be weighed against each other. I think L, or whomever will do SOTM, needs to just find a comfortable balance with this. There isn't a perfect new system to replace this with, and I really don't think there needs to be.

The tl;dr of this solution is not to replace the rewards system, but just update it to reflect the current RP. SOTM isn't broken, it just needs to reflect the current sensei system. SOTM will no longer simply be about teaching; it will expand into battle testing and checking. Very similar, if not the same, standards will apply to BTs and checks as it did in teaching when the rewards are being given out. It boils down to updating and maintaining.

So, I do like Moofy's suggestion about making it so a single SOTM reward can be used to 'purchase' one of the rewards on the Sensei Battle Test system and void the BT requirement on it.

I also think it is very important to keep SOTM as it is - Sensei of the Month. Not Sensei of the Quarter, or Sensei of the Bimonthly Check, but Sensei of the Month. So after a month passes, take 2 weeks to go through the posts, and then pick a winner. Then take 2 weeks off and then at the end of the month take another two weeks to pick a winner. Make it efficient. If someone doesn't post their threads on time then they need to wait till the next cycle. Just churn it out on a schedule.

Of course the numbers will be adjusted as the system is fleshed out, but this is a rough idea I think we can work with.

Pieck is shown to be somewhat sweet and kind, and she is incredibly intelligent, able to quickly deduce a situation. Her Uchiha bloodline allows her to easily excel and grasp complex situations in a quick, and witty manner. She has been said to be eccentric, often times weird - whether in speech patterns, ranging from introspective to being outright silly to her bodily behaviour, often times leaning forward or preferring to relax on all fours instead of standing or laying. Advanced Hand Seal Specialist
Pieck is able to perform all Ninjutsu techniques with merely the formation of a single hand seal. She has been shown to be skilled enough to perform these one handed hand seals with a weapon in hand.


Advanced Kenjutsu Specialist[/HR][/HR] Outside her general fighting prowess, Pieckis highly skilled in close combat and Kenjutsu, even with only one hand. Due to this expertise, Pieck is capable of gaining an increased damage to her freeform Kenjutsu and Taijutsu (+10 damage) and access to Iaido based Samurai techniques.


Yin Release Specialist & Draconium
Pieck as a Yin specialist is able to gain an increase in their chakra draining abilities, allowing them to passively siphon 30 chakra per turn from enemies, and due to their heightened spiritual energy, Pieck therefore, becomes aware of all Genjutsu and spiritual techniques and entities and gains the ability to use Genjutsu Kai without a seal. Thanks to his Yin prowess, Pieck developed a special element. Coated in a black shade, Draconium utilizes Yin chakra and Lightning to create a unique element special to Pieck


Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan
Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning "Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the highest known form of Sharingan. The appearance of the pupil drastically changes, differing from the users original shape. When active. Pieck can track speeds even further beyond that of the MS. The timing of her counters, the chaining speed of multiple techniques and the ability to see through the enemy's moves greatly increase even beyond the levels of MS. Not only that but Pieck gains the ability to see through visual genjutsu S rank and below. The link to Genjutsu is further increased as he gains the ability to cast any and every genjutsu without the need for handseals as long as he has a clear line of sight to the target. Also, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan gives Pieck access to the same powerful and forbidden techniques available to the user through her MS and even some additional ones. Like all EMS users, Pieck will however,not suffer any damage or decrease drawbacks in his EMS activation time limit through the use of MS based techniques. Futhermore, Pieck gains access to stronger and more potent techniques of Blaze Release.


Rinnegan
With the infusion of Hagoromo's chakra, Pieck gained the Rinnegan and a passive +30 damage up to S rank, turning her techniques into a black color. Pieck gains an additional 750 chakra points added to base chakra level due to achieving the Rinnegan, and gains complete immunity to visual based Genjutsu. Pieck gains access to the Six Paths being able to use 2 Paths at a time, as well as being able to see chakra and the chakra flow of other targets. She also has access to chakra rods, as well as her normal EMS techniques and abilities.


Swords & Daggers
Pieck carries on her, a single golden small sword at all times, located on her left waist as well as a longer katana on her right hand side. Pieck is easily capable of retrieving her dagger or sword with ease.

Description: The user will have a seal placed on their body with the Kanji for a specific element. The seal can be passively activated in battle and it’s activation will restrict the user to a certain element (as well as the one’s it’s comprised of. In exchange for limiting the user to certain element(s), the user's techniques of the remaining elements will gain one rank and in the case of S-Ranks and above they will gain +20 damage. In the case of defensive and supplementary techniques, they will become capable of defending against techniques with 20 more damage points (only applies to S-Ranks and above). This counts as a passive boost rather than an active one due to the nature of the seal. To clearly illustrate the seal’s use in battle, if the user restricted themselves to Steel Release, they would still have access to Earth, Fire and any CE combinations of the aforementioned elements (elements that use solely earth, solely fire or Earth and Fire). Alternatively, the user can create the seal in the middle of a battle but this usage can only be used once. This usage is fast enough to be used in the same time-frame as the subsequent technique. Once activated, this technique lasts until canceled.

(Fūinjutsu: Jō Kōken) – Sealing Technique: Imperial Guardian]

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.
Note: Can only be trigger twice per battle.
Note: Can guard against up to an S-rank technique.
Note: The user can use it twice counting as two moves per turn and using +30 chakra with each usage to guard against a forbidden ranked technique, this can only be used once.

(Fuuin: Kanbatsu Jakunen Metsubou) - Sealing Technique: Law of the Logia (Turn into Wind)

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for a specific element and it will lay dormant until the user is physically struck, be it by an attack, weapon or an opponent. Whenever the user is physically interacted with (e.g. punched, stabbed, shot), their body will instantly exhibit all of the properties of the chosen element. This doesn't mean their body merely has the properties of the element but rather when interacted with the targeted part(s) of the body will passively dissipate into storm energy or harden into steel (effect depends on the chosen element). If for example the user is stabbed and they turn into storm energy, the bladed weapon would merely phase through their energy-composed body and leave them unaffected. On the other side of the scale, if the user's body hardens into steel then the attack will simply do them no harm. After the attack or strike has passed through them, their body will automatically revert itself to it's normal appearance. Since this technique usually only applies to specific parts of the body, any unconverted portions of the user's body can still be moved/controlled/used as normal. While in this form, the user can only use the element they transformed into, the element's it's composed of and any combination of the aforementioned element as well as any non-elemental abilities. This technique enables the user to defend against A-Ranks and below of neutral elements (B-Ranks and below for weaknesses, S-Ranks and below for strengths). If the user is struck with an attack that will neutralize their transformation, the two cancel one another out and the user reverts to their original form unharmed. If the user is struck with an attack that overpowers their transformation, the user's body reverts to it's original form and sustains the remaining damage (after the collision of techniques). The only exception to this rule is if the two chosen elements have no sort of interaction with one another (e.g. Fire and Lightning), in which case rank differences will not matter. Regardless of how the user is hit, this can be a full body or partial transformation (depends on the user’s choice). Should they be struck by a physical attack capable of cancelling out their transformation (e.g. a sword streaming nagashi), the sword will remain inside them on reversion and they’ll be impaled by the blade.

Description: The user will have four seals on their body (must be stated in the biography) with the Kanji for “Curse” that can be passively activated (instant but still counts as a move) whenever the opponent uses a technique. The seal will will release an intangible barrier that expands outwards in all directions. The barrier instantly reaches long-range in every direction and serves to absorb chakra from the given technique in order to weaken it by a quarter . The amount of chakra absorbed is proportional to the power of the technique but one thing that remains the same is that the remaining technique will fall to three-quarters it's original power i.e. a 120 damage technique would fall to 90 damage (Forbidden Rank). The barrier is destroyed soon after coming into contact with the technique if it exceeds a traditional S-Rank in power but not before it leeches a quarter of it’s chakra in order to weaken it by the same degree. The user can instead activate two barriers rather than one to reduce the targeted technique to half it’s original power rather than a quarter. This will count as two of the user’s three moves per turn. This means this technique does not counter other jutsu in itself but rather aids the user in countering more powerful techniques by weakening them. Due to the barrier’s intangibility, it will can work on solid techniques as well as liquids, gases and energy-based techniques. It will also only shatter against non-physical techniques due to their ability to clash with the intangible barrier. The reason this seal needs to be passively activated (still counts as a move) is so the user can use a technique in the same-timeframe to counter the opponent's weakened jutsu. This technique can be used thrice per battle, be it three usages of the single version, three usages of the double version or any variation/combination of the two.

Any abilities which act externally such as the canon techniques Multiple Infinite Embraces or Living Barrier will be unable to affect anything inside the barrier, namely the user's body. Seals which act internally will first have their chakra be absorbed by the barrier (happens instantly and so before they can come into effect) and once erected, the barrier will prevent any further insertion of chakra while active. The seal is self-sustaining and will involuntary leech chakra from the user's body. This is for the express purpose of maintaining this technique even when the user can't use or mold chakra. This is possible as the chakra still exists within the user as it is equivalent of their very life-force. This can counter S-Rank and below sealing techniques. This cannot be activated manually and will only ever activate under the aforementioned conditions. Description: This seal must be either stated in the user's bio or placed on him before battle. This seal is linked to the users two strongest elemental abilities and only seeks to make them weaker in order to increase the power of the users Sealing Arts. When passively activated it will drain the user's two main elemental affinities of 10 points of chakra and damage automatically every time they're used, storing it within itself, and making the users techniques using those affinities weaker until its deactivated. It's true purpose will be triggered whenever the user utilizes the art of Fuuinjutsu, it will convert and release this stored power into any Fuuinjutsu technique whenever it is used, filling the technique with the energy it took from the user's elemental prowess. This results in every Fuuinjutsu technique the user uses gaining +1 Rank (if they’re A-Rank or below). On the other side, the main two elemental affinities of the user will automatically lose 10 damage and chakra each when they are used. Elements which are a combination of both of the weakened elements will also be weakened in the same way. This lasts until deactivated.

Description:
The Crotalinae are a selective species of snake summonings which were bred and assigned only to the greater of the snake contract signers. These species of Snake summonings specifically had evolved over time to have harder, more adaptable scales covering their body and an enhanced pit organ that naturally heightened their abilities to sense. This heightened sensing used through the pit organ seemingly was developed not only for predatory reasons but also for defensive measures against other predators. The sensing was exactly like the basics of any other snake, just taken to a higher level. Meaning they could sense minute vibrations up to a certain distance around them and even had an infrared optic map of the world before them. Typically, most snakes of the Crotalinae subfamily had natural infrared maps overlaid through their optic tectum, but with the Selective species being bred into existence it was heightened to the point of even being able to put this to use in the pitch black and in the darkest of times. The facial pit actually visualizes thermal radiation using the same optical principles as a pinhole camera, wherein the location of a source of thermal radiation/heat is determined by the location of the radiation on the membrane of the heat pit. The resolution on the infrared mapping through the heat pits has a very high resolution, which in turn allows the snakes to sense different levels of heat and cooler areas in extreme detail. Besides the sensing, their scales made for a greater form of defense, allowing them to survive harsher conditions and more damage than an average snake summoning. Not only were the scales on Crotalinae found to be more thicker and tougher than average, but they also held a passive ability to blend in with their environment by changing colors and becoming camouflaged. This coupled with their sensing made them very dangerous predators that were even able to escape other predator's perception if they didn't have some higher form of tracking or sensing.

Note: The Crotalinae Species can be summoned as generic snakes like the ones summoned in techniques such as: Summoning Technique: Giant Snakes, Summoning Technique: Three Headed Snakes, or Just the normal generic summoning technique, though instead of being normal snakes, they'd be of the Crotalinae subfamily. They won't take the place of those techniques, instead the user uses the generic summoning technique to summon Crotalinae, having to post this technique along with it but not costing an extra move.
Note: The sensing of minute vibrations and infrared mapping spans as far as an 100m radius, with larger snakes being able to sense the furthest due to their larger pit organs. Snakes under 40m in length can only sense up to 50m whole anything bigger can sense up to the maximum reach.
Note: The evolved scales allow the Crotalinae Species to take up to 20 more damage than average snake summonings of their rank. This is due to the thickness and tougher nature of the scaling covering the Crotalinae.
(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills

Description and Background:
Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiry of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills

Description and Background:
Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. Replenishes 50 percent of the user's maximum chakra supply per pill taken, along with pumping stimulants into the body to alleviate tiredness. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or distribute in combat and are essentially dark brown small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach.
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking two pills in a conflict results in hyper-stimulation of the cardiovascular system. The users heart rate and blood pressure increase to the point they become painful for 6 turns after taking the pill.
-Taking 3 pills in a conflict pushes the user's cardiovascular system to breaking point, resulting in heart failure after 4 turns.
(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill

Description and Background:
Contains high concentrations of amino acids, iron and mitosis inducing enzymes designed to turbo boost the production of erythrocytes from haematopoetic stem cells in the human body. This pill alleviates and cancels the symptoms of blood loss after one turn. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or administer in combat and are essentially dark red small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking 2 pills leads to increased blood pressure, and increased likelihood of blood clots forming, specially through trauma.
-Taking 3 pills over stresses the cardiovascular system and causes aneurysm after 4 turns.

Pieck's childhood wasn't much to odd for a child of her lineage - early on, Ninjutsu became something easily mastered and used - her foundation and upbringing allowed her to easily understand how the world worked and how to manipulate it.

Seeing the destructive nature of the Shinobi, and how it affected not only her immediate family but also her lineage, Pieck chose a more comfortable, indirect approach to violence.

With this in mind, Pieck didn't remain stagnant, but rather gained a large amount of knowledge and skills that she could use to her advantage - should the situation call for it.

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.
Note: Can only be trigger twice per battle.
Note: Can guard against up to an S-rank technique.
Note: The user can use it twice counting as two moves per turn and using +30 chakra with each usage to guard against a forbidden ranked technique, this can only be used once.

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for a specific element and it will lay dormant until the user is physically struck, be it by an attack, weapon or an opponent. Whenever the user is physically interacted with (e.g. punched, stabbed, shot), their body will instantly exhibit all of the properties of the chosen element. This doesn't mean their body merely has the properties of the element but rather when interacted with the targeted part(s) of the body will passively dissipate into storm energy or harden into steel (effect depends on the chosen element). If for example the user is stabbed and they turn into storm energy, the bladed weapon would merely phase through their energy-composed body and leave them unaffected. On the other side of the scale, if the user's body hardens into steel then the attack will simply do them no harm. After the attack or strike has passed through them, their body will automatically revert itself to it's normal appearance. Since this technique usually only applies to specific parts of the body, any unconverted portions of the user's body can still be moved/controlled/used as normal. While in this form, the user can only use the element they transformed into, the element's it's composed of and any combination of the aforementioned element as well as any non-elemental abilities. This technique enables the user to defend against A-Ranks and below of neutral elements (B-Ranks and below for weaknesses, S-Ranks and below for strengths). If the user is struck with an attack that will neutralize their transformation, the two cancel one another out and the user reverts to their original form unharmed. If the user is struck with an attack that overpowers their transformation, the user's body reverts to it's original form and sustains the remaining damage (after the collision of techniques). The only exception to this rule is if the two chosen elements have no sort of interaction with one another (e.g. Fire and Lightning), in which case rank differences will not matter. Regardless of how the user is hit, this can be a full body or partial transformation (depends on the user’s choice). Should they be struck by a physical attack capable of cancelling out their transformation (e.g. a sword streaming nagashi), the sword will remain inside them on reversion and they’ll be impaled by the blade.

Description: The user will have a seal placed on their body with the Kanji for a specific element. The seal can be passively activated in battle and it’s activation will restrict the user to a certain element (as well as the one’s it’s comprised of. In exchange for limiting the user to certain element(s), the user's techniques of the remaining elements will gain one rank and in the case of S-Ranks and above they will gain +20 damage. In the case of defensive and supplementary techniques, they will become capable of defending against techniques with 20 more damage points (only applies to S-Ranks and above). This counts as a passive boost rather than an active one due to the nature of the seal. To clearly illustrate the seal’s use in battle, if the user restricted themselves to Steel Release, they would still have access to Earth, Fire and any CE combinations of the aforementioned elements (elements that use solely earth, solely fire or Earth and Fire). Alternatively, the user can create the seal in the middle of a battle but this usage can only be used once. This usage is fast enough to be used in the same time-frame as the subsequent technique. Once activated, this technique lasts until canceled.

Description: Based on the Sealing Trap Explosion, the user creates a cursed barrier around his person. This skin tight barrier is then made dormant until specific conditions are met. Should a jutsu of foreign chakra approach the user, the armor will react in such a way that, much like the parent jutsu, an explosion is generated. However, the difference between the two is that while the basic version is omnidirectional, this variant is a controlled outwards explosion generated towards the source of the foreign chakra. Due to the layer of chakra in the barrier around the body, the user is left unscathed as the barrier generated explosion disperses any attack of same chakra level or lower. Due to being an actual barrier and not a chakra shroud like with SM or Bijuu Modes, the user is left able to use other mode based jutsu while this lays dormant. Should an explosion occur in a direction, the user is able to release it from his fist instead of his entire front torso.

( Myōhō Muramasa ) - Myōhō Muramasa

Description: Myōhō Muramasa is a legendary sword wielded by Izuna Uchiha and functions as the sister weapon to Madara's Gunbai. Myōhō Muramasa appears as a normal katana with an Uchiha symbol on its hilt. Offensively, Myōhō Muramasa can be used to release Fire Release techniques from it's blade with just a swing, however only up to A rank. Due to this being a sword, it naturally can be used for Kenjutsu purposes. Myōhō Muramasa much like its counterpart is virtually indestructible. This sword also allows Izuna to be able to use techniques such as ( Uchihagaeshi ) - Uchiha's Return.

Description: The user preforms one handseal, summoning Maman Brigitte. She comes forth covering a great portion of the battlefield with a thick mist, throwing off chakra sensing techniques. The mist carries a strong genjutsu, A rank in strength, as it is filled with Maman's chakra, making the opponent hear obscenities coming from a female voice, without being able to detect it's origin. Anyone trapped within the mist is flooded with images of black roosters, dead spirits and a burning taste and smell of rum and red peppers, all rounded and perverted by Maman's voice as if mocking them and the ones they lost. Maman herself is a great box jellyfish the size of a human, light enough to swim through the mist, taking advantage of the confusion of her opponent to strike him from behind. This takes the concept of a living Genjutsu, of a mist, a summon and, genjutsu mixing together. The genjutsu constantly shifts it's chakra signal, making it so that it adapts to any shifts in the opponent's chakra flow, making this a constant genjutsu even if the opponent is able to constantly shift his chakra or body, as long as the opponent is in the mist, mid range from Maman
*The thick mist can't be broken or pushed away by anything lower than one rank bellow it's rank, the mist being A Rank. This is because of the consistency of the mist, battling against the power of the wind/scattering agent*
*The mist Mid-range from Maman throws off Natural Chakra gathering, preventing Sage Mode Users from gathering enough to break the Genjutsu. This has to do with the organic properties of the mist being so tightly woven with the animal's own sustenance and habitat, which throws off and severs the connection of the targets with the battlefield.*

*Any means of countering an A rank Genjutsu are fair game once the opponent is out of range from Maman. Otherwise, the user must counter the mist or Maman in order to be able to release from the genjutsu (the later being a method or releasing the genjutsu itself)

I was going to do some edits, but it'd probably be better for this to be a separate post.


I was going to start with the written test, but a lot of what I had to say there depended on adjusting this moderately. Looking at the post you have here:

Requirements: I think that we should up what's required from "Specializing in one area that can be taught" (Adv. Nin, HA, KG, or special Universal) to "having a minimum of three abilities that are able to be taught, and specializing in a minimum of one of these" (applicants are neither required nor encouraged to claim they specialize in everything).

Application Itself: We should add a field to the copy/paste application box that indicates their intended Primary and Secondary roles as a sensei. It will give us an indicator as to who wants to do what when they come on board, and if we have, say, 10 current senseis specializing in Battle Tests and 2 who specialize in training, it gives us an idea of who to be approving first (and a way of saying "We currently have enough Battle Test conductors" when declining people).

Clarification: This one kind of roles up the previous two. Clarify that "Skills I'm Specialized In" is "Specialty in Teaching" (helps us direct the Sensei Test to that specific applicant) and we could even remodel the "Why I want to be Sensei" into the "Primary and Secondary Role" I mentioned above (or, as seeing the person's intent in becoming Sensei is important, that field could be added in addition to everything else).​


As a preface, I like what you've done with the Written Test so far. After seeing the Method System posts I figured this would need to change. The way I see your test currently, it's comprised of 9 short-answer questions, and 2 long-answer questions, which is a really good outline for the test.

A little extra work on our part, maybe, but given my proposed adjustment of the Application Process, we could modify the Written Test slightly to be more specific to each applicant:

Tasks: If we wrote up 3 tasks and gave the people writing the 2 that were relevant to their Primary and Secondary Sensei Roles (mentioned above as being part of application), the test would feel more personal. The task you have, when completed (ie. the whole battle snippet written out) will be great, but if given to at "Training - Primary / Battle Test - Secondary" applicant, it would feel a bit off. Yes they should be capable of doing it all, but that's what the Short Answer is for. The Long Answer should be more relevant to individual testees.​

The other things I wanted to specify in the Written Test is more along the lines of picking one of their Specialty areas for their training questions, and so that would be more question-specific, as opposed to looking at the test as a whole.


I not only think this is good, but I believe it's essential to add this specification to the current Official Sensei List. Let people know which sensei actually want to check your battles, and which sensei are more likely to take you in for training is a great idea. It also lends more transparency (in my eyes - maybe you're already transparent in what roles people have and I just haven't seen it) which is always great. Love it.


I don't really intend to go over the SotM right now, and Shishou application looks alright for right now (I can look at it closer later and give my thoughts then), so I'll just throw out a couple possible questions that I can come up with off the top of my head for the Written Test. I'm going to hit the road and travel for a bit today, and then I'll be with family after that, so I'll be "around", but not very active for actually doing stuff. These questions won't be of the best quality, but hopefully they'll get "gears turning" when it comes to improving them or coming up with new stuff.

-Describe the difference between a Minor Timeframe error, and a Major Timeframe error. Do you treat both of these errors identically?
-Describe how to proceed when the issue is with a technique you are unfamiliar with (CC tech, obscure custom, ability you simply haven't been trained in, etc.)


-Describe, as best as you can, how you would deal with various levels of mistakes made by the testee (if you need a guideline for these 'levels', feel free to use "roleplay-based mistakes -> timeframe confusion -> general ability misuse -> test-specific ability mis-use", considering both lethal and non-lethal in all. You are free and encouraged to produce your own hierarchy of mistakes instead of the one provided)

-The testee is tasked with creating a test-appropriate response to this Muu test (to be created prior to the test - 2 or 3 moves in, each - the responses will be skeletal in nature, the bare minimum of what's required, and therefore easy and quick to read and respond in kind). The testee is required to pressure the imaginary Muu while making it clear that they understand battle testing is to allow the one taking the test to display their skill with bio abilities

-The testee is required to respond to this task as though they had just begun the A-ranks of {insert conductor-chosen skill here}. Simple enough in concept, merely require them to go through the first 2 or 3 (depending on time restrictions) techniques as though they were teaching.


-Pick a technique at random from the testee's Specialty, and use it improperly. Require them to correct you {grade based on detail of correction, accuracy of correction, and otherwise detail of the technique at hand. Also, if feeling ****-ish, use the technique correctly and require them to correct you - passing grades in this case only if they recognize the trick question}

Finally, as an afterthought, I suppose my Primary role as a sensei is Training. I don't even know what I would want as a secondary role, neither are very appealing to me. I suppose I could roleplay with Battle Testing, so if I ever need a documented Secondary Role, put me down for Battle Tests.

Orientation Based, Odd Timeframe & Battle Questions. Example of one's teaching.




1. How many students should a Good, Organised Sensei take on?


Give us an explanation on how a Biography is successfully created? What important information is the bare minimum needed for approval and what is the different between creating a Canon and Custom one?


Why is the Ninja World Important?


3. "I haven't seen Naruto and I don't understand the abilities? But I would like to be like X character from X show, what do I do now?" If a student like this came to you, how would you go about their induction into the Roleplay?


4. With Missions being a paramount addition to the Modern RP, give us an overview on how you would use a Mission to better one's Role-play and abilities. Do this from explaining how, where and why one chooses their storyboard elements to submitting the final thing & everything in-between.


5. Timeframe is an important and vital concept in the RP and those who lack understanding of it can often cause arguments in a fight. Read the following passage and number in order the sequence of events that occur, regardless if they were supposedly interrupted or not. More than one action can be included per number.

Jiraiya's hair whipped in the wind as the tensity of battle drew near, he thought about the women in his life and how this might be the last time he'd see their beautiful chests again. He bit his thumb and smeared blood on his hand before performing an array of hand seals and slamming his palms on the ground, a poof of smoke erupted around him and below him a Massive Toad by the name of Gamabunta had arrived on the battlefield. Jiraiya spoke with his Toad, a communication of ideas before proceeding with the fight. Jiraiya jumped from the Toad's head high into the air and as he left the Toad's scalp his summon's mouth expanded and shot forward a liquid of an oily substance towards the target. With Jiraiya suspended in midair he performed a couple hand seals before releasing a stream of fire which collided with the oil and set it ablaze causing a reaction and stronger attack to hit the target - liquid ignited with flame. Jiraiya lands on the ground and whilst manipulating his hair it whips around and swipes the area in front of him, releasing a flurry of sharp senbon needles in the direction of his target, not giving them a chance to breath against his combined technique with Gamabunta.


6. You are faced with checking a battle in the Ninja World/WSE. What is required from both parties in order for your check to be valid, and what exactly are you required to do when you do check a battle?

The Marionette can have as many Puppets on the Field as she wants.Though she can only summon them through the ability of "True Puppeteer".

Secret Abilities
True Puppeteer; The Marionette is so skilled in Puppetry that they can summon from the ground Puppets that's chakra wires are threaded through the earth. The Puppets controlled can have a single KG/HA/AE of the proctor's choosing and also a Mode in accordance to the rules. The Marionette can do this once per turn and summoning puppets does not effect the timeframe and can be done at the same time as other jutsu, however it costs a move of three.

True Puppeteer; When reduced to 0 HP the Marionette will reveal it's true form. The one faced in battle being a fake and will erupt from the ground in the form of a large skeletal being that she has infused herself in to. In this form The Marionette can use Shikotsumyaku with +40 Damage and Taijutsu gains +20, and can immediately create 5 puppets on the field. It's HP becomes 150 and remaining chakra is doubled. Though because of the fragile nature of the Skeletal form if it uses Taijutsu attacks it's health is reduced by 10.

Fiendish Realism; taking the form of an actual spider, Shelob doesn't need to perform handseals for any of her abilities she posseses. For her Ink Ninjutsu she can scribe on the very earths as her scroll using any of her eight legs, producing Ink as well as Spider Sin=lk from her body.

Arachnid Carnage; All of Shelob's Spider Ninjutsu attacks can be treated as an A-Rank attack (Or S-Rank if already A-Rank). Her Spiderwebs are also coated in some form of venom which she is immune too, just touching it burns and dissolves through ones skin giving her spider silk abilities a damage value if they dont carry one equal to the rank of the technique or those with one gain +20 damage.

Secret Abilities
Paralyzing Venom; A Venom that is applied in close range through being bit or stabbed with the stinger which is located near her spinneret. When wounded the venom travels instantly through the body, making it impossible for the enemy to mould chakra or utilise it, it also immobilises them completely not being able to move at all. Once hit by this Venom, the opponent is done for and is at Shelob's Mercy.

Dissolving Venom; A Venom that is A - F Rank in power can be fire indiscriminately from Shelob as she attempts to burn down all in front of her. Upon coming into contact with this venom it will begin to dissolve at the skin and melt the very body it consumes. This Venom is strong against solid objects like Earth, but can become diluted versus water and so is weaker. The Dissolving Venom shot from her mouth like a stream of water and can be of various sizes depending on the power. If F-Rank is used this ability has a two turn cooldown overall.

His face is that of an aged man with calm eyes, and he has an impressively long, brown beard and hair of the same nature.
Abilities :
Gwyn has the ability to use Fire Release and the advanced elements of Scorch and Blast as well as normal Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Genjutsu. He is also capable of using Kenjutsu, being well adapt to using his sword in collaboration with his advanced elements.

Gwyn, a self proclaimed Lord of Sunlight has the passive ability to imbue Scorch and Blast chakra into his attacks, gaining a +20 damage for all energy based elements, turning them into a bright yellow or orange color for techniques S rank and below.

Gwyn is capable of charging his Advanced Elements through his body, allowing him to create boosts to propel him forward with great speed, as well as escape the area of attack. This can be done to dodge 5 meters to any direction with x2 speed.

Sif has the capability of using Kenjutsu through the use of the large sword she wields in her mouth. Furthermore, she specializes in using Wind and Typhoon Release through the swing of her large tail or paws, while other techniques can be used (elemental) that emerge from her mouth, without the need for hand seals. Sif is able to see extremely far (long range) and through mist.

Artorias' Will:
Sif is capable of charging her Wind or Typhoon chakra through the sword she possesses. This allows Sif to create multiple swords that scatter the field up to long range. These sword are thick and dense, compressed Wind or Typhoon chakra which take different shapes. Sif is able to mentally manipulate the myriad of swords, each carrying a rank of C rank, capable of using up to 8 swords at a time.
A Nimble Wolf:
Sif is able to focus her Wind chakra around her, and/or her limbs. By lowering the pressure of air around said focused area, Sif is able to release it forward with twice its normal speed. This coating is able to last for two turns, with a cool down turn in between.
Artorias' Will

Up to 8 swords can be made at a time, and follow the normal splitting rules.

A warrior clad in black and blue, Artorias is a large man who wields a massive broadswor. Known for his will of steel, as well as his proficiency in using his sword, Artorias is a formidable warrior as well as a respected legend. His bond with Sif is unbreakable.
Abilities :
A man of great strength and power, Artorias possesses the ability to use Samurai techniques coupled with normal Kenjutsu techniques. Furthermore, he is able to utilize Dark Release with a few special techniques of his own combined with using the Eight Inner Gates up to the Third Gate.
Passive Abilities:
Artorias is capable of unleashing a massive burst of Dark energy in the form of light blue flames that emerge from his entire body. This encompasses the entirety of his short range, and he is able to gesture Dark Release flames with his hands, and through a swipe of his sword. This is B ranked in strength and can be used up to 4 times.
With the use of his sword, Artorias is able to sway the movement of techniques in order to both divide them and send them back. This can be used against techniques of A rank and below, and can be used only 3 times per fight, but requires a two turn cool down period.

Ornstein and Smough are of the SnK clan and fairly formidable warriors. Ornstein is a large man that is clad in a golden armor with a lion mask. He carries with him a long lance, and is proficient in using Lightning Release. Smough on the other hand is a shorter yet massive humanoid, clad in a large armor and carries a large hammer.
Abilities :
Smough and Ornstein are capable of using Lightning Release, as well as Ornstein being able to use his own variant of Lightning Armor, and Ornstein being able to endure against stronger attacks. Both carry special weapons which is infused with Lightning.
Passive Abilities:
Due to their proficiency in Lightning, Ornstein and Smough gain a +20 to all their Lightning techniques and give them a bright yellow coloration.
Ornstein has the capability of moving in linear directions with great speed, leaving a trail of bright yellow Lightning. This gives him a x2 speed boost, in order to both dodge attacks as well as attack. Ornstein is able to use this three times per fight.
Smough on the other hand is able to take on solid elements, and break through it with ease. This allows him to tank B rank and below solid elements, for up to two turns at a time.



Kalameet, The Black Dragon

Looks:
A large black Dragon that is capable of human speech, and has dark red eyes. He has the capability of reading the minds of foes as well as messing with them. To showcase this, Kalameet has a large orange eye that hovers above his head and showcases his mental prowess.
Abilities :
Kalameet is a dragon, and thus capable of using Fire release through his mouth. Furthermore, Kalameet is capable of using the black flames of Amaterasu through special means, as well as communicate and scramble the minds of foes through his special third eye.
Passive Abilities:
Kalameet is capable of flight, and through the use of his wings, Kalameet is able to send down a flurry of Fire that is B ranked in strength.
Through the use of his special third eye, Kalameet is able to not only manipulate objects, but he is also able to manifest a powerful wave and interrupt the opponent's hand seals, once every two turns.



Queelag, The Daughter of Chaos

Queelag is a beautiful woman who dons dark black hair that covers her bare chest. Her orange eyes and white skin often draw in prey. Below her abdomen, she was cursed with the body of a spider and thus, she has eight legs. She carries with her a dark flaming sword, as well.
Abilities :
Queelag has proficiency for Fire and Lava, as well as wielding a special ancient sword. Due to her curse, she is able to use and control, spiders.
Passive Abilities:
Due to her proficiency, she is capable of causing +20 more damage to Fire and Lava techniques, S rank and below, causing them to become bright red and give off a powerful hue of heat, that if left unhindered, would automatically cause C rank illusions to be manifested onto the foe, within short range.
Furthermore, Queelag is capable of using her special sword as a conduit for her techniques, swinging it to manipulate and unleash Lava from the air, ground as well as a special mouth that exists on her abdomen.




Pinwheel, The Cursed

Pinwheel is a combination of magic and chaos. An experiment gone wrong, Pinwheel is combination of several bodies all stitched together under one hood, with eight arms piercing out. In each hand, a large lantern is carried through which his power is cast. His face is showcased through several masks, both male and female.
Abilities :
Pinwheel has the capability of unique illusions, coupled with a dark Kinjutsu. This allows him to create clones of himself, fire tangible illusions as well as manifest extra arms if need be from his grotesque body.
Passive Abilities:
Due to his odd nature, Pinwheel has the capability to separate himself into three fully functional parts, each capable of using a single chosen element for the time of their separation through the lantern he carries.
Pinwheel is able to instantly shift himself with the body of a copy, three times per fight with a cool down period in between.


Nito, The First of the Dead

A large combination of living skulls and darkness, Nito can be described as the bringer of death. His body is that of a large skeleton, covered with literal other skeletons. With one large skull being his face, and the rest covering his body. Through the use of Yin and Yang, Nito is capable of reviving and controlling the skeletons of the un-dead.
Abilities :
Nito has the ability to control the bones on his body to create rudimentary weapons and defenses, as well as breathe life into them and other skulls on the field through the use o Yin and Yang.
Passive Abilities:
Nito is able to manifest small skeleton familiars that cause very little damage but act as distractions for the foe.
Due to his proficiency in creating life and death, Nito is able to return from the dead himself, once per battle (?)



Seath the Scaless

Seath, a powerful dragon that was born without any scales. Shunned, he betrayed his brethren. A white, slimy figure, Seath sails around with several tails and four translucent wings. A powerful user of both Poison and Crystal, he has developed unique skills in it.
Abilities :
Seath uses Storm energy through his mouth, and with a swing of his wings, he is able to manifest forth powerful crystals that easily cover the field. Seath through his research, was able to manifest forth thick clouds of poison as well.
Passive Abilities:
Due to his large size, Seath is able to slam one of his tails onto the ground, causing a powerful burst of Storm energy to rupture the ground and follow the foe like missiles.
Seath is able to create makeshift Crystal prisons, through firing an almost adhesive crystal mixture from his mouth which hardens on impact. This is B rank, and usable three times.



Priscilla, The Imprisoned One

A mixture of human and Dragon, Priscilla was imprisoned for some time. Despite her imprisonment, Priscilla is a fairly capable warrior. She has a white furry cloak and wields a massive Scythe. Through the use of her special techniques, she is capable of turning herself completely invisible to the naked eye, normally hide the shame of her heritage but fairly useful in battle as well.
Abilities :
Priscilla is able to turn herself invisible, covering even the smallest trace of her. She also wields a large Scythe, through which she channels her chakra and is able to cause lingering bleeding damage. She is also capable of using Ice Release.
Passive Abilities:
Priscilla's Scythe carries the capability to expand and stretch, allowing it to be used as a makeshift defense as well as be used to grapple and hook onto objects for a quick escape as it retracts.
With a swipe of her hand, Priscilla is able to cause a small scaled ice storm that ranges short range around her. This storm allows her to easily conceal herself but it also leaves the user to become one rank slower when touched by it.



Gwyndolin, The Dark Moon

An odd looking individual, with his face covered with the mask of the Sun. A formidable user of both Genjutsu and Yin release, Gwyndolin uses tactics to sway his targets. He is a rather short man, who hides behind several facades.
Abilities :
Gwyndolin is proficient in illusions to the extent of even fooling the highest calibre of foes. His combination of Genjutsu and Yin, makes him a dangerous foe. Furthermore, this is combined with a special usage of Yamanaka and Lightning Release.
Passive Abilities:
Gywndolin is able to create makeshift copies of himself, as well as create false surroundings that are intricate in nature, allowing him to manipulate the height, depth, width of any surrounding in order to fool or trap his foe.

I can't say there's much about me that stands out, really. Born with a unique bloodline, expectations were there. I had to be confident, strong-willed and courageous. I was none of those. My arms shook heavily when I drew the sword, my breath trembled when I focused my chakra and I fell off so many trees in an attempt to run up them. Horrible shinobi in the making. What I was good at, was sleeping. Oh, I could fall asleep anywhere. Probably fell asleep while writing this memoir. You get the idea. Anyway, years of training and harnessing what I have, only to shake in my boots when faced with any real danger. Barely the backstory of renowned shinobi, no?

Yet somehow, I'd gained a beginner level understanding of what it means to be a Shinobi. Loyalty and strength wouldn't come on their own - they were earned. I'd fall into the most peaceful of slumbers, my body weightless and a swift wind brushing against my cheek, only to find myself in a favorable position. This could only be explained in two ways: One, I am a Jinchuuriki! I'd learned about them, a beast within me riled me up and commandeered my body - a stronger me, faster me - a Zenitsu that knows no fear! But, it was also very unlikely, my chakra would be different, or something. Anyway, secondly, I have a guardian angel - someone who cares for me from the shadows. A maiden, maybe! Long black hair, blue eyes or maybe red like mine sometimes do?! I digress. The point of my memoir is that I'm not good, nor strong. But I have heart, and I'll do my best if it warrants it! (And shit my pants in the process).

Description: The user will have four seals on their body (must be stated in the biography) with the Kanji for “Curse” that can be passively activated (instant but still counts as a move) whenever the opponent uses a technique. The seal will will release an intangible barrier that expands outwards in all directions. The barrier instantly reaches long-range in every direction and serves to absorb chakra from the given technique in order to weaken it by a quarter . The amount of chakra absorbed is proportional to the power of the technique but one thing that remains the same is that the remaining technique will fall to three-quarters it's original power i.e. a 120 damage technique would fall to 90 damage (Forbidden Rank). The barrier is destroyed soon after coming into contact with the technique if it exceeds a traditional S-Rank in power but not before it leeches a quarter of it’s chakra in order to weaken it by the same degree. The user can instead activate two barriers rather than one to reduce the targeted technique to half it’s original power rather than a quarter. This will count as two of the user’s three moves per turn. This means this technique does not counter other jutsu in itself but rather aids the user in countering more powerful techniques by weakening them. Due to the barrier’s intangibility, it will can work on solid techniques as well as liquids, gases and energy-based techniques. It will also only shatter against non-physical techniques due to their ability to clash with the intangible barrier. The reason this seal needs to be passively activated (still counts as a move) is so the user can use a technique in the same-timeframe to counter the opponent's weakened jutsu. This technique can be used thrice per battle, be it three usages of the single version, three usages of the double version or any variation/combination of the two.

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for a specific element and it will lay dormant until the user is physically struck, be it by an attack, weapon or an opponent. Whenever the user is physically interacted with (e.g. punched, stabbed, shot), their body will instantly exhibit all of the properties of the chosen element. This doesn't mean their body merely has the properties of the element but rather when interacted with the targeted part(s) of the body will passively dissipate into storm energy or harden into steel (effect depends on the chosen element). If for example the user is stabbed and they turn into storm energy, the bladed weapon would merely phase through their energy-composed body and leave them unaffected. On the other side of the scale, if the user's body hardens into steel then the attack will simply do them no harm. After the attack or strike has passed through them, their body will automatically revert itself to it's normal appearance. Since this technique usually only applies to specific parts of the body, any unconverted portions of the user's body can still be moved/controlled/used as normal. While in this form, the user can only use the element they transformed into, the element's it's composed of and any combination of the aforementioned element as well as any non-elemental abilities. This technique enables the user to defend against A-Ranks and below of neutral elements (B-Ranks and below for weaknesses, S-Ranks and below for strengths). If the user is struck with an attack that will neutralize their transformation, the two cancel one another out and the user reverts to their original form unharmed. If the user is struck with an attack that overpowers their transformation, the user's body reverts to it's original form and sustains the remaining damage (after the collision of techniques). The only exception to this rule is if the two chosen elements have no sort of interaction with one another (e.g. Fire and Lightning), in which case rank differences will not matter. Regardless of how the user is hit, this can be a full body or partial transformation (depends on the user’s choice). Should they be struck by a physical attack capable of cancelling out their transformation (e.g. a sword streaming nagashi), the sword will remain inside them on reversion and they’ll be impaled by the blade.

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for "Eternal". The seal lies dormant and is passively activated whenever the opponent tries to seal or drain the user's chakra and/or abilities. The seal will instantly release an intangible barrier that surrounds the user's body like an armour. Any abilities which act externally such as the canon techniques Multiple Infinite Embraces or Living Barrier will be unable to affect anything inside the barrier, namely the user's body. Seals which act internally will first have their chakra be absorbed by the barrier (happens instantly and so before they can come into effect) and once erected, the barrier will prevent any further insertion of chakra while active. The seal is self-sustaining and will involuntary leech chakra from the user's body. This is for the express purpose of maintaining this technique even when the user can't use or mold chakra. This is possible as the chakra still exists within the user as it is equivalent of their very life-force. This can counter S-Rank and below sealing techniques. This cannot be activated manually and will only ever activate under the aforementioned conditions. It lasts for four turns or until the ability attempting to seal or drain the user's chakra or abilities is no longer active, whichever is longer.

Description: The user will have a seal placed on their body with the Kanji for a specific element. The seal can be passively activated in battle and it’s activation will restrict the user to a certain element (as well as the one’s it’s comprised of. In exchange for limiting the user to certain element(s), the user's techniques of the remaining elements will gain one rank and in the case of S-Ranks and above they will gain +20 damage. In the case of defensive and supplementary techniques, they will become capable of defending against techniques with 20 more damage points (only applies to S-Ranks and above). This counts as a passive boost rather than an active one due to the nature of the seal. To clearly illustrate the seal’s use in battle, if the user restricted themselves to Steel Release, they would still have access to Earth, Fire and any CE combinations of the aforementioned elements (elements that use solely earth, solely fire or Earth and Fire). Alternatively, the user can create the seal in the middle of a battle but this usage can only be used once. This usage is fast enough to be used in the same time-frame as the subsequent technique. Once activated, this technique lasts until canceled.

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.

Description: This seal must be either stated in the user's bio or placed on him before battle. This seal is linked to the users two strongest elemental abilities and only seeks to make them weaker in order to increase the power of the users Sealing Arts. When passively activated it will drain the user's two main elemental affinities of 10 points of chakra and damage automatically every time they're used, storing it within itself, and making the users techniques using those affinities weaker until its deactivated. It's true purpose will be triggered whenever the user utilizes the art of Fuuinjutsu, it will convert and release this stored power into any Fuuinjutsu technique whenever it is used, filling the technique with the energy it took from the user's elemental prowess. This results in every Fuuinjutsu technique the user uses gaining +1 Rank (if they’re A-Rank or below). On the other side, the main two elemental affinities of the user will automatically lose 10 damage and chakra each when they are used. Elements which are a combination of both of the weakened elements will also be weakened in the same way. This lasts until deactivated.

Medical Pills
(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills
Type: Supplementary
Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiry of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
Summoning

Description:
The Crotalinae are a selective species of snake summonings which were bred and assigned only to the greater of the snake contract signers. These species of Snake summonings specifically had evolved over time to have harder, more adaptable scales covering their body and an enhanced pit organ that naturally heightened their abilities to sense. This heightened sensing used through the pit organ seemingly was developed not only for predatory reasons but also for defensive measures against other predators. The sensing was exactly like the basics of any other snake, just taken to a higher level. Meaning they could sense minute vibrations up to a certain distance around them and even had an infrared optic map of the world before them. Typically, most snakes of the Crotalinae subfamily had natural infrared maps overlaid through their optic tectum, but with the Selective species being bred into existence it was heightened to the point of even being able to put this to use in the pitch black and in the darkest of times. The facial pit actually visualizes thermal radiation using the same optical principles as a pinhole camera, wherein the location of a source of thermal radiation/heat is determined by the location of the radiation on the membrane of the heat pit. The resolution on the infrared mapping through the heat pits has a very high resolution, which in turn allows the snakes to sense different levels of heat and cooler areas in extreme detail. Besides the sensing, their scales made for a greater form of defense, allowing them to survive harsher conditions and more damage than an average snake summoning. Not only were the scales on Crotalinae found to be more thicker and tougher than average, but they also held a passive ability to blend in with their environment by changing colors and becoming camouflaged. This coupled with their sensing made them very dangerous predators that were even able to escape other predator's perception if they didn't have some higher form of tracking or sensing.

Note: The Crotalinae Species can be summoned as generic snakes like the ones summoned in techniques such as: Summoning Technique: Giant Snakes, Summoning Technique: Three Headed Snakes, or Just the normal generic summoning technique, though instead of being normal snakes, they'd be of the Crotalinae subfamily. They won't take the place of those techniques, instead the user uses the generic summoning technique to summon Crotalinae, having to post this technique along with it but not costing an extra move.
Note: The sensing of minute vibrations and infrared mapping spans as far as an 100m radius, with larger snakes being able to sense the furthest due to their larger pit organs. Snakes under 40m in length can only sense up to 50m whole anything bigger can sense up to the maximum reach.
Note: The evolved scales allow the Crotalinae Species to take up to 20 more damage than average snake summonings of their rank. This is due to the thickness and tougher nature of the scaling covering the Crotalinae.

Robotic Horns

Formed like two horns, these metallic protrusions are formed directly from the users’ head. These two protrusions are outfitted with a

Robotic wings
Two large metallics wings made of aluminum. Shaped after the design and aesthetics of real eagle wings, the wings consist of sharp metallic feather like protrusions on the side. These are each sharpened like blades and can be shot towards the enemy. In order to achieve flight, the wings are outfitted with 2 cylindrical propellers which blend into the design of the wings. These are fueled through chakra and can be caused to spin at high speeds as well as allow for sustained flight. The wings are partitioned into 3 sections, capable of turning and folding, especially when retracting back into the users’ body.

Robotic shoes
Shaped like normal heels, these formations contain a hidden compartment within. Forming part of the Cyborgs body, the matte black painted heels are capable of extending their heels in a fast burst. By being equipped with a hydraulic spring, the heels sharp extension is capable of firing the heel with great force allowing it to propel the user into the air as well as act as a method to cause some added damage in close range.

Through being a cyborg, the user has replaced most of their mortal body with a robotic counter part. Utilizing cutting edge technology, the user’s face is capable of morphing as it changs for various circumstances.
Through the push of chakra, the user is able to cause the gears behind their altered face to turn, and allow extensions to emerge seemingly from beneath their skin, as it emerges to form into a mask that covers the initial face. This make-shift mask can be changed for cosmetic purposes, not only allowing the user to easily infiltrate places by wearing another face but also creating a protective covering to their face.
The mask carries within it, several tubes and filters that allow it to remove gases through a process to transform it into

Robotic scouters

Small Orbs from Prometheus:
Four small orbs that the user can release through various parts of their body. These small orbs are silver in color and carry very powerful mechanisms within them. Outfitted with a square shaped motherboard, a power source (500 watts), two cores, a small cylindrical fan, as well as a small interface in the shape of a circle.
The small orb also contains a gyroscope, and a small sonar-like monitor. The gyroscope allows the orbs to know where they are in relation to their environment as well as its height and depth. The motherboard speaks to the interface and throws out a beam, allowing it to scan the area around, feeding it back information as to the location as well as the height and depth. The two cores are easily capable of acting as the brain of the operation, processing information and relaying it back to the user telepathically through a small aerial that the user has embedded with them.

The orbs are capable of travelling up to Long Range from the user and give the user a detailed description of the environment. The orbs can also be carried within the users’ body, allowing the user to be able to discern their environment when under duress or restrictions placed upon them via Genjutsu or injury.

1. Worn like a monocle, the squared shape glass hangs over the users’ left eye. The glass is outfitted with a small mechanism, which converts the ambient heat of the environment onto a screen. This provides the user with an interface of the field before him. This allows the user to see various changes in heat, and allow the user to see sources of heat and through, gain a form of enhanced vision capable of eaisly tracking individuals even if they are hidden via chakra. The user will be able to roughly see the outline of things that give off heat, or lack it in relation to the environment.

Arm of the Devil

A robotic arm, outfitted several mechanisms and gears within, powered merely with Water and Fire chakra, and steam consistently. The arm bellows steam through several pores, as it moves and is manipulated by the user. The user uses the arm as an extension or replacement of their own arm, capable of easily bringing it out for battle. The arm covers from the users’ hand all the way to their elbow.
The arm is colored in a dark matte color, and carries all the normal specifications of an arm. Being robotic, the arm is capable of spinning around 360 degrees as well as being removed. Being powered by steam through the rapid condensation caused by Water and Fire chakra, the arm can be boosted to deliver strikes at twice the users’ speed.
The arm’s fingers are outfitted with a powerful extension cables of high resistance, allowing the user to fire the fingers for use of locomotion as well as a method of fighting in close range. Through the focus of Fire chakra, the fingers can be heated to an extremely high temperature causing them to become make-shift bullets as they can be fired and retracted through the cable, and pulled back into the hand by a make-shift wheel outfitted within the bulky arm.
The extension cables can be charged with chakra and enhanced greatly?
At the center of the palm, the hand is configured with a small mechanism, in the shape of an orb. The circle sizzles, capable of unleashing heated steam (equal to A rank) after being heated for one turn at least, and usable for two turns after (then has to be done again) as well as being able to unleash streaming techniques of either Water or Fire chakra through it.
Suitcase:
A rather ambiguous weapon shaped like a suitcase and carried by the user. The suitcase is black in color and lined with gold, sporting a luxurious trim. Through forcing chakra into the suitcase, the user is able to shape and form the suitcase into several weapons.
Gatling:

The suitcase bursts open revealing two cylindrical fans on the outside of the suitcase allowing it to hover in the air around the user. The internal gold lined metal is formed into the shape of a large gatling gun that rises up, and is powered via chakra. Where a normal shot would be fired, chakra instead replaces it and allows the user to fire chakra based bullets in rapid succession.
The gatling gun spins furiously as it fires and is capable of firing at odd angles due to its flight mechanisms.
Bazooka:
The suitcase slims, and between the two partitions a section opens in the shape of a large firing mechanism. Within it, fire chakra is rapidly heated and manipulated, allowing the user to fire from it, condensed orbs of flame. In this state, the user carries the suitcase upon their shoulder for better aiming capabilities.

I can't say there's much about me that stands out, really. Born with a unique bloodline, expectations were there. I had to be confident, strong-willed and courageous. I was none of those. My arms shook heavily when I drew the sword, my breath trembled when I focused my chakra and I fell off so many trees in an attempt to run up them. Horrible shinobi in the making. What I was good at, was sleeping. Oh, I could fall asleep anywhere. Probably fell asleep while writing this memoir. You get the idea. Anyway, years of training and harnessing what I have, only to shake in my boots when faced with any real danger. Barely the backstory of renowned shinobi, no?

Yet somehow, I'd gained a beginner level understanding of what it means to be a Shinobi. Loyalty and strength wouldn't come on their own - they were earned. I'd fall into the most peaceful of slumbers, my body weightless and a swift wind brushing against my cheek, only to find myself in a favorable position. This could only be explained in two ways: One, I am a Jinchuuriki! I'd learned about them, a beast within me riled me up and commandeered my body - a stronger me, faster me - a Zenitsu that knows no fear! But, it was also very unlikely, my chakra would be different, or something. Anyway, secondly, I have a guardian angel - someone who cares for me from the shadows. A maiden, maybe! Long black hair, blue eyes or maybe red like mine sometimes do?! I digress. The point of my memoir is that I'm not good, nor strong. But I have heart, and I'll do my best if it warrants it! (And shit my pants in the process).

Description: The user will have four seals on their body (must be stated in the biography) with the Kanji for “Curse” that can be passively activated (instant but still counts as a move) whenever the opponent uses a technique. The seal will will release an intangible barrier that expands outwards in all directions. The barrier instantly reaches long-range in every direction and serves to absorb chakra from the given technique in order to weaken it by a quarter . The amount of chakra absorbed is proportional to the power of the technique but one thing that remains the same is that the remaining technique will fall to three-quarters it's original power i.e. a 120 damage technique would fall to 90 damage (Forbidden Rank). The barrier is destroyed soon after coming into contact with the technique if it exceeds a traditional S-Rank in power but not before it leeches a quarter of it’s chakra in order to weaken it by the same degree. The user can instead activate two barriers rather than one to reduce the targeted technique to half it’s original power rather than a quarter. This will count as two of the user’s three moves per turn. This means this technique does not counter other jutsu in itself but rather aids the user in countering more powerful techniques by weakening them. Due to the barrier’s intangibility, it will can work on solid techniques as well as liquids, gases and energy-based techniques. It will also only shatter against non-physical techniques due to their ability to clash with the intangible barrier. The reason this seal needs to be passively activated (still counts as a move) is so the user can use a technique in the same-timeframe to counter the opponent's weakened jutsu. This technique can be used thrice per battle, be it three usages of the single version, three usages of the double version or any variation/combination of the two.

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for a specific element and it will lay dormant until the user is physically struck, be it by an attack, weapon or an opponent. Whenever the user is physically interacted with (e.g. punched, stabbed, shot), their body will instantly exhibit all of the properties of the chosen element. This doesn't mean their body merely has the properties of the element but rather when interacted with the targeted part(s) of the body will passively dissipate into storm energy or harden into steel (effect depends on the chosen element). If for example the user is stabbed and they turn into storm energy, the bladed weapon would merely phase through their energy-composed body and leave them unaffected. On the other side of the scale, if the user's body hardens into steel then the attack will simply do them no harm. After the attack or strike has passed through them, their body will automatically revert itself to it's normal appearance. Since this technique usually only applies to specific parts of the body, any unconverted portions of the user's body can still be moved/controlled/used as normal. While in this form, the user can only use the element they transformed into, the element's it's composed of and any combination of the aforementioned element as well as any non-elemental abilities. This technique enables the user to defend against A-Ranks and below of neutral elements (B-Ranks and below for weaknesses, S-Ranks and below for strengths). If the user is struck with an attack that will neutralize their transformation, the two cancel one another out and the user reverts to their original form unharmed. If the user is struck with an attack that overpowers their transformation, the user's body reverts to it's original form and sustains the remaining damage (after the collision of techniques). The only exception to this rule is if the two chosen elements have no sort of interaction with one another (e.g. Fire and Lightning), in which case rank differences will not matter. Regardless of how the user is hit, this can be a full body or partial transformation (depends on the user’s choice). Should they be struck by a physical attack capable of cancelling out their transformation (e.g. a sword streaming nagashi), the sword will remain inside them on reversion and they’ll be impaled by the blade.

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for "Eternal". The seal lies dormant and is passively activated whenever the opponent tries to seal or drain the user's chakra and/or abilities. The seal will instantly release an intangible barrier that surrounds the user's body like an armour. Any abilities which act externally such as the canon techniques Multiple Infinite Embraces or Living Barrier will be unable to affect anything inside the barrier, namely the user's body. Seals which act internally will first have their chakra be absorbed by the barrier (happens instantly and so before they can come into effect) and once erected, the barrier will prevent any further insertion of chakra while active. The seal is self-sustaining and will involuntary leech chakra from the user's body. This is for the express purpose of maintaining this technique even when the user can't use or mold chakra. This is possible as the chakra still exists within the user as it is equivalent of their very life-force. This can counter S-Rank and below sealing techniques. This cannot be activated manually and will only ever activate under the aforementioned conditions. It lasts for four turns or until the ability attempting to seal or drain the user's chakra or abilities is no longer active, whichever is longer.

Description: The user will have a seal placed on their body with the Kanji for a specific element. The seal can be passively activated in battle and it’s activation will restrict the user to a certain element (as well as the one’s it’s comprised of. In exchange for limiting the user to certain element(s), the user's techniques of the remaining elements will gain one rank and in the case of S-Ranks and above they will gain +20 damage. In the case of defensive and supplementary techniques, they will become capable of defending against techniques with 20 more damage points (only applies to S-Ranks and above). This counts as a passive boost rather than an active one due to the nature of the seal. To clearly illustrate the seal’s use in battle, if the user restricted themselves to Steel Release, they would still have access to Earth, Fire and any CE combinations of the aforementioned elements (elements that use solely earth, solely fire or Earth and Fire). Alternatively, the user can create the seal in the middle of a battle but this usage can only be used once. This usage is fast enough to be used in the same time-frame as the subsequent technique. Once activated, this technique lasts until canceled.

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.

Description: This seal must be either stated in the user's bio or placed on him before battle. This seal is linked to the users two strongest elemental abilities and only seeks to make them weaker in order to increase the power of the users Sealing Arts. When passively activated it will drain the user's two main elemental affinities of 10 points of chakra and damage automatically every time they're used, storing it within itself, and making the users techniques using those affinities weaker until its deactivated. It's true purpose will be triggered whenever the user utilizes the art of Fuuinjutsu, it will convert and release this stored power into any Fuuinjutsu technique whenever it is used, filling the technique with the energy it took from the user's elemental prowess. This results in every Fuuinjutsu technique the user uses gaining +1 Rank (if they’re A-Rank or below). On the other side, the main two elemental affinities of the user will automatically lose 10 damage and chakra each when they are used. Elements which are a combination of both of the weakened elements will also be weakened in the same way. This lasts until deactivated.

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills

Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiry of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.

Description:
The Crotalinae are a selective species of snake summonings which were bred and assigned only to the greater of the snake contract signers. These species of Snake summonings specifically had evolved over time to have harder, more adaptable scales covering their body and an enhanced pit organ that naturally heightened their abilities to sense. This heightened sensing used through the pit organ seemingly was developed not only for predatory reasons but also for defensive measures against other predators. The sensing was exactly like the basics of any other snake, just taken to a higher level. Meaning they could sense minute vibrations up to a certain distance around them and even had an infrared optic map of the world before them. Typically, most snakes of the Crotalinae subfamily had natural infrared maps overlaid through their optic tectum, but with the Selective species being bred into existence it was heightened to the point of even being able to put this to use in the pitch black and in the darkest of times. The facial pit actually visualizes thermal radiation using the same optical principles as a pinhole camera, wherein the location of a source of thermal radiation/heat is determined by the location of the radiation on the membrane of the heat pit. The resolution on the infrared mapping through the heat pits has a very high resolution, which in turn allows the snakes to sense different levels of heat and cooler areas in extreme detail. Besides the sensing, their scales made for a greater form of defense, allowing them to survive harsher conditions and more damage than an average snake summoning. Not only were the scales on Crotalinae found to be more thicker and tougher than average, but they also held a passive ability to blend in with their environment by changing colors and becoming camouflaged. This coupled with their sensing made them very dangerous predators that were even able to escape other predator's perception if they didn't have some higher form of tracking or sensing.

Note: The Crotalinae Species can be summoned as generic snakes like the ones summoned in techniques such as: Summoning Technique: Giant Snakes, Summoning Technique: Three Headed Snakes, or Just the normal generic summoning technique, though instead of being normal snakes, they'd be of the Crotalinae subfamily. They won't take the place of those techniques, instead the user uses the generic summoning technique to summon Crotalinae, having to post this technique along with it but not costing an extra move.
Note: The sensing of minute vibrations and infrared mapping spans as far as an 100m radius, with larger snakes being able to sense the furthest due to their larger pit organs. Snakes under 40m in length can only sense up to 50m whole anything bigger can sense up to the maximum reach.
Note: The evolved scales allow the Crotalinae Species to take up to 20 more damage than average snake summonings of their rank. This is due to the thickness and tougher nature of the scaling covering the Crotalinae.

The Eldritch Truth
An understanding of things beyond this world. Intertwined with the cosmos and the will of the Great Ones, the Eldritch Truth is only attained through understanding the greater will of the Great Ones, and being able to manifest their will onto this world and plane.
Born through a manifestation of Old Blood and experimentation, communing with the Great Ones brought forth a knowledge no one could attest to, nor comprehend. Without the proper precautions, those exposed to the Eldritch Truth either became mad or abominations of their former selves.
The Ancient Ptumerians
Hidden deep with the earth lay ruins of an ancient and lost city. Ruined and destroyed, all that remained were the husks of former humans who lived there. However, they were physically abnormal, large in size and almost grey in color. On their walls, they depicted an ancient ritual of Blood Ministration. There, a young man named Laurence, would find the blood. Laurence formed part of a group known as Clerics, who worked for the larger church.
A deep dark red blood would become commonplace, kept with the intention to be consumed regularly, and to gain an audience with something not of this world. A fact not known to the common populace, with who the blood was shared to heal diseases and extend their waning lives. Laurence and a few other clerics would bring this to the surface, without knowing what havoc it would wreak in the hands of the illustrious church.
Partaking in blood would cause an enhancement of strength, vitality and overall abilities however, it also brought forth a deeper, unknown presence forth that resided in the people of then. The very thing that brought destruction to the Ancient Ptumerians, the Beastly Scourge. While the church knew of its effects on the common people, the blood also stored something deeper, a pathway to the Great Ones. Beings not of this world, known to possess unnatural abilities and powers.

The Scourge would create beasts out of men, and quickly turn them into hideous beasts, leaving very little of their former selves. It would infect the entirety of the small, self formed village, turning them into vile beasts as time went on. Laurence held on, the salvation he brought to his family, his friends, also turned them to beasts. He would turn on the church, as they formed a band of hunters to take out any that possess the beastly scourge, or became blood drunk.

Members of the Oldest House exist as an anomaly in the Ninja World. Their first members are unknown but were always inextricably linked to The Board. An ominous, para-natural phenomena, often expressed as an upside down black pyramid, that doesn't exist within this realm but rather within a linked dimension accessible to the members known as the Astral Plane. The Board has a direct link to the Director, who acts as the de-facto leader that carries out the will and orders of the Board. Their presence, always looming and in the background, members of the Oldest House reside all over the Ninja World.
They acted as puppeteers, steering the world in the direction they desired, be it for good or bad. Description: Named after one of Gwyn’s Knights, a simple Draconium technique where the user will manifest forth a large entity known as Ornstein upon the field made of a more stable Draconium energy, giving it form and substance. Crackling into creation, the entity is reminiscent of a large man-like creature, wielding a massive hammer and armor upon its body shining in a golden hue. It’s large body can passively be expanded and contracted through the fluid nature of Draconium, allowing it to be easily utilized for a variety of uses, capable of stretching up to Mid range through length and width. It’s primary use is for defense, allowing the user to create Ornstein to block entities and techniques it comes into contact with. Shifting its balance to be more Yin oriented, Ornstein becomes capable of sapping chakra from techniques, making them weaker. Through the use of his Hammer as well as his body, Ornstein can easily interact with various techniques. Upon interaction with various techniques, Ornstein would become pure gold in color as various sealing marks flow through him, the Yin aspect of the element saps chakra for his own sustenance and autonomy and the Fuuinjutsu aspect would seal the remaining chakra, utilizing it for a more offensive output. With each interaction, the two aspects would equally divide the chakra up to and including S ranks of elements, as Draconium is neutral to all. Ornstein can take in a maximum of 200 chakra (for own sustenance and output respectively) and can output a maximum of 80 damage at a time before requiring another turn cool-down. Ornstein’s output is in the form of Draconium’s offensive aspect, capable of unleashing powerful bursts of shocking energy through the use of the Hammer or through direct interaction with the opponent/techniques. Both aspects can be used at the same time, however only up to 3 times. Alternatively, if only one aspect is used, it can be done up to 4 times (only sealing or only only sapping for sustenance). Ornstein is able to take up to A rank and below damage, and can reform damaged areas after a turn. The technique in total can only be used 4 times with a two turn cool down in between and lasts for three turns. No A rank and above Draconium techniques when this technique ends.

Description: Named after an ancient order, the user will form two hand seals and slam their hand onto a surface (land, air, water, etc) or alternatively an extra hand seal when in conjunction with other techniques. Several orbs of light will initially form at the place of creation and from it, several entities would emerge. A large myriad of human-like deacons clad in cloaks would form around the targeted area. The Draconium energy would allow them be stable in nature. Through raising their hands, the deacons would utilize their Yin nature to draw in massive amounts of chakra from the targeted area. This can be done to nullify techniques before they form/as they form, as well as break the balance of a technique. Their use however, goes further as the Deacons are capable of injecting a sudden surge of Yin chakra into entities, creating an imbalance in the chakra, and causing the technique to fail. This can only be done on techniques/modes that require chakra to be sustained through turns. The Deacons, large in number, easily overwhelm the foe, easily making it a technique that can be used to break down a technique before it’s released. Alternatively, the Deacons can also be paired with other Draconium techniques in the same turn, but would restrict the user to B rank and below Draconium techniques for two turns and can only be used with A rank and below Draconium techniques.
