Standing at six feet tall, Kōtetsu has poisonous crimson eyes and full-body scars that were inflicted by the continuous fighting in his youth; the most recognizable scar being the large one on his left cheek. Though a bit spiky, his black hair is soft to the touch, and he sports a buzz cut on the sides. It's usually adorned with feathers and a raccoon tail at the nape of his neck, which is worn draped over his left shoulder to rest in the front. His new attire consists of a high-collared black trench coat that split into three separate segments starting from just below his waist, a gray collared shirt with gold buttons, black trousers, black cuban heeled boots, and a pair of red gloves. He also wears two belts that form an 'X' around his waist that holds his sword in place on the back of his waist, and the buckle is fashioned after the Konohagakure headband with a gash running through it. The belts are made of a special fiber that when removed from his waist, forms a three section stave that can be used to fight. By connecting the joints of the staves and bending them, they can be returned to their belt form. He wears a black armband with a red crimson moon embroidery on his left bicep, and on his left shoulder is a disfigured Anbu Black Ops tattoo, which serves as a reminder of the time he spent in service of the 6th Hokage.

Kōtetsu was a man who had never known a real family, and never had the chance to feel truly loved by anyone. Being betrayed by the two people he would have expected such idealistic family nonsense from certainly did nothing to help shape him into a decent human being. His sharp tongue and crudity are only outmatched by his sheer bad temper, and he looks down on almost everyone else around him. Though he doesn't throw childish tantrums, it's clear that not getting his way upsets him a great deal. Don't be mistaken, he does tantrum if angered enough, but it’s generally done in the quiet, heated sort of way that screams of danger and things ill-fated to be destroyed by his rage.

基礎的な情報|BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The events of his past didn't make for a particularly interesting story, but the group of people sitting across from him were eager to hear it nonetheless. Tonight was one of celebration, for the monstrous wolf that plagued the Lupus Den over the past few months had been slain, and the people of the Hó’nehe tribe seemed intent on celebrating well into the night. The Inuzuka leaned back into Siris' fur and recalled the story of his past. He told them of how is parent's had shunned him, and about how his father had been manipulated into attempting to kill him, only to be killed instead. He told them about his time in Anbu, and of the two close friends who had betrayed him. He told them of his village, Konoha, and how it's Kage had wanted him dead but was too weak to carry out the task himself. He told them of how he was exiled and came to confront one of his betrayers and the Akatsuki, only to be defeated before barely managing to escape. He told them of how he met Kagutsuchi and acquired his ninken, about his possible relations to Ancrath, and about a particular person he wanted to meet. He told them of how he found his way here and accidentally freed Fenris, only to have it run rampant in the Redwood Forest. Lastly, he told them of how the three of them had defeated the monster, by merging together into a single entity the Inuzuka and his partners became just as monstrous as their foe, but with their strength and wit, they were able to eventually wound and kill the beast.
As Kotetsu finished his story could see a grim expression on the faces of his audience. Like him, they too had undergone hardships, some more so than others, and they understood his pain. The understood his rage. They understood the path he'd chosen. In the months that he'd spent with them, he'd come to understand that they were what was referred to as the Vashoth, Grey Ones, people who had rejected a sort of religious text known as the Qun and lived in exile. Because of this, they were constantly pursued before they settled into the Land of Wolf. This group of outcasts had taken him in, more so for his ability to slay Fenris than anything else, and not only taught him how to speak qunlat, the language that they spoke but also how to control his horrible temper. With the threat to the forest dealt with and the party coming to a close, he decided to retire for the night. He wondered how much longer he could stay with them now that his purpose was complete, and if, for all his flaws, he'd ever find another group of people who truly understood and accepted him. No. He knew it. There wasn't anywhere else for him but here. As he approached his tent Solaris alerted him to a presence within, a familiar one. He entered to find a small animal bearing a message, and he immediately knew who it was from. It contained a time and a place. Great. Even after such a battle, he couldn't rest.
The Inuzuka gathered his things quietly and donned his new attire, fastened Kusanagi to the back of his waist, and placed the Anbu mask over his face. He and his ninken stepped outside his tent just before dawn to find Ze'ev standing beside it. He's noticed her of course but hoped that she'd leave eventually, but she didn't. It was as if she knew what his intentions were from the beginning. She didn't speak but instead executed a gesture by placing her hand over her heart with three fingers. He knew what it meant. Ebost En. Return soon. Kotetsu chuckled under his mask and set off immediately towards the land of lightning. it was time to reintegrated himself with the world, and his first stop was Kumogakure. After a day at sea, he infiltrated the village with little difficulty and quickly made his way to his destination. Tartarus. The prison where his target was located. Getting there had been easy, but getting into it was a different story. The Inuzuka reached out to touch Siris and fused into his body just before the ninken turned invisible, rendering any form of sensing useless against his absolute stealth. Unable to see them the guards could do nothing as the ninken slipped by them and descended to the lowest levels of Tartarus. In the bottom part of the pit was a single prisoner, and even though it was too dark see his face, what little light there was gleamed off of his silvery hair. As the ninken broke his stealth and came to stand before the sender of the message, he heard the sounds of chains rattling as the man stirred, and his indigo eyes slowly pierced through the darkness.
Kotetsu knew the man had the ability to free himself, but doing so now wouldn't benefit either of them, nor speed up the plan they'd come up with a year ago, and so he would remain here until the time was right, keeping watch over everything through the eyes of the animals he commanded. The man's voice was barely a whisper, but the Inuzuka's hearing was able to pick it up without trouble. He was told about the island to the south where a man by the name of Berserker was gathering rouge shinobi and wage war against the great nations, and bring an end to the hidden villages. Of course, the indigo eyed man had received an invitation to join his cause, but Kotetsu would go in his stead. After all, something like this was exactly what they needed. The indigo eyes vanished from sight and the chains rattled from the last time as the silver haired man returned to his original position. The ninken returned to his stealth and left the Tartarus, once again effortlessly slipping past the guards. From there Kotetsu emerged from his body and the three headed south for the Land of Moon.
The Inuzuka arrived on the island to find that it had been turned completely into steel, and he got there just in time to witness a meeting between these rouges. After a brief exchange of snide remakes with Berserker, he was accepted into their ranks, and it was here that the Black King renamed the Island to Kurogakure, and choose Iwagakure as their first target before setting out. The fighting ensued as soon as they arrived, but Kotetsu made it his main priority to observe the abilities of his 'allies'. There was Avenger and his ability to produce explosions, Mand'alor the Indomitable with his mechanical suit, and Berserker's ability to manipulate and produce steel. He would have been able to observe more, but as he crossed the Kanabi bridge to enter the inner village, he found himself attacked by a strange woman. He and Siris made quick work of her, cut off her head, and dumped her body in the chasm beneath the bridge. The Iwarian's fought hard but were easily defeated, and the members of Kurogakure returned to the steel island victorious. After a few weeks, another meeting was held while Kotetsu was away making certain preparations, leaving Siris to observe the proceedings, but something unexpected happen. With just a few simple words Berserker had condemned the entirety of Kirigakure, their allies, and attack the Mizukage. This turn of events forced The Inuzuka to rush back to the island, and upon arriving he burst into the throne room that was located in the central tower, reuniting with his ninken. The first thing he noticed was the Mizukage's lifeless body sprawled out on the floor, and next to him was a pile of ashes that used to be a person. There were various fights taking place throughout the room, but Kotetsu did nothing but watch. The Black King had betrayed Kirigakure before they could betray him, and their Kage was the first to fall.
The leftover shinobi of Kirigakure fell one after the other until not a single one remained, and the shortest war in Kurogakure's campaign came to a close. In addition, Judal had also been killed after his solitary rebellion ended in a failure, and Kotetsu was there to witness it all. But that wasn't the only thing that happened. The Inuzuka came face to face with the Dark Lord for the first time. A man with pale white skin, who had no hair or lips. Everything about him was strange, and he disappeared almost as quickly as he appeared, but the Inuzuka would never forget him or his scent. The man radiated power from his very being, enough to make even him, who had long since lost the ability to fell fear shudder. With the man's disappearance, however, the Dark Council resumed as if nothing had happened in the first place. Berserker announced that Kurogakure would temporarily disband until the war between Konoha and Sunagakure came to an end, and gave them all a communication scroll so that he could contact them when the time came. Everyone went there separate ways for the first time in months, but Kotetsu wasn't done. He had one more thing to do. Kotetsu trailed one of Berserker's minions, the one known as Mand'alor the Indomitable, to O'uzu Island in order to learn more about his motives.
The two spoke for some time, with Kotetsu giving him a glimpse of his real objectives, and in return, the Mandalore spoke of the first time he'd met Berserker, and why he remained at his side until now. heir conversation reached a turning point when the Inuzuka mentioned the cycle he'd seen repeat itself countless times. He told the Mandalore that hard times created strong men. That strong men created good times. That good times created weak men, and weak men created hard times. He then posed a simple question; was the Mandalore strong, or was he weak? However, the man took this as an attack at his on his pride and challenged the Inuzuka to battle, a battle he had no qualms about accepting. His fight against Mand'alor the Indomitable was a fierce one, probably the hardest battle he'd fought in a long time, but in the end Kotetsu emerged victorious after cutting his foe to shreds, and after he gave the finishing blow a woman's voice came from the ring the man wore on his finger. "Ringbearers. The time has come to gather. It is time that our purpose be made known to all. You all must make your way to the Ancrath Archipelago". Kotetsu removed the ring from his foe and placed it on his left pinky finger as he brought it to his lips, and replied with a single work. "Understood".

As a member of the Inuzuka Clan Kōtetsu has greatly enhanced senses, especially his sense of smell and his sense of hearing. By concentrating chakra to his nose his sense of smell is amplified to an even greater extent, allowing him to detect, track, and monitor targets from a fair distance away. He maintains a permanent fusion with Serius, Siris, and Solaris through the use of Fenrir's Lesser Oblige, which serve to enhance his senses to the point where he can accurately gauge the strength of both people and techniques.

Given to him by Kagutsuchi, Solaris, Serius, and Siris are High Breeds and Kōtetsu's constant companions. As High Breeds, they're not only faster, stronger, and larger than normal ninken, but are also capable of human speech. These three are a rare breed of tiger-wolves, and share a mental link with their Inuzuka partner. They're covered in sleek golden fur on the top portion of their body, flowing white fur on the bottom, and numerous black stripes that litter their coat. The fur on the sides of their necks is knotted together by multiple red beads. They stand at five feet tall, are six feet in length, and wear gold colored bracers on each leg, which when twisted in a certain manner can momentarily release a short blade three inches in length from within. As a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create them, many high breeds have experienced genetic mutations, and these three are no different. Solaris' genetic mutation resulted in her being born with two tails that she can control separately, while Siris suffers from heterochromia, a mutation that resulted in one of his eyes being crimson, and the other an amber-like color. Like his brother, Serius also suffers from, which leaves him with one eye being crimson, and the other a light blue color.

Description: This technique was designed to rectify the weaknesses of managing multiple bodies within Battle. Many Inuzuka found that their Ninkens became easy targets for area of effect Ninjutsu techniques, and often experienced problems with defending from widespread attacks without compromising their Ninkens health or position. As such this technique was developed as a fix for these flaws. This technique allows an Inuzuka to enter into a lasting fusion with their Ninken(s). While fused the Ninken will inhabit the users body and the user will gain the ability to use techniques that require 'Four Legged Beast' transformation as a perquisite and will also gain the senses of their Ninken. The Ninken(s) will be aware of the world through the users senses however their mind and chakra systems will remain separate. Description: This technique was designed to rectify the weaknesses of managing multiple bodies within Battle. Many Inuzuka found that their Ninkens became easy targets for area of effect Ninjutsu techniques, and often experienced problems with defending from widespread attacks without compromising their Ninkens health or position. As such this technique was developed as a fix for these flaws. This technique allows an Inuzuka to enter into a lasting fusion with their Ninken(s). While fused the Ninken will inhabit the users body and the user will gain the ability to use techniques that require 'Four Legged Beast' transformation as a perquisite and will also gain the senses of their Ninken. The Ninken(s) will be aware of the world through the users senses however their mind and chakra systems will remain separate. Given to him by Kagutsuchi, Solaris, Serius, and Siris are High Breeds and Kōtetsu's constant companions. As High Breeds, they're not only faster, stronger, and larger than normal ninken, but are also capable of human speech. These three are a rare breed of tiger-wolves, and share a mental link with their Inuzuka partner. They're covered in sleek golden fur on the top portion of their body, flowing white fur on the bottom, and numerous black stripes that litter their coat. The fur on the sides of their necks is knotted together by multiple red beads. They stand at five feet tall, are six feet in length, and wear gold colored bracers on each leg, which when twisted in a certain manner can momentarily release a short blade three inches in length from within. As a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create them, many high breeds have experienced genetic mutations, and these three are no different. Solaris' genetic mutation resulted in her being born with two tails that she can control separately, while Siris suffers from heterochromia, a mutation that resulted in one of his eyes being crimson, and the other an amber-like color. Like his brother, Serius also suffers from, which leaves him with one eye being crimson, and the other a light blue color.

Description: After decades of research and selective breeding the High Breed were born, the High Breed, bred to be genetically superior to all other Ninkens immediately displayed talents that completely overshadowed that of lesser breeds from a young age. High Breed's are born with a more robust constitution, resulting in them being larger, stronger and faster than other breeds. They also look far more wolf-like as a result of their wolf-rich bloodline. High Breeds display savage intellect, and are capable of exercising great cunning and problem solving abilities; and as a result of their advanced intellect they have gained the ability of articulation. Other talents include a healing factor, senses twice as strong as a normal Ninken's, and a greater synergy with their Inuzuka counterparts; resulting in fusion and transformation techniques used with a High Breed being a third larger, with time-limited fusion techniques having their duration increased by two turns. However High Breed's have been known to reject their Inuzuka counterparts, entering into a faux relationship for a time, and then turning on their paired Inuzuka the moment they have grown large enough to kill their ill-suited partners. As a result the High Breed were kept secret and many voted for their extermination, but in the end they were merely banished into the woods of Konohagakure, kept alive in case the clan should have need for them in the future. However, should a High Breed fully accept an Inuzuka a most curious phenomenon will occur in which both the High Breed and Inuzuka will become mentally linked, capable of sharing thoughts, feelings and experiences with each other, with such a deeply intimate bond being the absolute apex of a Inuzuka and Ninken bond. A High Breeds ability to 'smell' chakra is also unprecedented, far outstripping that of Ninken such as Akamaru as they are capable of accurately gauging the strength of opponents and techniques among other things. (To be explored further in techniques). Lastly, as a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create High Breeds, many High Breeds have experienced genetic mutations, some more simple, such as heterochromia, others more noticeable such as having multiple tails, a paw that's far larger than others, exceptionally long claws and so on. The High Breed also hold a greater affinity to chakra than normal Ninken, ensuring that they excel at walking on water, tree climbing and chakra based Inuzuka techniques, with their actual chakra being dense and bountiful, holding a chakra supply equal to half of their Inuzuka partner and also possessing an affinity towards at least one element. (A high breed cannot use Ninjutsu or elemental Taijutsu (Aside from Inuzuka techniques of course) by default, instead their supposed affinities are there to be explored in future techniques).

Kōtetsu has exceptionally high chakra control, and is capable of chaining together techniques with great speed and switching between elemental affinities with ease. He has a natural affinity for water and is capable of manipulating the element with a single hand seal, though he only makes use of it when he deems it necessary.

He took a liking to Katon due to its eccentric and spontaneous nature, and it became his main means of attack during battle. Though it was not his primary affinity he mastered the element in its entirety and is able to perform the hand seals for its techniques faster than other shinobi.
(剣術) Kenjutsu
Kōtetsu first used a katana when he began training with the Anbu Black Ops, but only became really interested in the Sword Arts after he stole Kusanagi from the Hidden Sound Village. The physical training he undertook to supplement his sword skills ultimately allowed him to swing his sword faster than other swordsmen, and he studied kendo relentlessly in order to become proficient in its stances. After mastering the sword arts in their entirety Kōtetsu eventually received the title of "Kenshin", meaning Sword God. To commemorate what would possibly be the last time the two would ever meet, Keotsu discovered a way to impart the abilities of his own weapon upon Kōtetsu's blade, a ritual that greatly enhanced the power of his kenjutsu techniques from that moment onward.

(無限ワン剣様式) Infinite One-Sword Style
The IOSS usually required a unique case that held a multitude of blades, but because of its size Kōtetsu found it difficult to carry around. He combated this problem by having the case sealed within a small specialized scroll that he keeps strapped to the right side of his waist. By simply opening the scroll the case will appear, or he can throw the scroll skyward to summon the weapons directly.
(Mugen Ittōryū) Infinite One-Sword Style
(体術) Taijutsu
Taijutsu went hand in hand with Kenjutsu, and without first mastering his own body he couldn't hope to master the sword. Armed with sharp nails and teeth, Kōtetsu's hand-to-hand combat is extremely dangerous, and after years of fighting in close quarters, he became proficient in the field. As a member of the Inuzuka clan, he receives a +10 damage boost to his hand related taijutsu. He has a quick reaction time, honed reflexes, increased physical strength, and is incredibly fast. His flexibility and dexterity also make him more than a formidable opponent for other taijutsu users of his own rank, and his prowess in the field allowed him to receive special weight training. As a practitioner of Hassan no Hōhō Kōtetsu has lost the ability to naturally feel fear, which allows him to not only receive blows without faltering but to also focus more on fighting.

(封印術) Fuuinjutsu
Kōtetsu has a number of seals across his body, both to protect and empower him. The first seal Raikō Kenka is located on the bottom of his wrists. The second seal, Nankaina Oshie, is located on his left arm. The third seal, Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu, is located on his left shoulder blade.
(天上罰当たり印) Cursed Seal of Heaven
Forced upon him during his escaped in the Sound Village, Kōtetsu bears a Curse Mark on his right shoulder that allows him to transform to varying degrees. The mark contains Senjutsu chakra, which considerably boosts his strength when opened. The first stage of his Cursed Seal creates an assortment of crimson tattoos that spread across his body, their shape reminiscent of large tears from an animal's claw. After some time the Inuzuka's Cursed Seal progressed to level two, and with it, he obtained the ability to transform into an otherworldly form. When this form is activated the already distinguished claw marks consume him completely in a crimson aura as they bulge and expand. Kotetsu's transformation stays true to his Inuzuka lineage, and his body structure morphs to resemble that of a werewolf-like form. Sleek fur protrudes from his body to create a mix between glistening black fur and dark, leather-like skin. His hands grow conveniently to become a mixture between hands and paws, which allows him to still perform hand seals, and a thick, majestic tail erupts from his tail bone.
He becomes capable assuming either a two legged or four legged posture thanks to his wonderfully developed muscle structure. The front of his upper chest, neck, and face remain unchanged, except for his now glowing crimson pupils and black sclera, more pronounced feral like snout, and his fully morphed triangular, canine-like ears. His hair, however, would erupt into a wild mane that would cascade down and around his neck and back. In addition to this, he grows a large set of bat-like wings from his back, granting him the ability of flight.
(技法を召喚鼠と蟇) Summoning Techniques, Rats & Doves
Kōtetsu is the holder of the Rat Summoning Contract, which includes all rodents under the Rattus Genus that reside within the Underland of the Ninja World. He also has access to the Rat Techniques, the supporting ninjutsu of the Rat Contract. He possesses a small tattoo for this summoning contract on the back of his right hand. He is also a signer of the Columbidae Contract, which includes all Doves that dwell in Eden. He has access to a number of animals tied to the contract. He possesses a small tattoo for this summoning contract on the back of his left hand.
(兵器と忍ツールの品揃え) Weaponry & Ninja Tool Assortment
Kusanagi: "Heaven Splitting Sword". Crafted by a master sword smith, this blade is a chokutō that Kōtetsu stole from the Hidden Sounds Village, and was considered one of their national treasures. Though it was considered a treasure, the blade was shrouded within a dark legacy, with some saying that it brought out the murderous intent within a person, while other rumors claimed that the rage resided within the blade itself. It's is a bit larger in size than a normal chokutō, the blade is an inky black, and it's sheath sported the same color, but had a single red line spanning down the center. Kusanagi cut everything that crossed its path, it’s blood lust indiscriminate to anything that dared crossed its blade.
His ever present Anbu Black Ops Mask has a protective nose netting to purify the surrounding air and avoid poisonous gas or any other impurity from harming his nose, but this does not hinder his own sense of smell. In the eye grooves, it has black glass which prevents extremely bright light from entering the mask and serves to protect his eyes. He has a wide assortment of shuriken and kunai, flash and smoke bombs, and ninja wire in the pouch strapped to his left leg. He also has a number of small scrolls, pre-made sealing tags, and various other ninja tools stored in another pouch that he wears strapped to the back of his waist for easy access. He also has a scroll that holds his tonfa, and another that holds a number of three section staves, which can be summoned by simply unfurling the scrolls. Kōtetsu also possesses a heavy-duty version of the standard paper bombs, another gift from Keotsu. This tag has substantially more power than a regular exploding tag and has the kanji for “erupt” instead of “explode” written on them. These tags can't be discerned from their weaker counterparts at a glance.
(Jūhō Kibaku Fuda) Heavy Artillery Exploding Tag
The latest addition to his arsenal and a hard earned prize is the Akatsuki ring that the Inuzuka obtained after defeating Mand'alor the Indomitable on O'uzu Island. Known as North, the ring serves to not only empower his ninjutsu abilities but also allows him to create constructs of pure chakra. He wears the ring over the red glove on his left pinky finger.

Kōtetsu suffers from a rare form of synesthesia known as Misophonia. This is a neurological disorder in which negative experiences such as anger, hatred, and disgust are triggered by specific sounds. Coupled with the fact that he has enhanced hearing, his short temperament and bad attitude are attributed to this disorder. It could be said that the reason he tends to look down on others around him as trash is because of this.

Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos, except for the ability to change shape, the original ability that Mythos possessed in its form of "Mikomi", long, long ago.

When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not it's mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.
*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it to heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.
*While Mythos is in hand, Keotsu is unable to cast Genjutsu at all.

A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.
*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it to heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.

The IOSS usually required a unique case that held a multitude of blades, but because of its size Kōtetsu found it difficult to carry around. He combated this problem by having the case sealed within a small specialized scroll that he keeps strapped to the right side of his waist. By simply opening the scroll the case will appear, or he can throw the scroll skyward to summon the weapons directly.

Taijutsu went hand in hand with Kenjutsu, and without first mastering his own body he couldn't hope to master the sword. Armed with sharp nails and teeth, Kōtetsu's hand-to-hand combat is extremely dangerous, and after years of fighting in close quarters, he became proficient in the field. As a member of the Inuzuka clan, he receives a +10 damage boost to his hand related taijutsu. He has a quick reaction time, honed reflexes, increased physical strength, and is incredibly fast. His flexibility and dexterity also make him more than a formidable opponent for other taijutsu users of his own rank, and his prowess in the field allowed him to receive special weight training. As a practitioner of Hassan no Hōhō Kōtetsu has lost the ability to naturally feel fear, which allows him to not only receive blows without faltering but to also focus more on fighting.

Forced upon him during his escaped in the Sound Village, Kōtetsu bears a Curse Mark on his right shoulder that allows him to transform to varying degrees. The mark contains Senjutsu chakra, which considerably boosts his strength when opened. The first stage of his Cursed Seal creates an assortment of crimson tattoos that spread across his body, their shape reminiscent of large tears from an animal's claw. After some time the Inuzuka's Cursed Seal progressed to level two, and with it, he obtained the ability to transform into an otherworldly form. When this form is activated the already distinguished claw marks consume him completely in a crimson aura as they bulge and expand. Kotetsu's transformation stays true to his Inuzuka lineage, and his body structure morphs to resemble that of a werewolf-like form. Sleek fur protrudes from his body to create a mix between glistening black fur and dark, leather-like skin. His hands grow conveniently to become a mixture between hands and paws, which allows him to still perform hand seals, and a thick, majestic tail erupts from his tail bone.
He becomes capable assuming either a two legged or four legged posture thanks to his wonderfully developed muscle structure. The front of his upper chest, neck, and face remain unchanged, except for his now glowing crimson pupils and black sclera, more pronounced feral like snout, and his fully morphed triangular, canine-like ears. His hair, however, would erupt into a wild mane that would cascade down and around his neck and back. In addition to this, he grows a large set of bat-like wings from his back, granting him the ability of flight.

Kōtetsu is the holder of the Rat Summoning Contract, which includes all rodents under the Rattus Genus that reside within the Underland of the Ninja World. Kusanagi: "Heaven Splitting Sword". Crafted by a master sword smith, this blade is a chokutō that Kōtetsu stole from the Hidden Sounds Village, and was considered one of their national treasures. Though it was considered a treasure, the blade was shrouded within a dark legacy, with some saying that it brought out the murderous intent within a person, while other rumors claimed that the rage resided within the blade itself. It's is a bit larger in size than a normal chokutō, the blade is an inky black, and it's sheath sported the same color, but had a single red line spanning down the center. Kusanagi cut everything that crossed its path, it’s blood lust indiscriminate to anything that dared crossed its blade.
His ever present Anbu Black Ops Mask has a protective nose netting to purify the surrounding air and avoid poisonous gas or any other impurity from harming his nose, but this does not hinder his own sense of smell. In the eye grooves, it has black glass which prevents extremely bright light from entering the mask and serves to protect his eyes. He has a wide assortment of shuriken and kunai, flash and smoke bombs, and ninja wire in the pouch strapped to his left leg. He also has a number of small scrolls, pre-made sealing tags, and various other ninja tools stored in another pouch that he wears strapped to the back of his waist for easy access. He also has a scroll that holds his tonfa, and another that holds a number of three section staves, which can be summoned by simply unfurling the scrolls. All Ninjutsu technique's Handseals are decreased by 1/3. This ring produces a hidden frequency received by other rings providing a hidden form of communication among ring bearers.
Five times per battle, it can be used to create S ranked constructs of chakra attached to the ring that is able to drain chakra on contact, gaining up to 50 chakra each strike. However, after using, the user's ring backfires from chakra overload and cause all ninjutsu to require an additional 10 chakra for the next turn.

Kōtetsu suffers from a rare form of synesthesia known as Misophonia. This is a neurological disorder in which negative experiences such as anger, hatred, and disgust are triggered by specific sounds.
