I tried out blender before and I found a really good tutorial you guys can use to help:
I'm pretty good at drawing, nothing special but enough for a 3d modeler to look at a drawing and mine and construct a character. Currently I'm in another project for something else, and while doing that I'm getting better at my drawing skills.
So, long story short I would love to apply but now at this moment in time maybe soon. But still I wish you guys nothing but luck

The only thing I can help here is try out the game once its done. Do some blogging and link building for campaign/advertising. Looking forward to the realization of your idea!
