The Fourth Great Shinobi War lasted over 3 years but eventually the Allied Shinobi Forces prevailed in defeating Akatsuki. 20 years has passed and the Great Nations experience a state of peace, where all hostilities between nations have deteriorated. However, with the death of Tobi leaves the disappearance of Kabuto Yakushi, a man left in ruins after the war. Kabuto lives weak and acts as a parasite just to survive, however, the fact that he has survived still terrifies the Great Nations and he remains at the top wanted list of all the Great Nation. The search for Kabuto has died down in the past 11 years as the Nations focus on expansion and economy.

The story that once followed Naruto Uzumaki has ended as new protagonists: Koichi and Koji Shichiyo enter the scene. These two young shinobi from Sunagakure will take the position of responsibility as the world around them becomes endangered once again. They will live the difficult life of the shinobi and suffer the pain of death several times over, having no other option but to take what is thrown at them...We follow how they're treated by society and one another...​
